THE GUARDIAN--Interpol has been accused of abusing its powers after Saudi Arabia used the organisation's red notice system to get a journalist arrested in Malaysia for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
Police in Kuala Lumpur said Hamza Kashgari, 23, was detained at the airport "following a request made to us by Interpol" the international police cooperation agency, on behalf of the Saudi authorities.
Kashgari, a newspaper columnist, fled Saudi Arabia after posting a tweet on the prophet's birthday that sparked more than 30,000 responses and several death threats. The posting, which was later deleted, read: "I have loved things about you and I have hated things about you and there is a lot I don't understand about you … I will not pray for you."
More than 13,000 people joined a Facebook page titled "The Saudi People Demand the Execution of Hamza Kashgari".
Clerics in Saudi Arabia called for him to be charged with apostasy, a religious offence punishable by death. Reports suggest that the Malaysian authorities intend to return him to his native country.
Kashgari's detention has triggered criticism by human rights groups of Malaysia's decision to arrest the journalist and of Interpol's cooperation in the process.
Jago Russell, the chief executive of the British charity Fair Trials International, which has campaigned against the blanket enforcement of Interpol red notices, said: "Interpol should be playing no part in Saudi Arabia's pursuit of Hamza Kashgari, however unwise his comments on Twitter.
"If an Interpol red notice is the reason for his arrest and detention it would be a serious abuse of this powerful international body that is supposed to respect basic human rights (including to peaceful free speech) and to be barred from any involvement in religious or political cases." Saudis Use Interpol to Have Journalist Arrested for Criticizing Muhammad
This is horrifying. Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) is a worldwide network of police departments established to help countries capture criminals who cross borders. Saudi Arabia recently used an Interpol alert to have Hamza Kashgari arrested in Malaysia, where he fled for his life after Saudis began calling for his death. By helping the Saudis capture Kashgari, Interpol has become an international Sharia enforcement unit. People who flee the Muslim world to escape punishment can now be rounded up by Interpol and returned to their countries to face Islamic penalties for apostasy, criticizing Muhammad, etc.

At last, the mainstream media has stopped complaining about imaginary "Islamophobia" long enough to discuss actual persecution.
NEWSWEEK--We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring’s fight against tyranny. But, in fact, a wholly different kind of war is underway—an unrecognized battle costing thousands of lives. Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm.
The portrayal of Muslims as victims or heroes is at best partially accurate. In recent years the violent oppression of Christian minorities has become the norm in Muslim-majority nations stretching from West Africa and the Middle East to South Asia and Oceania. In some countries it is governments and their agents that have burned churches and imprisoned parishioners. In others, rebel groups and vigilantes have taken matters into their own hands, murdering Christians and driving them from regions where their roots go back centuries.
The media’s reticence on the subject no doubt has several sources. One may be fear of provoking additional violence. Another is most likely the influence of lobbying groups such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation—a kind of United Nations of Islam centered in Saudi Arabia—and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Over the past decade, these and similar groups have been remarkably successful in persuading leading public figures and journalists in the West to think of each and every example of perceived anti-Muslim discrimination as an expression of a systematic and sinister derangement called “Islamophobia”—a term that is meant to elicit the same moral disapproval as xenophobia or homophobia.
But a fair-minded assessment of recent events and trends leads to the conclusion that the scale and severity of Islamophobia pales in comparison with the bloody Christophobia currently coursing through Muslim-majority nations from one end of the globe to the other. The conspiracy of silence surrounding this violent expression of religious intolerance has to stop. Nothing less than the fate of Christianity—and ultimately of all religious minorities—in the Islamic world is at stake. (Read more.)

Egyptian Cleric Mazen Sirsawi Calls for Death Penalty for Apostates and Heretics
I guess he didn't get the memo that Islam promotes Western values. But not to worry. If Western politicians and news anchors keep telling us that Islam is a religion of peace, I'm sure Muslim clerics like Mazen Sirsawi will eventually start believing it.
Younus Abdullah Mohammad Pleads Guilty to Threatening South Park Creators
I ran into Younus at the "Salute Israel" parade a few years ago. He called me a "douche bag." I challenged him to a debate via email, but he ended up saying some nasty things about my mom instead. The sad part is that, if you read the Muslim sources, you find that Islam encourages this sort of behavior.
VIRGINIA--A Muslim convert charged with communicating threats to "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker is pleading guilty.
The Thursday hearing in a Virginia federal court found Younus Abdullah Mohammad, whose real name is Jesse Curtis Morton, facing charges for the incendiary material he put on his website, Revolution Muslim.
The matter stems from an April 2010 episode of "South Park" in which the Prophet Muhammad was depicted in a bear suit, igniting threats from Morton and two of the website's co-operators. Both of the others were arrested and charged with terrorism a month later, prompting Morton to flee the United States that summer.
He was taken into U.S. custody in Morocco in October, and has since remained in jail, awaiting trial. One of his associates, Zachary Adam Chesser, was sentenced to 25 years in prison last year for the online threats and attempting to provide information to foreign terrorist organizations.
Morton's guilty plea includes admissions to conspiracy, communicating threats and using the Internet to intimidate.
Beyond taking aim at Stone and Parker, CNN reports a counter-terrorism official referred to Revolution Muslim as the "top catalyst for radicalization for violence in the United States" over the last several years. (Source)
Osama Bin Laden Returns in Zombie Film "Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead"
And we know that, since Muslims don't support terrorism, they won't be offended by this movie.
ABC NEWS--A Utah production company announced today that it has shot a movie based on the premise that Osama bin Laden rises from his watery grave and leads an army of zombie terrorists in a violent jihad of the undead.
In the feature-length film, "Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead," a NATO Special Forces unit races to defeat zombie bin Laden and his flesh-seeking militia, while also stopping the infection from spreading to even more terrorist corpses.
According to the film's executive producer, Kynan Griffin, the script was written before the real al Qaeda leader was killed last May; once that happened, Griffin said, it was "too good to pass up."
"We've just had a lot of fun with it," Griffin said. "We had some great special effects makeup people that had done a lot of Hollywood work. Lots of actions, lots of zombie violence." (Read more.)
Sheikh Nasser al-Omar Calls for Execution of Hamza Kashgari for "Shameful" Comments about Muhammad on Twitter
Could anyone imagine the international uproar if a Christian pastor started demanding the death sentence for Muslims who say that Jesus isn't God? But when a Muslim sheikh demands the death penalty for a man who speaks against Muhammad, no one is surprised.
THE DAILY BEAST--Last week, just before the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth, Hamza Kashgari, a 23-year-old Saudi writer in Jidda, took to his Twitter feed to reflect on the occasion.
“On your birthday, I will say that I have loved the rebel in you, that you’ve always been a source of inspiration to me, and that I do not like the halos of divinity around you. I shall not pray for you,” he wrote in one tweet.
“On your birthday, I find you wherever I turn. I will say that I have loved aspects of you, hated others, and could not understand many more,” he wrote in a second.
“On your birthday, I shall not bow to you. I shall not kiss your hand. Rather, I shall shake it as equals do, and smile at you as you smile at me. I shall speak to you as a friend, no more,” he concluded in a third.
Twitter quickly flooded with responses to Kashgari, registering more than 30,000 within a day. He was accused of blasphemy, and enraged Saudis called for his death. By the time he removed the tweets and issued a long apology, backtracking on his comments and begging for forgiveness, the danger had already expanded beyond the Web. Someone posted Kashgari’s home address in a YouTube video, and, his friends say, vigilantes came looking for him at his local mosque. The Saudi information minister banned Kashgari’s local newspaper column and barred outlets across the country from publishing his work. Nasser al-Omar, an influential cleric, called for him to be tried in a Sharia court for apostasy, which is punishable by death. Other leading clerics decried Kashgari on their own, and Saudi Arabia’s council of senior scholars issued a rare and harshly worded communiqué condemning him and his tweets and demanding that he be put on trial. Yesterday, Saudi Arabia’s leading news site, SABQ, reported that the king himself had issued a warrant for Kashgari’s arrest.
With the pressure mounting, Kashgari fled to Southeast Asia earlier today. Hours later, in his first interview with the press, he told The Daily Beast that he was stunned by the turn of events but resigned to the fact that he can never return home. “It’s impossible. No way,” he said. “I’m afraid, and I don’t know where to go.” Kashgari says he is now planning to apply for asylum abroad. (Read more.)

Pamela Geller: Fox News Whitewashes "Honor" Killing
Wow. The media covering for Islam. Who'da thunk it?
WORLD NEWS DAILY--Last Thursday, Fox News Detroit aired a revealing segment on my AFDI/SIOA Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference on honor killing and Islamic law, which will be held on April 29 in Dearborn, Mich. The segment was originally supposed to air last Sunday, the day that the multiple first-degree murder verdict came down in the Shafia mass honor killing in Canada, but was inexplicably delayed. The segment focused on the fact that Mokdad family members, one in particular, are livid that we are using Jessica’s name in connection with “honor killing.” Various female Mokdad family members, including Jessica’s “stepmother,” Cassandra Mokdad, alleged that Jessica’s murder was not an honor killing, despite the overwhelming evidence that it was.
The report was typical for the mainstream media and unworthy of Fox, which, while not perfect, is generally much better than its competitors: Reporter Alexis Wiley doesn’t bother to give even a shred of the evidence that it was an honor killing, and instead gives the impression that it is something I am making up. She doesn’t mention that initial reports were quite clear – a shocking thing for the mainstream media – that her stepfather killed Jessica because she “wasn’t following Islam” (report from TwinCities.com) and was “not adhering to Muslim customs” (Star Tribune).
Arab American News reported that the last recorded dispute between Jessica Mokdad and her stepfather was over the wearing of the hijab (head scarf), which he originally forced her to wear (just as in the honor murder of Canadian teen Aqsa Parvez). Jessica didn’t want to wear it, thereby bringing shame on him and the family. Her stepfather, Rahim Alfetlawi, who murdered her, was pathologically controlling, after the pattern of honor killers. At one point Jessica called her father and told him: “Dad, I can’t live here anymore; he’s too strict. I can’t even go to the store to buy a pop if I want.”
Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Bill Contaldo said: “He thought she was becoming too Westernized. I think this was a very nice young lady wanting to experiment with Western culture without control and without abuse.” The Detroit Free Press reported: “Mokdad’s mother told police that Alfetlawi felt so shamed by her daughter’s Western ways. He killed her in an honor killing, Warren Police Sgt. Stephen Mills said.” Alfetlawi was so concerned about her behavior that he even forced her to go to a mosque and marry her boyfriend.
The Daily Mail reported this from London: “Devout Muslim stalks his stepdaughter over four states before killing her for being too Western.” The Daily Tribune reported: “Stepfather charged with murder in Warren, upset victim didn’t adhere to Muslim customs.”
And Alexis Wiley’s own previous report for Fox Detroit reported it as an honor killing as well: Wiley reported, “He forced her to wear a traditional head scarf instead of allowing her to make that decision on her own, and when she stopped wearing a scarf, friends say he became furious.” But last week on Fox and in the accompanying print report, Wiley gave no hint of the existence of these reports or her own. Why? Who is paying off Alexis Wiley? Or is it that she is scared, intimidated, afraid to “offend Islam”? Or is it that her political correctness makes it impossible to think of Muslims as anything but victims?
But in that case, why doesn’t Jessica Mokdad matter? (Read more.)

Michigan Federal Judge Denies Dearborn’s Request to Dismiss Our Civil Rights Case
Dearborn police threw us in jail for having a peaceful discussion with Muslims at a public festival. They also took us into custody two days later for attempting to distribute copies of the Gospel of John outside the festival. The police seized our cameras for nearly a month and filed false police reports, while the mayor waged a smear-campaign against us. The city of Dearborn then had the nerve to try to have our civil case thrown out of court, arguing that police had "probable cause" to arrest us! Fortunately, our lawyers do not know the meaning of "sleep," and the judge saw through the city's attempt.

MICHIGAN--A U.S. District Court Judge in Detroit, Michigan denied the City of Dearborn’s request to dismiss the civil rights claims brought by several Christian missionaries arising out of their arrests by City police officers in 2010. The Christians were arrested by City police officers while preaching to Muslims at the City’s Arab Festival. The Christians spent the night in jail and were then charged and tried for “breaching the peace.” American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) Senior Counsel Robert J. Muise won acquittals from a jury for all the Christian defendants at the conclusion of the criminal trial.
Following the acquittals, Muise, along with AFLC Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi, filed a 96-page civil rights lawsuit against the City, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Acts 17 Apologetics, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla, and Josh Hogg—the Christians whose rights were violated by the City officials. Muise commented, “The judge’s ruling today is a huge victory for these Christians. It allows the civil rights claims for the most egregious constitutional violations to proceed against the City and its officials. AFLC is committed to ensuring that our Constitution and not sharia law, which makes it a crime to preach the Gospel to Muslims, is the supreme law in this country.”
In their motion, the City had argued that the state court judge’s finding in the criminal proceeding that the police officers had probable cause to arrest the Christians based on a complaint from festival worker Roger Williams effectively immunized the City of Dearborn and the individual defendants from civil suit. Muise and Yerushalmi, on behalf of the Christians, countered by arguing that the ruling does not preclude the civil rights claims because it was based upon fabricated allegations and besides, the Christians did not have a full and fair opportunity to challenge the claims in the police reports prior to the ruling. The federal judge agreed with the AFLC attorneys.
In his ruling, U.S. District Court Judge Stephen J. Murphy, III, stated, “It is a reasonable inference from their allegations that [City officials] knew Williams’ complaint was pretextual.” The federal judge noted that “[t]he indirect evidence of this conspiracy that was developed in state court and is already a part of the record in this case—including the videos and the testimony given by [City police officers] at their trial—elevates [the Christians’] accusations above the threshold of plausibility. . . .” The federal judge also stated, “The [state] district judge appears to have presumed the police reports submitted were truthful, and staked his probable cause determination on that presumption. Plaintiffs had no opportunity to either cross-examine the officers or take the stand themselves to contest the reports.” The judge concluded, “Finally, the district court was inattentive to the effect Plaintiffs’ claims of First Amendment protection might have on the probable cause determination. . . . The Sixth Circuit has warned on previous occasions that Michigan’s ‘breach of peace’ statute is prone to such abuse.”
Yerushalmi concluded, “This case is a stunning example of the pernicious influence of stealth jihad and sharia law in America. The City of Dearborn is now a serial violator of Christians’ constitutional rights and has wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and costs defending its insidious conduct. Apparently, in Dearborn, where sharia and jihad are advocated openly, it is a crime to preach the Christian Gospel. AFLC is committed to stopping this attack on our Constitution. And the ruling today allows us to do just that.”

Kangaroo Again Condemns Muhammad
Wow. Kangaroo can't seem to say anything without attacking his prophet. In response to my last post, he writes:

So Jews call Ezra "the son of Allah"? All right, Kangaroo. Please give us a few historical examples of Jews calling Ezra the son of Allah. If you can't, then isn't it obvious that Muhammad misrepresented Jewish beliefs?
Here's the amazing thing. Kangaroo's prophet said false things about Christianity and Judaism. Kangaroo will simply justify the claims. But if I tell Muslims, "The Qur'an hasn't been perfectly preserved. Here, let me quote you several passages from your own sources declaring quite plainly that the Qur'an hasn't been perfectly preserved," Kangaroo calls me a deceiver.
So a deceiver is someone who points out clear quotations from Muslim sources. An honest person is someone who believes the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved, despite the fact that it hasn't.

Kangaroo Condemns Muhammad
In the comments section of a recent post, our Muslim friend Kangaroo condemned his own prophet. According to Kangaroo, it's morally repugnant to go around harassing people because of their beliefs. Indeed, such behavior is a symptom of insecurity. He writes:

According to Kangaroo, it's "extremely sad that one has to spend their life annoying other faiths." With this in mind, pay careful attention to how the Meccans reacted to Muhammad's constant criticism.
Wow! Muhammad sure was insecure about his faith! In fact, he was so insecure, he even commanded his followers to mistreat, abuse, and fight non-Muslims:
But Kangaroo can't stomach any of this. He believes it's wrong to spend any significant amount of time criticizing other people's beliefs. Hence, Kangaroo has condemned his own prophet, who spent far more time worrying about unbelievers than I ever will. Muhammad slaughtered unbelievers. I simply point out when Muslims believe something that's obviously false. According to Kangaroo, this makes me a much better person than Muhammad.
My life isn't spent going around annoying Christians about their religion lol.
And it's extremely sad that one has to spend their life annoying other faiths constantly since he/she is insecure about their own faith.

At-Tabari, Volume VI, p. 93—The Messenger of Allah proclaimed Allah’s message openly and declared Islam publicly to his fellow tribesmen. When he did so, they did not withdraw from him or reject him in any way . . . until he spoke of their gods and denounced them. When he did this, they took exception to it and united in opposition and hostility to him, except for those of them whom Allah had protected from error by means of Islam.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6924—Allah’s Messenger said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and whoever said La ilaha illahllah, Allah will save his property and his life from me.”
Sahih Muslim 30—It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right, and his affairs rest with Allah.
Sahih Muslim 33—It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.

Hence, Kangaroo has condemned his own prophet, who spent far more time worrying about unbelievers than I ever will. Muhammad slaughtered unbelievers. Tracts Needed for College Campuses
Greetings. There are some local interfaith dialogues going on over the next few months (send me an email if you'd like to attend). I've talked to some of the Muslims there, and, not surprisingly, they all believe that the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved (because that's what their leaders tell them to believe). Of course, the Muslim sources prove conclusively that this belief is sheer nonsense. Entire chapters of the Qur'an were lost, not to mention large sections of chapters, individual verses, phrases, words, etc.
Since Muslim leaders refuse to tell Muslim students the truth, that task now falls to us. I think we need to make an extra effort this year to ensure that the next generation of Muslims doesn't share the delusions of the previous generation. So here's what I propose. I'm going to put together a tract on the preservation of the Qur'an (we did this a few years ago, but I've got more info to include now). Then I'm going to print 5,000 or 10,000 copies. I only need a few hundred for the interfaith dialogues, but it's much cheaper to print in bulk, and I know plenty of people who can distribute the rest. I will add the PDF file of the tract to the "Quran" tab above, so that anyone can print copies and distribute them in their area. Pakistan: Three Women Murdered in Yet Another "Honor" Killing

PAKISTAN--Kot Chuttha police have arrested a man who has admitted to killing his wife, Samina, her sister (his brother’s wife) and their mother in collusion with his brother in a Dera Ghazi Khan village.
Talking to The Express Tribune at the police station, Ismaeel said he did not believe he had committed a crime. “My wife and her sister (his brother’s wife) had loose morals. They deserved death. I can’t let my wife talk to other men,” he said. He said he had caught Samina (his wife) talking to a man over cell phone.
The suspect said he and his brother, Imran, had shot and killed Samina and Zarmina, their wives, and their mother, Kulsoom, on Friday night. “Their mother was to blame for it. She had failed to raise her daughters in accordance with our traditions. I had warned her (mother-in-law) several times to control her daughters,” he said.
According to the FIR registered on a complaint filed by the father of the deceased sisters, Mukhtar, the suspects had came to his house on Friday night to ask their wives to return home with them.
Mukhtar said Samina and Zarmina had left their husbands’ home a week ago and had been living at their parents’ house in Basti Damraywala. He said his daughters had married the suspects about six months ago. He said whenever the deceased visited him they complained about their husbands’ behaviour. “They would always complain about their husbands beating them and quarreling with them,” he said. Civilian Deaths Rising in Afghanistan Due to More Sophisticated Suicide Attacks
When American or Israeli soldiers kill a Muslim civilian, even by accident, there are loud protests from Muslims, rioting, burning flags, etc. But when the Taliban kills thousands of Muslims per year, we don't hear a peep from Muslims. Any thoughts on why that is?
AFGHANISTAN--The number of civilians killed in the conflict rose eight per cent last year to reach 3,021 – with more than three-quarters caused by attacks from the Taliban-led insurgency.
The findings that on average more than eight Afghans a day are being killed are at odds with Nato assessments that violence is falling.
Deaths from suicide attacks rose more than 80 per cent to 431 over the year.
The number of suicide attacks did not rise, but "the nature of these attacks changed, becoming more complex, sometimes involving multiple suicide bombers, and designed to yield greater numbers of dead and injured civilians" the report found.
The worst was an attack outside a Kabul shrine in December that killed at least 56 and wounded 195 when a bomber detonated in a crowd of Shia worshippers celebrating the Ashura holiday. That attack was claimed by Pakistan-based militants. (Read more.)

Sudan Bombs Christian School
Note: This attack wasn't perpetrated by a lone-wolf jihadist or by a terrorist group. It was an attack on a Bible school by the Sudanese government. Could you imagine the international uproar if the U.S. or Israel were targeting a Qur'an school filled with children studying the Qur'an? But when a Muslim government deliberately attacks a Bible school, it's simply not very important news.
NAIROBI, Kenya — Sudan’s military bombed a Bible school built by a U.S. Christian aid group, prompting students and teachers at the school to run for their lives in the Nuba Mountains in South Kordofan state.
The U.S. ambassador to the United Nations condemned the attack.
Pictures obtained by The Associated Press on Friday showed that two stone school buildings were demolished in the attack. No one was hurt or killed despite the fact school was in session.
Ryan Boyette, a former aid worker who lives in Sudan and is now leading a team of 15 citizen journalists, spoke to a teacher at the site of Wednesday’s attack in the Nuba Mountains. The teacher, Zachariah Boulus, told Boyette that he couldn’t find his wife and children after the attack because everyone ran into the mountains for safety.
Boyette said that two of eight bombs dropped hit the school.
The Heiban Bible College was built by Samaritan’s Purse, a North Carolina-based aid group. Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham said the attack was carried out by the Sudanese Air Force.
“Please pray for the safety of believers, and that God would intervene,” Graham said.
Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., said she was outraged by what she called a “heinous” bombing.
“It was the first day of school, and the campus was full of students, teachers and families,” Rice said in a statement. “While miraculously no one was killed, this attack-involving eight bombs dropped from the air-underscores the viciousness of Sudan’s ongoing military campaign in Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile states.” (Read more.)
Pakistani Police Arrest Man for "Offensive Language Against the Companions of the Holy Prophet"
But we shouldn't be worried about the spread of Islam and its values.
KARACHI--The police have arrested a young man for allegedly using offensive language against the companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Mujahid, was associated with a private security company and posted at a biscuit factory in Korangi from where he was arrested.
Korangi Industrial Area SHO Malik Ayub told The Express Tribune that a man named Zubair had approached the police, complaining that Mujahid had sent him the text message.
Malik said that Mujahid and Zubair were friends but belonged to different sects. They were working at the same factory but recently Zubair was transferred to another factory.
The police have registered a case under Section 298-A of the Pakistan Penal Code and Section 28 of the Telegraph Act. Police have also seized their cell phones. (Source)

Samatar Mohamed: Should Christians Get the Death Penalty?
In the comments section of a recent post, Samatar said something quite revealing. He wrote:
I could address Samatar's absurd reasoning, i.e. "I believe calling Jesus God is a great crime; therefore, Jesus is not God." (Notice the "therefore" in his claim, which makes it seem as if he has offered some argument.)
But a more important point is Samatar's claim that believing in the Deity of Christ is a greater crime than murder or adultery. What is the penalty for murder in Islam? Death. What is the penalty for adultery? Death. But Samatar says that believing in Jesus' deity is an even greater crime. Should there be no penalty, or is Samatar finally coming to see the "wisdom" of Qur'an 9:29?
Is Samatar now going to change his tune, claiming that the greatest criminals in the world (Christians) should be free to commit the worst crime imaginable, and to call others to do so as well?

That is one of the most important differences between Islam and christianity. The greatest crime I can possibly imagine doing is having partners beside Allah (swt). Even murder, rape, adultery do not compare to associating partners with god. And let me emphasize that I love the prophet Esa (pbuh) with all my heart and one day hope to meet such a great man in heaven, as I wish to meet Musa (pbuh), Yusuf (pbuh), Ibrahim (pbuh) and especially the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who was a mercy to mankind. But God willing, I will never elevate a human being to the level of my creator. Therefore, in short, Jesus (pbuh) is not God almighty.

Imam Nizaam Ali Charged for Having Sex with Three Boys
Muslims assure us that the West needs Islam, but I'm starting to think that maybe Islam isn't the solution.
GUYANA--Imam Nizaam Ali has been remanded to prison until February 9 after he was charged with having sex with under aged boys. He made his first court appearance in the Sparendaam Magistrate's Court today before magistrate Alex Moore.
The act was allegedly committed on three boys all under the age of twelve, between December 6 and 31, 2011 at a Masjid at D Field Sophia. The matter was indictable and he was not required to plea. The man appeared before magistrate Alex Moore in the Sparendaam Magistrates Court, East Coast Demerara.
The public, including media operatives, were barred from the hearing which lasted for almost two hours. Meanwhile one of the victims mother says after several weeks of investigations she is getting the feeling that justice will be served. She added that it has been very difficult for the children; however, she has faith in god that they will soon be okay.
“I get a relief to know that part of justice is already being solved, I get a relief”, one of the victims mother said. “They are traumatized and they are still in protective custody and I will visit them and let them know that justice is being served but still wants counseling for the children.”
The woman said when she was told of the incident she did not believe the children until a medical examination confirmed the boys claims. (Source)
Pakistan: Tribal Killers Hunting Down Newlyweds Who Dishonored Families
Does there ever come a point when we say that all cultures are not equally good?
KARACHI--Back home, Z and N saw their siblings dragged outside, shot in broad daylight, and buried at night without a funeral—so that their family could continue to live with ‘honour’ in the village and amid the clan.
Now in Karachi, the couple hides in a one-room house in a wholly unfamiliar neighbourhood. They fear a similar fate.
“My family declared us karo kari just because I married of my own choice,” said 23-year-old Z, bursting into tears. “We have come to Karachi for protection.”
Couples who choose to marry of their own free will and in return are declared untouchables for ‘defaming’ the family name, are leaving their hometowns in rural Sindh to seek refuge in the metropolis. The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan states that during the last two months, around five married couples have fled to Karachi from Jacobabad, Larkana and Sukkur. Z who hails from Naudero, and her husband from Shikarpur, are the fifth couple, who came here earlier this month.
Their tale is not a typical love story. They did not fall in love in lush green fields but met only at family gatherings and talked occasionally on the phone. However, the decision to spend their lives together came abruptly when Z’s father decided to marry her to a 60-year-old man in exchange for a hefty amount.
On the night of January 12, Z escaped from home, boarded a bus and got married to N in Sukkur the next morning. “We sent our marriage certificate to our families hoping that they would be happy for us,” N says. “While my family reluctantly accepted, Z’s family called a jirga and declared us karo kari.” They wanted them to be brought back and killed.
Years ago, Z’s pregnant sister met a similar fate after she overslept on her train and missed her stop. The family accused her of running away from home with a lover. On the other hand, N’s brother, who was in the army, was killed only because he liked a girl from another clan.
Thus, for Z and N, the only choice they had was to come to Karachi, and file a petition in the Sindh High Court, seeking protection. But the danger is not over. They do not go outside as the people hunting for them have reached the city.
“It’s not a crime to marry the person we want to. But back home, our elders think women are their property. We can’t do things we want to do. At least in the city, we can breathe freely,” said Z from behind her burqa, perhaps the thinnest protection she has for now.
Taranum Khan of the HRCP says that almost all of such killings, which took place in the city last year, were of couples who had fled their villages. “If people think that they can be safe in Karachi, they are wrong. Their families hunt them down here and kill them,” she said. (Read more.)
Islamists Win "Landslide" Majority in Kuwaiti Elections
Since Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance, we should all be thrilled to learn that people who want to enforce Sharia are doing so well in recent elections.
KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait's Islamist-led opposition has won a landslide majority in Kuwait's snap polls by securing 34 seats in the 50-member parliament, officials results released on Friday showed.
Sunni Islamists took 23 seats compared with just nine in the dissolved parliament, while liberals were the big losers, winning only two places against five previously.
No women were elected, with the four female MPs of the previous parliament all losing their seats.
Voters punished pro-government MPs, reducing them to a small minority, especially 13 former MPs who were questioned by the public prosecutor over corruption charges.
The opposition scored strongly in the two tribal-dominated constituencies, winning 18 of the 20 available seats. Kuwait is divided into five electoral districts, with each electing 10 lawmakers.
Minority Shiites who form about 30 percent of the native population saw their representation reduced to seven MPs from nine, with four of them from Islamist groups. (Read more.)

Egyptian Comedian Adel Imam Sentenced for Offending Islam
American politicians and the American media cheered Egyptian rebels as they toppled the Mubarak regime. In the West, we assume that if you remove a dictator, a flowering of freedom and democracy will follow. Of course, those of us who know about Islam were pointing out that Muslim political parties such as the Muslim Brotherhood would never support genuine freedom and democracy. I suppose another "I told you so" would be redundant.
Wait a minute! Is the Associated Press telling us that Islamist parties may actually support Islamic principles? But I thought that Islamist parties only supported Western values. Now I'm confused.
CAIRO (AP)—One of the Arab world's best known Egyptian comedians has been sentenced to three months in jail for offending Islam, a judge said Thursday, in the latest such case against a high-profile figure, underlining concerns about freedom of expression in Egypt.
The judge confirmed that Adel Imam, a veteran actor who first starred in a play in 1964, was convicted in absentia of insulting the religion.
The judge said Imam can appeal. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief reporters.
Tarek el-Shinnawi, an entertainment reporter in Egypt, said that Imam was in Egypt recently filming a television series. Egypt's Actors' Syndicate said Imam's whereabouts are unknown. Imam could not be reached for comment.
The state-run Ahram Online English website reported Thursday he was found guilty for "defaming Islam" in a 2007 movie in which he plays a corrupt businessman who tries to buy a university diploma. The film, Morgan Ahmed Morgan, included a scene with bearded Muslim men wearing traditional Islamic robes. Other reports said the court objected to his use of Islamic symbols in the film and others he has appeared in.
Last month, Egyptian telecommunications and construction tycoon Naguib Sawiris, a founder of the liberal Free Egyptians political party, faced similar charges of defaming Islam after he posted pictures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse wearing Islamic clothing on Twitter.

Muslim Leader Converted Man to Islam, Then Raped His Wife
But I thought that Islam was going to rescue us from immorality?
DAILY STAR--An old, very ill prosecution witness, lying in bed and in tears, narrated before the International Crimes Tribunal how his wife was raped in the presence of Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee in 1971.
He told the court how a girl was born following the rape, how his wife had to leave the country for good, how he had to live his life without seeing his wife ever again and how Sayedee converted him to Islam during the Liberation War.
“It was sometime between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. I was not home,” said the 81-year-old from his bed covered in a blanket.
“When I returned home, my wife told me she had been raped,” he said in an emotionally choked voice. She told him that she was feeling “intolerable pain” and she could not talk much. They got married only a few days before the war began.
“He who converted you to Islam came here. You don't worry about me, just escape,” he quoted his wife as saying.
When prosecutors asked who had converted him to Islam, the witness said it was Jamaat-e-Islami leader Delawar Hossain Sayedee.
The three-member tribunal headed by Justice Nizamul Huq finished recording the deposition and cross-examination of the 23rd witness yesterday in a case against Sayedee regarding charges of crimes against humanity committed during the Liberation War of 1971.
Sayedee, nayeb-e-ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, is among six Jamaat and two BNP leaders who are facing war crimes charges at the tribunal. He was present at the tribunal throughout yesterday's proceedings. (Read more.)

I wouldn't have bothered responding to someone who obviously has no concern for truth, logic, accuracy, reality, or consistency, but James is a bit more optimistic that the truth may eventual break through the walls of ignorance.

If you listen to Muslim apologists, you'll notice one of the most disturbing trends in history. All too often, the more reckless, sloppy, and inaccurate a Muslim apologist is with the New Testament, the more popular he becomes.
Take recent internet sensation Kamal Saleh. His video currently has around 750,000 hits on YouTube. Yet the video is filled with numerous blatantly false claims. Why would a video with no connection to reality and no concern for accuracy be so popular among Muslims?
Is the video accurate? Not by a long shot. Tur8infan posted several pages worth of errors here. Not to be outdone, James White posted a nearly hour-long video response:
And now for the coup de grâce:
Muslims are officially on trial. Kamal has obviously misrepresented Christianity. He may appeal to his own ignorance as a defense, but not after the responses have circulated. If Kamal has an ounce of integrity, he'll take down his video (or add some major annotations apologizing for his numerous errors). Will he do so? If not, will his fellow Muslims correct him and demand that he show more concern for truth? Or will Muslims continue to spread falsehood, knowing that they are misrepresenting what the Bible says? Only time will tell, but one thing is clear. The reaction of Muslims to this material will tell us a great deal about the character of Muslims. They have an excellent opportunity to demonstrate intellectual honesty and integrity. I hope they take advantage of it.

Muslim Man Murders Wife for Giving Birth to Another Daughter
And his mother helped plan the murder.
KABUL, Afghanistan–An Afghan woman has been strangled to death, apparently by her husband, who was upset that she gave birth to a second daughter rather than the son he had hoped for, police said Monday.
It was the latest in a series of grisly examples of subjugation of women that have made headlines in Afghanistan in the past few months -- including a 15-year-old tortured and forced into prostitution by in-laws and a female rape victim who was imprisoned for adultery.
The episodes have raised the question of what will happen to the push for women's rights in Afghanistan as the international presence here shrinks along with the military drawdown. NATO forces are scheduled to pull out by the end of 2014.
In the 10 years since the ouster of the Taliban, great strides have been made for women in Afghanistan, with many attending school, working in offices and even sometimes marching in protests. But abuse and repression of women are still common, particularly in rural areas where women are still unlikely to set foot outside of the house without a burqa robe that covers them from head to toe.
The man in the latest case, Sher Mohammad, fled the Khanabad district in Kunduz province last week, about the time a neighbor found his 22-year-old wife dead in their house, said District Police Chief Sufi Habibullah. Medical examiners whom police brought to check the body said she had been strangled, Habibullah said.
The woman, named Estorai, had warned family members that her husband had repeatedly reproached her for giving birth to a daughter rather than a son and had threatened to kill her if it happened again, said Provincial women's affairs chief Nadira Ghya, who traveled to Khanabad to deal with the case. Estorai gave birth to her second daughter between two and three months ago, Ghya said. Officials did not have a family name for either Sher Mohammad or Estorai.
Police took the man's mother into custody because she appears to have collaborated in a plot to kill her daughter-in-law, Habibullah said. Ghya, who visited the man's mother in jail, said that she swears that Estorai committed suicide by hanging. Police said they found no rope and no evidence of hanging from the woman's wounds. Mohammad Shafia, Tooba Yahya, and Hamed Shafia Found Guilty of First Degree Murder in Mass "Honor" Killings
Mohammad Shafia, along with one of his wives and his son, murdered three daughters and a second wife for "betraying Islam." The three defendants have just been found guilty of first-degree murder. I'm wondering if CAIR will cry "Islamophobia" at this one.
THE CANADIAN PRESS--A jury has found three members of an Afghanistan-born Montreal family guilty of killing three daughters and a co-wife in a so-called honour killing.
Mohammad Shafia, 58, his wife Tooba Yahya, 42, and their son Hamed, 21, have been found guilty of four counts each of first-degree murder.
They have been convicted of killing Shafia sisters Zainab, 19, Sahar, 17, and Geeti, 13, as well as Rona Amir Mohammad, 52, their father's childless first wife in a polygamous marriage.
Their bodies were found June 30, 2009, in a car submerged in a canal in Kingston, Ont., where the family had stopped for the night on their way home from Niagara Falls, Ont.
The Crown theory was that Shafia, Yahya and Hamed drowned the four victims elsewhere on the site, placed their bodies in the car, then pushed it into the canal with the family's other vehicle.
The defence had said it was an accident, that they had gone for a joy ride with Zainab driving and accidentally plunged into the canal with Hamed watching, although he didn't call police. (Source)
Christian Family Flees to Escape Muslim Persecution . . . in Denmark
The glories of multiculturalism. Muslims immigrate to Denmark, and they come from countries where it is perfectly acceptable to harass and persecute Christians. Their new government refuses to criticize their cultural practices (since that would be intolerant), so the practices continue.

DENMARK--The Iranian-born leader of the Free Church "Church of Love," Massoud Fouroozandeh has moved out of the Odense district Vollsmose with his family to a small town at a secret location. This happens after the family has had two cars smashed because a Christian cross was hanging inside them.
"I was told by young people in Vollsmose that I should not drive into the area with the cross hanging in the car. Then our car was smashed and burned and the seats cut up. Since then the side windows in our new car was smashed three times," he says.
After the vandalism Fouroozandeh Massoud and his wife dare no longer let their children play on the playground in Vollsmose.
"They do not wear a headscarf, which 99 percent of the other children do, so they attracted too much attention, and it was not safe to send them out to play. So we moved very far away from Vollsmose," he says. (Read more.)

Former Muslim Hiding in Kenya after Repeated Threats
Meanwhile, Muslims in the West are complaining about Islamophobia.
NAIROBI, Kenya, January 27 (CDN) — A former member of a Muslim extremist group in Uganda who converted to Christianity is in hiding in Kenya, his movements severely restricted following threats to kill him.
Hassan Sharif Lubenga, 54, was a sheikh and member of the Buk Haram, a violent group of Islamists whose name suggests the Bible is corrupt and therefore forbidden. Originally from Chengera, seven kilometers from Kampala, the husband to four wives began his conversion process four years ago; in June 2011, he said, after various dreams and visions in which Jesus appeared to him, he made a full commitment to follow Christ.
Lubenga fled to Kenya last July 10 after hostilities peaked, and upon returning to Uganda in September he received messages on his cell phone from mujahidin – Islamic fighters – threatening to kill him, he said. He reported the threats to Chengera police, who told him they would investigate, but in October a friend told him that he’d heard in a Chengera mosque that his former colleagues were enraged and planning to kill him.
“My heart got troubled, but the voice of Jesus continued whispering to me to witness for Jesus without fear,” Lubenga said.
When Lubenga felt like giving up on his new faith, he said, he received a call from Bishop Umar Mulinde, his former pastor at Gospel Life Church International who was scarred in a Christmas Eve acid attack by Muslim extremists (see “Muslim Extremists in Uganda Throw Acid on Bishop,” Dec. 28, 2011). Mulinde told him the church was praying for him, and Lubenga was deeply heartened, he said.
“All my family members have deserted me,” he said by telephone. “The Muslims are looking to kill me. I need protection and help.” (Read more.)

Muslims Stab Two Iranian Apostates . . . in Norway
But who are we to judge? Islamic culture calls for killing apostates. Do Norwegian authorities believe that Western values such as freedom of religion somehow trump Islamic values? Islamophobes! Wait till CAIR hears about this.

NORWAY--Two Iranians who converted from Islam to Christianity were stabbed by masked men in Haugesund last week. The attacker shouted 'Kuffar' (Arabic for non-believer) during the attack.
The attack happened Tuesday evening, when both Christian Iranians were out walking in Haugesund. They were suddenly attacked by three masked men armed with knives, who shouted 'kuffar' while they stabbed the two.
A nurse passing by gave first aid and then an ambulance brought them to a hospital, reports Haugesunds Avis.
According to the police, one of the victims was stabbed twice in the back and the other was stabbed in his side. No perpetrators have been caught.
The two victims want to remain anonymous and have not spoken of the assault. They've lived in Norway for many years. One of them converted in Norway, the other did so in Iran and managed to flee to Norway after he was abused and imprisoned for his faith.
They're both active in a local evangelical church. (Read more.)

Over 3000 Muslims Attack Christian Homes and Shops in Egypt
The attacks were carried out by Salafis and the Muslim Brotherhood. But don't worry. Salafis and the Muslim Brotherhood just took over the Egyptian government, so things are sure to get better for the Copts and other minorities.
(AINA)--A mob of over 3000 Muslims attacked Copts in the village of Kobry-el-Sharbat (el-Ameriya), Alexandria this afternoon. Coptic homes and shops were looted before being set ablaze. Two Copts and a Muslim were injured. The violence started after a rumor was spread that a Coptic man had an allegedly intimate photo of a Muslim woman on his mobile phone. The Coptic man, Mourad Samy Guirgis, surrendered to the police this morning morning for his protection.
According to eyewitnesses, the perpetrators were bearded men in white gowns. "They were Salafists, and some of were from the Muslim Brotherhood," according to one witness. It was reported that terrorized women and children who lost their homes were in the streets without any place to go.
According to Father Boktor Nashed from St. George's Church in el-Nahdah, a meeting between Muslim and Christian representatives was supposed to take place in the evening in Kobry-el-Sharbat. But, by 3 P.M. a Muslim mob looted and torched the home of Mourad Samy Guirgis, as well as the home of his family and three homes of Coptic neighbors. A number of Coptic-owned shops and businesses were also looted and torched. "We contacted security forces, but they arrived very, very late," Said Father Nashad. The fire brigade was prevented from going into the village by the Muslims and the fires were left to burn themselves out. "Those who lost their home, left the village," said Father Nashed. Growing Number of Child Brides Among Muslims ... in London
Behold the glories of multiculturalism. We keep telling ourselves that all cultures are equal, and that no one should judge another person's cultural practices. But then we have to face reality: Other cultures follow Muhammad's example and see no problem with old men having sex with nine-year-old girls. So now we have a dilemma on our hands. Do we protect the young girls, thereby showing that we don't really believe the absurd myth that all cultures are equal? Or do we sacrifice the young girls on the altar of political correctness and false tolerance?
UNITED KINGDOM--An alarming number of under-age girls – some as young as nine – are being forced into marriage in Islington [a neighborhood in London], according to a leading campaign group.
The Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) claim that at least 30 girls in the borough were forced into marriage in 2010.
The practice was condemned by the Imam of Finsbury Park Mosque, who said such marriages were against Islam and “unacceptable”.
He pledged to invalidate any marriage which he said were carried out by “back-street Imams”.
IKWRO, which made headlines last month when they revealed there had been almost 3,000 “honour-based” violence cases in 2010, has shown the Tribune records which revealed at least three 11-year-old girls and two nine-year-olds had been forced into marriage with older men within Islington. The oldest girls involved were 16.
They have warned that hundreds of Islington girls could be suffering sexual, emotional and physical scars as a result of the child marriages every year and are calling for teachers, social workers and police to be better trained to spot and manage the abuse.
Information from the Ministry of Justice, following a Freedom of Information request, revealed that 32 Forced Marriage Protection Order applications were made for children under 16 in Britain last year.
Six of these were made for under-16s within Islington at the Royal Courts of Justice, although these were not necessarily made for Islington residents.
At the Islington court, “five or fewer” orders were made to protect children between the ages of 9-11.
The orders are a form of injunction that threaten legal punishment if marriage takes place due to emotional or physical force.
In most cases, the children fear they will be killed if they reveal the truth to anybody, while others believe they will be separated from their families and taken into social services’ care.
Dianna Nammi, director of IKWRO, explained that the girls are married in a mosque’s sharia court. This means they are not legally married according to British law, rendering the Home Office unable to recognise or prove the abuse.
“They are still expected to carry out their wifely duties, though, and that includes sleeping with their husband,” she said.
“They have to cook for them, wash their clothes, everything. They are still attending schools in Islington, struggling to do their primary school homework, and at the same time being practically raped by a middle-aged man regularly and being abused by their families. So they are a wife, but in a primary school uniform.
“The reason it doesn’t get out is because they are too terrified to speak out, and also the control their families have over them is impossible to imagine if you’re not going through it. The way it is covered up is so precise, almost unspeakable.” (Read more at Islington Tribune.)

The City of Dearborn has no respect for Freedom of Speech. They threw four of us in jail for having a peaceful discussion at the Arab Festival. They took us into custody two days later for attempting to distribute copies of the Gospel of John outside the Arab Festival. They threw Terry Jones and his partner Wayne Sapp in jail for planning to hold a rally across the street from the largest mosque in America. And they violated the rights of countless Christians by threatening to jail anyone who would dare pass out tracts within five blocks of the Arab Festival.
Fortunately, there are lawyers who believe in fighting for our Constitutional rights. In 2011, Robert Muise won a long legal battle on behalf of Pastor George Saieg. Pastor Saieg, who immigrated to the U.S. from Sudan (and therefore understands what it's like to live under Muslim rule), simply wanted the right to pass out tracts to Muslims. The Thomas More Law Center took up his case and defeated Dearborn's pro-Sharia attorneys. Pastor George went to the 2011 festival with his team and passed out materials to thousands of Muslims.
Of course, fighting lengthy legal battles costs money, which is why it's exciting to learn that the city is now required to pay the Thomas More Law Center more than $100,000 in attorneys' fees. AFLC--Today, a U.S. Magistrate Judge in Detroit, Michigan recommended that Robert J. Muise, the attorney for Christian Pastor George Saieg, be awarded $103,401.96 in fees and costs for successfully challenging the City of Dearborn’s restriction on the Christian’s right to freedom of speech at the 2009 Arab Festival held in the City. The City, not wanting to offend its large Muslim population, would not allow the Christian to hand out religious literature at the Festival.
In the order, the federal judge stated, “In this case, the Plaintiff received the full relief he sought — an invalidation of the leafleting restriction and a permanent injunction barring its enforcement. . . . Because this result ‘cannot fairly be labeled as anything short of excellent, [Plaintiff] is entitled to a fully compensatory fee.’” AFLC Senior Counsel Robert J. Muise represented Pastor Saieg in this successful free speech case. At the time, Muise was Senior Trial Counsel for the Thomas More Law Center. The City has 14 days to appeal. [Read order here]
“The award of attorney fees in this case,” noted Muise, “is critical in the lawfare against Civilization Jihad and dhimmitization, or subjugation, of an entire municipality in Michigan. Dearborn has a long record of this kind of illegal, heavy-handed treatment of Christians as an attempt to placate Dearborn’s sharia-faithful. The court’s ruling today demonstrates that this kind of behavior will come at great cost.”
Muise recently won acquittals for charges of “disturbing the peace” brought by the Dearborn prosecutor against a group of Christians following their arrests by Dearborn police in 2010 for the same kind of peaceful free speech activities. Muise and David Yerushalmi of the American Freedom Law Center, along with attorneys from the Thomas More Law Center, currently represent these Christians in a civil action arising from these arrests.

Muslim Convert Antonio Martinez (aka Muhammed Hussain) Pleads Guilty to Planning Maryland Terrorist Attack
Muslims have committed more than 18,000 deadly terrorist attacks since 9-11. Many more attacks have been thwarted. I wonder how many more we'll need to go through before the media and our leaders are finally willing to open the Qur'an and the Hadith and do a serious investigation of Islamic teachings.
The media, of course, are utterly baffled by Martinez's turn to terrorism. AOL News reports:

BALTIMORE–A man pleaded guilty Thursday to attempting to blow up a Maryland military recruiting center as part of a foiled terror plot.
Antonio Martinez, 22, admitted trying to use a weapon of mass destruction to blow up an Armed Forces recruiting center in Catonsville in December 2010, The Baltimore Sun reported Thursday.
The Maryland man, who also uses the name Muhammed Hussain, faces 25 years in prison over the foiled plot after coming to an agreement with prosecutors, the newspaper said.
He was arrested on Dec. 8, 2010, after he attempted to detonate what he believed to be explosives, supplied by federal agents, at the recruiting center.
His lawyer previously claimed that his client had been entrapped and that the bombing plot was designed by the federal government to set up Martinez.
Martinez, a Muslim, allegedly wrote about his support of jihad (holy war) and his desire to go fight in Afghanistan or Pakistan on Facebook, in the months before the foiled attack, according to an FBI informant.
"My dream is to be amongst the ranks of the mujahideen," Martinez allegedly wrote. "Jihad is all I think about when i sleep, when I wake up, sometimes i cry cuz im not there and kaffur [nonbelievers] killing all our brothers and sisters."
Martinez allegedly told the informant in October 2010 that he wanted to "kill them as they killing muslim around the world," an FBI email said. (Source--Fox News)

Like the other accused "homegrown" terrorists before him -- from would-be Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad to Jose Padilla, who admitted to training with al-Qaida -- each new detail about Martinez's life only seems to raise more questions about how a naturalized U.S. citizen from Nicaragua who attended American schools and once tried to join the Army could have allegedly turned to violent jihad before his 22nd birthday. . . .
Before Martinez began posting radical, anti-American messages on his Facebook wall, he worked retail, selling children's clothes in a Maryland shopping mall, according to The Baltimore Sun. Interestingly, one of his former co-workers told the newspaper that Martinez's conversion to Islam came not long after he was newly baptized as a Christian. (Read more at AOL.)

Sunan Ibn Majah 2763—The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever meets Allah with no mark on him (as a result of fighting) in His cause, he will meet Him with a deficiency.”

CNN Conceals Motive Behind Canadian Honor Killings
Yesterday, CNN posted a video about the murders, noting that "interrogations of the family never uncovered a motive." Indeed, the closest CNN comes to identifying a motive in the killings is when the reporter says that the Shafia family comes "from a very conservative Afghan background."
Yes, it's the family's Afghan background, rather than some other background, that is most relevant to this case. At no point in the video does CNN use the words "Islam" or "Muslim."
This is all the more disturbing when we consider that Mohammad Shafia himself, in a recorded conversation, identifies his daughters' betrayal of Islam as his motive for the killings. He declares:
"They betrayed kindness. They betrayed Islam. They betrayed our religion and creed. They betrayed our tradition. They betrayed everything."
Shafia was so confident that his actions were justified, he had absolutely no remorse for killing his daughters:
"God curse their generation, they were filthy and rotten children."
"To hell with them and their boyfriends, may the devil shit on their grave."
“Even if they come back to life a hundred times, if I have a cleaver in my hand, I will cut (them) in pieces.”
Yet CNN remains puzzled about Shafia's motive. I assume CNN is also puzzled about why Muslims commit 91 percent of the world's honor killings. But there's a difference between (a) being puzzled due to ignorance of Islamic teachings, and (b) willfully concealing the stated motive of a group of murderers. By deliberately leaving Islam out of the equation, CNN has joined in the cover up.

Devout Muslim Sunny Islam Raped British Women as Punishment for Being Out at Night
The Qur'an allows Muslim men to rape their female captives, even captives who are married (Qur'an 4:24). Islam also teaches that "good" women are strictly obedient to men (Qur'an 4:34). Should it come as any surprise when a young Muslim man decides to rape "rebellious" non-Muslim women in order to "teach them a lesson" for refusing to submit to Islamic standards of conduct?

United Kingdom--A Muslim man who raped women to 'teach them a lesson' for being on the streets at night was jailed indefinitely today because of the danger he poses to women.
Sunny Islam, 23, who comes from a strict Muslim family, dragged his terrified victims - including a 15-year-old - from the street at knifepoint, bound and assaulted them during a two-month reign of terror.
Police fear that Islam may have attacked many more.
Three of the assaults took place close to his home in Barking, east London, while a fourth occurred in nearby Forest Gate.
Judge Patricia Lees, sentencing him to a minimum of 11 years, said: 'The harm you have done to your victims is incalculable.
'The nature and extent of these offences drives me to the conclusion that you represent an extreme and continuing danger to women, particularly those out at night.'
He was traced through the number plate of his girlfriend's car after he kidnapped and raped the 15-year-old in September 2010.
He grabbed her from behind as she walked home with a friend and bundled her into the car at knifepoint before driving to a secluded spot where he raped her twice despite her claiming she was only 11 years old.
Judge Lees said: 'You told her you were going to "teach her a lesson", and similar things were said to the other women.
'Those words are a chilling indictment of your very troubling attitude towards all of these victims.
'You seem to observe women out at night as not deserving respect or protection.
'I have no doubt that you were out that night looking for a victim, as you were on each of these occasions.' (Read more at Daily Mail.)

Convicted Terrorist Hysen Sherifi Accused of Plotting to Behead Witnesses
If only Hysen Sherifi had learned about Islam from TLC's "All-American Muslim" instead of by reading the Qur'an and Hadith!
RALEIGH, N.C. – A North Carolina man sentenced to prison recently as part of a homegrown terrorist ring has been accused in a federal court document of plotting to kill witnesses who testified against him at trial.
An affidavit unsealed in federal court Monday accuses Hysen Sherifi of plotting against the witnesses from his jail cell. Authorities say an FBI informant posing as a hit man met with Sherifi's brother and a female friend and accepted $5,000 and a photo of an intended victim.
FBI agents have arrested the brother, Shkumbin Sherifi, and Nevine Aly Elshiekh, a school teacher. Now in federal custody at the New Hanover County Jail, each is charged with a felony count of use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire.
Hysen Sherifi, 27, was sentenced to 45 years in prison earlier this month in what prosecutors described as a conspiracy to attack the Marine base at Quantico, Va., and targets abroad. Five others, including construction contractor Daniel Patrick Boyd, have been sentenced to federal prison terms for terrorism charges related to raising money, stockpiling weapons and training in preparation for jihadist attacks. . . .
The Sherifi brothers and other family members emigrated from Kosovo following the wars that ravaged the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s. A call to the Sherifi family home in Raleigh on Tuesday was not returned.
Hysen Sherifi and others arrested in the terrorism conspiracy were members of the Islamic Association of Raleigh, the largest Muslim congregation in the Triangle. Several members of the mosque also routinely made the 4-hour round trip for the trial in New Bern to support the accused, who they described as innocent men being railroaded by overzealous federal authorities. Muslim Football Players in Dearborn Heights Arrested for Assault on Christian Quarterback
I'm not sure what motivated these Muslim players to rip off a quarterback's helmet and beat him senseless, but if their lawyer is claiming that their arrests were racially motivated (Islamophobia, of course), then I will say that the attacks themselves were racially motivated (Christianophobia). Could you imagine the media uproar if four Christian players had given a Muslim quarterback a concussion?
DEARBORN HEIGHTS — A figurative beat down turned literal beating has led to the felony arrests of a group of local high school football players.
Police arrested four Star International Academy seniors Wednesday on aggravated assault charges stemming from an altercation in the team’s last game of the season.
The players -- Mohamed Ahmed, Fanar Al-Alsady, Hadee Attia and Ali Bajjey, all age 17 -- are accused of gang-beating Lutheran Westland’s quarterback as time expired in Lutheran’s 47-6 drubbing of Star on Oct. 21.
According to numerous witness statements gathered by police, Lutheran’s quarterback was set to take a knee to run out the clock. Before the snap, referees told both teams to refrain from contact, police said.
After the snap, however, the four arrested Star players burst through the line and allegedly manhandled Lutheran’s quarterback. Police said they ripped off his helmet, threw him to the ground and punched and kicked him repeatedly. The incident came to an end after coaches, players and refs stepped in and broke it up.
Police took a statement from a referee who said he heard a Star player say to hit the referees after being directed to not hit the other team.
According to published reports, Lutheran’s quarterback suffered a concussion from the beating. (Source)
