Afghan Refugee Muhammad Riyad Goes on Slashing Spree on German Train

Germany took in more than one million refugees in 2015. One of these refugees was an Afghan teenager named Muhammad Riyad. Two weeks ago, Riyad left the refugee center and was welcomed into the home of a German foster family. He responded to the kindness and generosity of the German people by boarding a train and shouting “Allahu Akbar!” while hacking and slashing Germans with an axe and a knife. After fleeing the scene, he was surrounded by German police. He charged the police with his axe, and they shot him dead. Police searched the young man’s room and discovered a homemade ISIS flag. ISIS later released a video of Riyad pledging allegiance to the terrorist group and proclaiming that he was going to die in a suicide attack.

Two-Time Muay Thai World Champion Valdet Gashi Joins Islamic State

Last week, we saw that a U.S. trained Tajikistan special forces colonel had defected to ISIS. Today, reports emerged that two-time Muay Thai world champion Valdet Gashi has joined ISIS, along with some of his students.

If ISIS really has nothing to do with Islam, why are so many Muslims, from so many countries and so many backgrounds, misunderstanding Islam in exactly the same way?

RT—A 29-year-old German kickboxer and two-time Muay Thai world champion of Albanian origin, Valdet Gashi, has joined ISIS and left for Syria to fight for the Islamists, Swiss media reports.

According to the Swiss SRF (Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen) program Rundschau, Gashi joined ISIS in early January 2015 but he had been concealing his whereabouts for several months, so that his family believed he was in Thailand.

SRF journalists managed to reach him via telephone in mid-May. During a 90-minute telephone conversation, Gashi reportedly told journalists that he had a deep and profound understanding of the ISIS ideology and had gotten used to ISIS’s ideas by now.

“I want to do something good and to die while doing it. That is what would make me happy,” he said. He also asked his friends and family not to denounce his decision as “they did not know the whole story,” he Switzerland’s 20 Minuten news.

In Syria, Gashi is taking part in the establishment of a Caliphate, the SRF news network reports. In particular, he patrols an area along a stretch of the Euphrates tracking down smugglers and spies. He operates primarily near the city of Membij, close to the Turkish border.

Some muay thai fans responded to the news about Valdet Gashi joining ISIS by a proposal to deprive him of all his sport titles.

However, it is reported that he had not immediately left for Syria after joining ISIS. Initially, he came to the Swiss town of Winterthur, where he established a sports school named MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Sunna.

There he had trained three young men at the ages from 16 to 20, all of whom along with the sister of the one of the trainees also joined ISIS and left for Syria. All three trainees attended the same mosque in Winterthur, 20 Minuten reported. (Continue Reading.)

German Newspaper Hamburger Morgenpost Firebombed for Reprinting Charlie Hebdo Cartoons

Didn't anyone bother to tell the arsonists that Islam promotes open criticism and free speech, as politicians and the media insist?

Berlin (AFP) - A German tabloid that reprinted cartoons from the French satirical paper Charlie Hebdo lampooning the Prophet Mohammed was targeted in firebombing Sunday, police said.

With security services on high alert after a killing spree in Paris by Islamic extremists, police in the northern German port city of Hamburg said no one was injured in the blaze at the headquarters of the regional daily Hamburger Morgenpost, which caused only slight damage.

"Rocks and then a burning object were thrown through the window," a police spokesman told AFP.

"Two rooms on lower floors were damaged but the fire was put out quickly."

The Hamburger Morgenpost, known locally as the MOPO, had splashed the Charlie Hebdo cartoons on its front page after the massacre at the Paris publication, running the headline "This much freedom must be possible!" (Continue Reading.)

Islamic Polygamy in Germany

This is an interesting documentary (in German, with English subtitles). In the Middle East, Muslim men can only practice polygamy if they are wealthy enough to pay for multiple brides. In Europe, however, second, third, and fourth wives are not recognized by governments, so these women (married in Sharia ceremonies) are officially single mothers. This allows them to receive government benefits both for their asylum status and for being single mothers. With so much Western money pouring into the family, any Muslim can afford multiple wives. Polygamy, then, is now much, much easier (and more affordable) in Europe than in Muslim countries!
