LOUISVILLE, Ky. — An Iraqi man who settled in Kentucky as a refugee boasted about having been an insurgent in Baghdad as he plotted with a confidential informant to ship weapons and money to Al-Qaida in his home country, the FBI said in a search warrant application obtained Monday.
FBI Special Agent Chris Faber quoted 24-year-old Mohanad Shareef Hammadi as saying he didn’t know how many explosives he had placed in Iraq because “By God I didn’t count them.”
“I mean, I used to do two or three operations a day in Baghdad and I used to do every day in my neighborhood,” Hammadi said.
The search warrant, approved Jan. 25 and obtained by The Associated Press as a public record, gives details of recorded conversations between Hammadi, 30-year-old Waad Ramadan Alwan and the confidential source from late 2009 through early summer 2011 in Bowling Green.
Hammadi faces 12 charges, including perjury and attempting to send material support to a known terrorist organization. His trial is scheduled for July 30. Alwan pleaded guilty to 23 terrorism-related charges in December and is to be sentenced April 3.
The warrant also detailed how Hammadi and Alwan acquired what they thought were working weapons, including rocket propelled grenade launchers, C4 explosives and Russian-made surface-to-air missiles, and allegedly plotted to ship those and financial aid to Al-Qaida in Iraq. The FBI said all the weapons were rendered inoperable. (Read more.)

Muslim Immigrant Mohanad Shareef Hammadi Arrested on Terrorism-Related Charges
I can't figure out why so many devout Muslims misinterpret the Religion of Peace in exactly the same way.
Muslim Terrorist Majid Khan Will Testify against other Terrorists as Part of Plea Bargain
Hmmm. Testifying against fellow Muslims in order to get a lighter sentence? Will that reduce the number of virgins he gets in paradise?
FOX NEWS--A former Baltimore resident who has been detained in Guantanamo Bay pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges against him, including murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, spying and providing material support to al Qaeda.
Majid Khan admitted that he was part of the successful plot to bomb the Marriott Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2003, which killed 11 and injured 76. Two victims from the bombing were in the military court in Guantanamo to witness the proceeding.
As part of a plea agreement, Khan is expected to testify against other detainees including the self-described architect of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
Khan's defense team argues that the plea agreement should be kept secret or sealed because releasing the information would put a target on the back of Khan's family and relatives. The prosecution team, led by a lawyer from the Department of Justice, insisted the plea should be made public because so much of the information is already available.
Khan is the first of 14 high-value detainees who were held in the CIA secret prisons to cut a deal. He has promised not to sue the CIA or the U.S. government over his detention. (Read more.)
Sharia Alert: Department of Defense Unveils New Guidelines for Protecting the Quran
Anyone in the military can go to a chaplain and ask for a copy of the Bible. Until recently, anyone in the military could go to a chaplain and ask for a copy of the Qur'an. But things have changed. The Department of Defense is now so worried about how non-Muslims might treat the Qur'an, chaplains are only allowed to give someone a Qur'an if he's already a Muslim and has a Muslim identification badge.
Hmmm. Special protection for the Qur'an? I'm not familiar with that practice under the Constitution. But I seem to recall a legal system that demands special treatment for all things Islamic. What was that legal system again?

Sharia Alert: BBC Director Mark Thompson Admits That Network Treats Islam with More Sensitivity Than Christianity
Say what you want about Islam, but one remarkable feature of its adherents is their ability to get us Westerners to submit to aspects of Sharia without knowing we are submitting to Sharia.
For instance, under Sharia, Islam has a special status and must not be criticized, while Muslims are free to criticize other religions.
In the West, we believe that all positions are open to criticism. You might expect, then, that Western news agencies would insist on fair and unbiased reporting.
Not so, says BBC Director-General Mark Thompson. Islam is different from Christianity, because Muslims take it so seriously, are extremely sensitive about Muhammad, are a minority, and may become violent if provoked. Hence, the BBC gives Islam special treatment over Christianity, and they justify their position with careful explanations, not realizing that the result happens to line up perfectly with Sharia.
Brilliant!

Brilliant!
DAILY MAIL--BBC director-general Mark Thompson has claimed Christianity is treated with far less sensitivity than other religions because it is ‘pretty broad shouldered’.
He suggested other faiths have a ‘very close identity with ethnic minorities’, and were therefore covered in a far more careful way by broadcasters.
But he also revealed that producers had to consider the possibilities of ‘violent threats’ instead of polite complaints if they pushed ahead with certain types of satire.
Mr Thompson said: ‘Without question, “I complain in the strongest possible terms”, is different from, “I complain in the strongest possible terms and I am loading my AK47 as I write”. This definitely raises the stakes.’
But he added that religion as a whole should never receive the same ‘protection and sensitivity’ in the law as race.
Mr Thompson was making his comments during a wide ranging interview about faith and broadcasting, which included the furore provoked by the Corporation’s decision to screen the controversial show Jerry Springer: The Opera on BBC2 in 2005.
Hundreds of Christians rallied outside BBC buildings before and during the broadcast to protest about what they saw as blasphemous scenes such as Jesus Christ wearing a nappy.
At least 45,000 people contacted the BBC to complain about swearing and its irreverent treatment of Christian themes.
Many said that no one would have dreamed of making such a show about the Prophet Mohammed and Islam.
Mr Thompson has now appeared belatedly to accept their argument. In an interview, he said Islam was ‘almost entirely’ practised by people who already may feel in other ways ‘isolated’, ‘prejudiced against’ and who may regard an attack on their religion as ‘racism by other means’.
But he said that Christianity was ‘an established part of our cultural-built landscape’ which meant it was ‘a pretty broad- shouldered religion’.
He conceded that the broadcaster would never have aired a similar show about Mohammed because it could have had the same impact as a piece of ‘grotesque child pornography’.
In the interview posted online for the Free Speech Debate – a research project at Oxford University – Mr Thompson said: ‘The kind of constraints that most people accept around racial hatred, the fact that it may be in certain forms of expression or certain forms of depiction, may be outlawed because of the way in which they go to racial hatred and potentially the promotion and incitement of racial hatred.
‘I think religion should never receive that level of protection or sensitivity.
But I think it is wrong to imagine that it therefore goes into the general swim and that a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed is no more challenging than a debate about what two plus two equals.’
He added: ‘The point is that for a Muslim, a depiction, particularly a comic or demeaning depiction, of the Prophet Mohammed might have the emotional force of a piece of grotesque child pornography.
‘One of the mistakes secularists make is not to understand the character of what blasphemy feels like to someone who is a realist in their religious belief.’ (Read more.)

NATO Agrees to Put Quran Burners on Trial
The Afghan government has announced that two Muslim delegations have met with NATO officials, and that NATO has "promised to meet Afghan nation’s demand of bringing to justice, through an open trial, those responsible for the incident . . ."
Yes, Americans are going to stand trial for burning Qur'ans that were used to spread messages among terrorists.
In other words, NATO has agreed to enforce Sharia.
We might as well give Karzai our lunch money while we're at it.

Joint Statement by the Delegations Assigned to Probe Bagram Incident
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
Following the insulting and shameful act of burning Quran in Bagram airbase that injured the religious sentiments of the Islamic world and particularly of the Afghan Muslim nation, two delegations comprising of representatives from government, the National Council of Ulemma and the National Assembly were assigned and dispatched to investigate the circumstances and causes that have led to the inhumane incident.
The delegations, while deeply touched by the religious sentiments shown by the Afghan Muslim and Mujahid nation, inform our citizens of the following:
1. In view of the particular security situation in the country, we call on all our Muslim citizens of Afghanistan to exercise self-restraint and extra vigilance in dealing with the issue and avoid resorting to protests and demonstrations that may provide ground for the enemy to take advantage of the situation.
2. After the shameful incident by the US soldiers stationed in Bagram, senior NATO and American officials expressed their deep apologies to the Muslim nation of Afghanistan and assured that such incidents will not happen again.
3. NATO officials promised to meet Afghan nation’s demand of bringing to justice, through an open trial, those responsible for the incident and it was agreed that the perpetrators of the crime be brought to justice as soon as possible.
4. The assigned delegations demand from the government of Afghanistan to take over from the Americans the authority of the Bagram prison so no such incidents can recur and calls on the US government to fully and comprehensively cooperate to this end.
5. The delegations also want from the Afghan government to formally praise those brave Afghan army soldiers and all others who showed feelings against the disrespectful act by preventing more religious books and Quran copies from burning, so that the pure Muslim sentiments of our honored Mujahid nation can remain alive.
More Deaths over Qur'an Burning
As we've seen more than once now, many Muslims believe it's a good idea to go on a killing spree if someone burns the Qur'an. It's even good to kill people who had absolutely nothing to do with burning the Qur'an. Burning the Qur'an is such a momentous event, dozens of deaths are minor by comparison.
You'd think that one of our goals in the West would be to convince Muslims that they shouldn't be killing people over burned books. No such luck. When the entire world grovels at the feet of Muslims over the inadvertent burning of the Qur'an, it reinforces the Muslim view. That is, our government shows by its actions that burning the Qur'an is indeed a momentous event, far more important than dozens of deaths.
Perhaps some more apologies will put an end to the violence.

KABUL (Reuters) - A suicide car bomber killed nine people in an attack on a military airport in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, officials said, the latest bloodshed since copies of the Koran were burned at a NATO base last week.
There was no official indication the explosion at the gates of Jalalabad airport was linked to the deadly protests, but the Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack as "revenge" for the Koran burnings.
Nineteen Afghan civilians and law enforcement officers and four NATO soldiers were wounded in the blast, a spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Nangarhar province, of which Jalalabad is the capital, said. . . .
The groundswell of anger over the burning of the Koran, which Muslims revere as the literal word of God, has highlighted the challenges ahead as Western forces try to quell violence and bring about some form of reconciliation with the Taliban.
The violence has killed more than 30 people and wounded at least 200, including two U.S. troops shot dead by an Afghan soldier who joined rallies in the east. Two U.S. officers were also shot at close range inside the Interior Ministry.
In an interview from Rabat, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the violence was "out of hand and it needs to stop". (Read more.)

Islamic Supremacists Win 80 Percent of Seats in Egypt's Upper Parliament
Now that the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafis are making such a strong showing, democracy and religious tolerance are sure to follow.
EGYPT--Islamist parties won more than 80 percent of seats in Egypt's upper house of parliament, the country's election board announced Sunday.
The Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party took 58 percent of the seats in contention, while the harder-line Salafist Al-Nour party came in second with a quarter of all seats. The nationalist Wafd party came in third with just 7 percent of the vote.
The upper house, or Shura Council, has no legislative powers and fulfills a largely ceremonial function. Two-thirds of its 270 are elected, and the rest filled by government appointment.
Voter turnout was low for the upper house, which will hold its first session Tuesday.
Islamists also dominated voting for the lower house of parliament, with the Brotherhood taking 38 percent and Al-Nour 27 percent. (Source)
Muslim Father Attempts to Set Daughter on Fire for Being Too Independent . . . in France
But we should always remember that all cultures are equal. Who are we to judge a man who wants to set his own daughter on fire?
FRANCE--A man was being held by police on Monday after allegedly trying to set fire to his grown-up daughter in central Paris.
Le Parisien newspaper reported that the man sprayed teargas in the young woman's face and then covered her in petrol on Saturday evening.
The father was apparently annoyed that the woman planned to go out with a group of friends that evening and considered her "too emancipated".
The newspaper quoted a source describing him as a "Muslim fundamentalist."
The daughter has a room in a building in the city's 11th arrondissement, close to the Place de la Bastille.
The 49-year-old man went there at around 11.30pm on Saturday evening and started arguing with her in the hall of the building.
He then attacked her with the teargas and poured petrol over her head and face, after which he pulled out a lighter, causing her to scream.
"She managed to grab the lighter from his hands while passers-by heard her screams," said a source close to the inquiry. "The man quickly made a run for it."
The woman told police her father had been harassing her for several weeks. "She explained he was unhappy that she had a Jewish boyfriend," said the source.
Police caught up with the man on Sunday and are questioning him in connection with attempted murder.
The newspaper reported that the man had only recently reconnected with his daughter, after abandoning her as a child.
He had recently taken her to his native country of Tunisia where he had tried to arrange a marriage for her.
She had resisted, while promising to behave in accordance with his wishes back in Paris. (Source)

Retired Fireman David Jones Detained and Harassed at UK Airport for Opposing Sharia
Mr. Jones should be happy that he's not in Pennsylvania, where it is now perfectly legal for Muslims to physically assault someone who offends them.
UNITED KINGDOM--As David Jones arrived at the security gates at Gatwick airport, he was looking forward to getting through swiftly so he could enjoy lunch with his daughters before their flight.
Placing his belongings, including a scarf, into a tray to pass through the X-ray scanner he spotted a Muslim woman in hijab pass through the area without showing her face.
In a light-hearted aside to a security official who had been assisting him, he said: “If I was wearing this scarf over my face, I wonder what would happen.”
The quip proved to be a mistake. After passing through the gates, he was confronted by staff and accused of racism.
As his daughters, who had passed through security, waited in the departure lounge wondering where he was, he was subjected to a one hour stand-off as officials tried to force him to apologize.
Mr Jones, 67, who is the creator of the popular children’s character Fireman Sam, said: “Something like George Orwell’s 1984 now seems to have arrived in Gatwick airport.
"I feel that my rights as an individual have been violated. What I underwent amounts to intimidation and detention. I was humiliated and degraded in full public view.
"I am a 67-year-old pensioner and have lived my life within the law. I do not have even one point on my driving licence.”
He said that when he made his initial remark the security guard had appeared to agree with him, saying: “I know what you mean, but we have our rules, and you aren’t allowed to say that.”
As he went through the metal detecting arch, his artificial hip set off the alarm, prompting a full search from a guard. It was after this, and as he prepared to rejoin his two grown-up daughters, that he was confronted by another guard who said he was being detained because he had made an offensive remark.
“I repeated to her what I had said and told her that I had said nothing racist,” he said. “She took my passport and boarding pass and I was then escorted back through the security zone into the outer area. Here the female security guard proceeded to question me further, inferring many things that I had not said.
“It was impossible to get her to listen to reason. We were then joined by a second female security guard who stated that she was Muslim and was deeply distressed by my comment.
“I again stated that I had not made a racist remark but purely an observation that we were in a maximum security situation being searched thoroughly whilst a woman with her face covered walked through. I made no reference to race or religion. I did not swear or raise my voice.”
According to Mr Jones, who was due to board a British Airways flight to Portugal, where he now lives and runs a restaurant on the Algarve, the British Airways duty manager was then called in and sided with the security staff.
He continued: “I had now been detained for some time and my daughters were worried, calling me on my phone asking what was happening. We were going around in circles. I maintained that I had said nothing offensive and the security guard was continuing to accuse me. This had taken about 15-20 minutes and looked as though it was not going to be resolved.
“I asked the security guard if she was going to charge me to which she said no but I could not leave until I had apologised to the Muslim guard. (Read more.)

Terry Jones to Protest Youcef Nadarkhani's Execution by Burning Qurans
I guess we're about to find out whether Muslims really care about the Qur'an. If they're as sensitive as they claim to be, they'll have to let Youcef Nadarkhani live. Otherwise, Terry Jones is going to reply with a big pile of burned Qur'ans.
CHRISTIAN POST--The organization Stand Up America Now, led and founded by Dr. Terry Jones, revealed on Feb. 22 that it will burn Qurans and images of the prophet Muhammad in protest of the Islamic religion, should Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani be executed for his Christian faith.
The American Center for Law and Justice announced on Tuesday, Feb 21 that the Iranian courts may have issued an execution order for Nadarkhani. Nadarkhani, who has been a pastor at a number of house churches in Iran for the past 10 years, has been imprisoned since Oct. 2009, originally for protesting, but those changes were later controversially changed to apostasy and attempting to evangelize Muslims.
According to the Stand Up America Now website, the organization focuses on many social issues, with a special emphasis on standing up for Christian minorities persecuted in Islamic dominated countries.
On Feb. 23, 2012, Stand Up America Now, based in Gainesville, Fla., protested Islamic Awareness Month at the University of Florida, also located in Gainesville.
The organization's president and founder, Dr. Terry Jones, describes the planned burning of the Quran as a form of protest which would "obviously get Islam's attention," saying that Christians "cannot just stand by and do nothing."
"We have very little that we can do as a Christian community to protest the inhumane activities of Islam," Jones told The Christian Post.
"It's a type of protest to let the government know we are totally disgusted with their type of Shariah, with their activities. In fact, with the activities of Islam over the past 1,400 years," he added. (Read more.)
Iran Launches Bible-Burning Campaign
This was back in August, and the world barely noticed that Iran launched a Bible-burning campaign. Why didn't anyone notice? Perhaps because Christians didn't begin indiscriminately slaughtering Muslims in response to these burnings.
However, there is a religion whose adherents tend to slaughter people over burned books. The difference is striking, especially since we know that all religions are equal.

IRAN--Iranian authorities began to systematically seize and destroy Bibles after a Shiite cleric issued an urgent warning about the spread of Christianity.
Authorities in northwestern Iran seized 6,500 Bibles, according to the Iranian Christian news organization Mohabat News, which quotes an official as saying of the seizure that “all religions are strengthening their power to confront Islam; otherwise, what does this huge number of Bibles mean?” The agency has reported several other recent incidents of Bibles and other Christian literature being seized and sometimes publicly burned.
Mohabat reports that the government-connected cleric, Ayatollah Hadi Jahangosha, warned of “the spread of Christianity among our youth,” pointing to burgeoning satellite programming, literature, and religious articles promoting the Western tradition.
“Everyone in society should feel responsibility in this matter and play his or her role in spreading of pure Islam and fight false and distorted cultures,” the news agency quotes him as saying. (Source)

Kira Davis Apologizes to President Karzai over Quran Burnings
Absolutely brilliant. Wish I had thought of it.
Afghanistan Demands NATO Put Qur'an-Burners on Trial
And according to Karzai, NATO has agreed.
KABUL (Reuters) - Afghanistan wants NATO to put on public trial those who burned copies of the Koran at a NATO base, President Hamid Karzai's office said on Thursday, after a third day of bloody protests over the incident.
It said NATO had agreed to a trial, but that could not be immediately confirmed.
Karzai had earlier accused a U.S. officer of "ignorantly" burning copies of the Koran, in an incident that has deepened anti-Western sentiment in a country NATO is trying to stabilize before foreign combat troops leave by the end of 2014.
Demonstrations have drawn thousands of angry Afghans to the streets, chanting "Death to America!" amid violence that has killed 11 people including two U.S. service personnel.
"NATO officials, in response to a request for the trial and punishment of the perpetrators ... promised this crime will brought to court as soon as possible," Karzai's office said in a statement. (Read more.)

Sharia Alert: Pennsylvania Judge Dismisses Charges against Muslim Who Assaulted Atheist
The "Parading Atheists of Pennsylvania" act about 20 years younger than they are, and it's surprising to see what passes for "criticism" nowadays.
Nevertheless, in the United States, being offensive is perfectly legal . . . unless you're in Pennsylvania, where Muslims are now free to enforce Sharia against people who mock Muhammad.
Judge Mark Martin dismissed charges against a Muslim named Talaag Elbayomy, who physically attacked an atheist dressed as Muhammad. In ruling against the atheist, Judge Martin sent a double message: (1) criticism of Muhammad will not be tolerated, and (2) assaulting critics of Muhammad will be tolerated.
If things don't work out for Judge Martin in Pennsylvania, I'm sure Dearborn would give him a job.

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Sentenced to Death for Apostasy in Iran
Meanwhile, Muslims in the West are complaining about Islamophobia.
And for all the doubters, here's what Islam teaches about apostates:
IRAN--A trial court in Iran has issued its final verdict, ordering a Christian pastor to be put to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, according to sources close to the pastor and his legal team.
Supporters fear Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old father of two who was arrested over two years ago on charges of apostasy, may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years.
It is unclear whether Nadarkhani can appeal the execution order.
“The world needs to stand up and say that a man cannot be put to death because of his faith,” said Jordan Sekulow, executive director of The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).
“This one case is not just about one execution. We have been able to expose the system instead of just letting one man disappear, like so many other Christians have in the past.” (Read more.)

James White vs. MuslimByChoice on "Islamophobia"
MuslimByChoice once again brought some spitballs to a gunfight. The depth of Islamic apologetics has never been impressive, and it's only getting worse.
I hope James is rejoicing that Muslims are resorting to silly personal attacks against him. It means they're worried about the impact he's making. But since they can't respond rationally, they're forced to respond irrationally. The result is a childish display of sheer desperation.

General John Allen Apologizes to the "Noble People of Afghanistan" over Burned Qur'ans
If only Muslims got as upset over the rape and slaughter of non-Muslims as they get over burned Qur'ans, we might see some unparalleled moral progress in the Muslim world.
It seems the Qur'ans were being used to pass notes among "extremists." Shockingly, I opened several of my Qur'ans and found numerous extremist notes, such as:
Now for the double standards:
It seems the Qur'ans were being used to pass notes among "extremists." Shockingly, I opened several of my Qur'ans and found numerous extremist notes, such as:
Qur’an 5:51—O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
Qur’an 9:73—O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination.
Qur’an 9:111—Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain.
Qur’an 9:123—O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).
Qur’an 47:35—Be not weary and fainthearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds.
Qur’an 48:29—Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.
Qur’an 98:6—Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures.
Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Religious materials -- including Qurans that were burned at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan, sparking Afghan protests -- were removed from the library of a detainee center "because of extremist inscriptions" on them, a military official said Tuesday.
There was "an appearance that these documents were being used to facilitate extremist communications," a military official said.
"Additionally, some of the documents were extremist in and of themselves, apparently originating from outside of Afghanistan," the official said.
The official said the material was burned, but authorities are attempting to determine how much.
The uproar prompted Gen. John Allen, commander of NATO's International Security Assistance Force, to issue a directive "that all coalition forces in Afghanistan will complete training in the proper handling of religious materials no later than March 3," the NATO-led force said...
The training will include "the identification of religious materials, their significance, correct handling and storage," according to the statement from coalition forces. (Read more.)

No Jihad Threat in the U.S.?
Here's an excellent article by our lawyers at the American Freedom Law Center.
Now, here’s an interesting story that developed over the weekend. A homegrown Muslim Moroccan, who thought he had been armed by Al Qaeda operatives, was actually faux-armed by the feds, thank God. But, think about this story–Muslims IN THE US, living here, having grown up here, waking up one day and deciding to join the jihad to destroy American and the West. Think about this. . . .
On July 10, 2001 (yes, that’s right, 2001), the New York Times published an op-ed by a former State Department “counter-terrorism expert” who says Americans are too fixated on the threat from Muslim terrorists.
On Sept. 11, 2001, 19 Muslim jihadists murdered 2,985 people on American soil.
On Feb. 7, 2012, the New York Times published a news article hyping a pseudo study by some university professors with an agenda claiming that Muslim terrorism in the US is overblown and hardly a threat.
But, let’s look at just the first graphic of this so-called study of “jihad risk” in America:
So, the authors of this so-called study tell us that since there were only 20 known terrorist attacks plotted on our soil in 2011, and only about an average of 20 per year for every year since 2001, there really is no threat from domestic Islamic terrorism. But, following this absurd logic, at the end of 2001, we should have just sighed a big breath of relief because there were only three known attacks that year (the WTC, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania), far less than today’s 20 attacks, which they tell us poses no real threat.
The idiocy of these college professors is that they don’t value human life. Three attacks murdered nearly 3,000 people. Homegrown jihad is a threat because any jihadist can murder thousands, if not tens of thousands, precisely because that is what they are trained to do.
Compare this idiotic faux-study with one published in the Summer of 2011. In a peer-reviewed journal, the Mapping Sharia empirical study of representative mosques across the US found that 80 percent of US mosques are preaching and teaching violence and jihad against the infidel West. Full disclosure: AFLC’s David Yerushalmi was a co-author of this study.
Now, tell us again, sharia and homegrown jihad is not a real threat?

Afghan Bride Sets Herself on Fire to Escape Abuse
But who are we to judge other cultures?
KABUL, Feb. 15 (Xinhua) -- "I have knocked any door to get rid of violence but all of my complaints have fallen to deaf ears. Instead, the prosecutor accused me of lying and warned me of dire consequence," a woman named Sadat revealed her ordeal in a weak voice while receiving treatment in Herat hospital.
The bandaged wrapped image of the young woman showed by the private Tolo television on Wednesday tells of the nightmare she had faced in her in-laws home.
Sadat, 15, is a native of Herat province 640 km west of Afghan capital Kabul. She married a man five months ago, hoping to start a happy new life.
"I got married to a man in Sawa village of Anjil district five months ago. My husband and my father-in-law had beaten me without any reason several times. The repeated mistreatment had forced me to complain, but all in vain as the prosecutor in Herat city overlooked my petition and warned me to either withdraw the complaint or face imprisonment," the badly injured bride told Xinhua from her bed in hospital.
"The last time I sought justice on Monday, the prosecutor again warned me of dire consequence if I refuse to withdraw my complaints.
"Such behavior left me with no choice but self-immolation because it was the only way to get rid of violence and insult," the severely burned lady murmured in her bed.
The doctor treating her in Herat hospital was skeptical of her recovery. (Read more.)

Moroccan Muslim Amine Khalifi Arrested During Attempt to Blow up U.S. Capitol
Like dozens of other terrorist attempts that have been thwarted over the past few years, the terrorist in this case turned out to be a follower of the Religion of Peace. But it could just as easily have been a Quaker or a Methodist attempting to blow up the Capitol, since all religions teach the same thing and are equally dangerous.
Washington (CNN) -- U.S. Capitol Police and the FBI on Friday arrested a Moroccan man who was planning a suicide attack on the Capitol, police and a federal law enforcement official said.
Authorities identified the man as Amine Khalifi.
He received what he thought was a vest with explosives, but the materials in the vest had been rendered inoperable by law enforcement, Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said.
The man was arrested as soon as he accepted the vest from undercover officers, according to the federal law enforcement source.
Khalifi was also given a gun, which was similarly rendered inoperable, the official said.
The 29-year-old suspect was living in Alexandria, Virginia, and was in the United States illegally, the source said.
The man had been closely monitored as part of a lengthy and extensive undercover operation, police said, adding that U.S. Capitol Police had been "intimately" involved in the investigation.
The public was never in danger, police said.
The official said the person is not connected to a terrorist organization and was acting alone. He came to the attention of law enforcement because of his extremist views, the source said. (Source)
Canadian Teens Being Exposed to Islamic Extremism
If the extremists are such a tiny minority in Islam, how come they have global influence, and how come they aren't immediately confronted by all the peaceful Muslims?
TORONTO — A newly released intelligence report warns that teenagers are being exposed to Islamist extremism in Canadian high schools.
In an Intelligence Assessment, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service says that in two recent cases, suspects charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act “appear to have been radicalized in part while attending Canadian secondary school institutions.” While high school years are a time of “exploration and idealism,” the report says “exposure to violent ideologies at this potentially vulnerable stage can set in motion a series of developments that can lead to actual acts of violence.” (Read more.)

Woman "Honor" Kills Daughter for Suspected Affair, Hospital Says Girl Was Still Virgin
This girl was killed over a rumor. And yet people like Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller are labeled "racists," "bigots," and "fear-mongers" for calling for young girls to be protected.
WEST BANK--A Palestinian mother waited for her 16-year-old daughter to go to bed, tied a rope around her neck and strangled her to death. The woman murdered her own daughter after neighbours lied to her that the girl had an affair with their son.
The crime, which moved local residents, had remained underground for a while before it was revealed by police and a Palestinian female activist, who described it as “one of the most heinous criminal acts” in Palestine.
Just before the girl was buried, her aging grandmother (father’s mother), swayed slowly towards the coffin with tears rolling on her wrinkled skin, pulled out the girl’s hair and tied a white tape around it.
“This is more than a symbol of her chastity and purity…it is a proof,” the grandmother said to the mourners.
“Oh, my grandchild….go to your Lord because you will find rest and tranquility there…He is the one who can take revenge for you.”
The crime took place in Bait Oula, a tiny village in the West Bank town of Hebron and it was publicized several weeks after it was perpetrated by the mother.
Residents, who spoke to the Palestinian Arabic language daily Donia Al Watan, said the mother had already been cruel to her daughter as she used to force her to do all household work because she does not like female offspring.
It was this cruelty that made her rush and murder the girl without bothering to check if what neighbours said about her daughter was true.
“Just go and see your daughter’s pictures on my son’s mobile phone,” the neighbouring woman told the mother after an argument, according to the paper.
“The mother then started her plan to kill her daughter…residents said she had made her daughter clean the house for two days so the family will be prepared to receive would-be mourners on their daughter’s death.”
After the murder, the family left the girl in her bed all the night. In the morning, they went straight to hospital and said their daughter had died of heart attack.
“But doctors noticed the swelling in her neck and that her body was bluish….they informed the authorities, who later wrested a confession about the murder…the mother said she killed her to wash off shame and clean the family’s honour….a day later, hospital tests showed the girl was still virgin and pure….it was a hasty crime of honour, which has never been marred or even touched.” (Source)

Michigan Lecture on Terrorism Evacuated Due to Bounty on Speaker
Western Muslims tell us that our worries about Islamic violence are absurd. And yet we're not even free to discuss Islamic violence. Seems to prove the point, doesn't it?
Bounty on speaker clears HS auditorium: woodtv.com
ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) - The Allegan High School auditorium was evacuated Thursday evening after authorities became aware of a bounty on the head of a speaker scheduled to appear at an event there.
Allegan Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Harness said the auditorium had been rented out for an event paid for by Allegan County Commissioner Bill Sage. It was not a school event.
The speaker was Kamal Saleem. Saleem claims he is a former terrorist. He travels around the country speaking at events.
Just before the event, police were made aware of a $25 million bounty on Saleem's head by Sage, authorities said.
Saleem's bodyguard told police that Islamic terrorists who follow the teaching of the Quran that have been directed to behead Saleem.
Allegan Police Chief Rick Hoyer told 24 Hour News 8 said that when police learned that information, they felt they did not have enough officers to make the event safe.
"We did not have adequate info to provide a safe environment for this event," Hoyer said.
Hoyer said that attendees did not want to leave the event at first.
"People in the audience were upset. They were concerned we were trying to censor them," said Hoyer. "We assured them we were not trying to censor them or step on their First amendment rights."
There were 3 other school-sponsored sporting events at which students were present going on in the school at the time of the event. Attendees of those sporting events were not evacuated.
Sage's event was called "Constituting Michigan - Founding Principles Act." The event was scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
According to a web page administered by Sage, Saleem was going to speak about his life as a hired terrorist and committing acts against the United States.
Rep. Dave Agema of Michigan's 74th District was also scheduled to speak about a bill called American Law for American Courts -- labeled HB4769 -- which states that only American constitutional law may be used in American courts. (Source)
Three Stages of Jihad (LiveLeak)
I've been transferring my videos to LiveLeak as a backup. Most of you have already watched my "Three Stages of Jihad" video. However, if you get a chance, please watch it again on LiveLeak. I need to start building up hits and subscribers so that when YouTube eventually removes my channel, the transition won't be so messy. (Plus, the material in the video is essential, so it's good to watch it more than once.)
On a positive note, LiveLeak allows us to provide far more text with a video than YouTube does. Hence, I was able to post the video along with the material from my "Jihad" tab.

Welcome to ShariaTube . . . Again
YouTube just removed my video "ABC's Islam Deception: Raisins or Virgins in Paradise?" Since several people mirrored the video, you can watch it on someone else's account here to see whether it conflicts with any of YouTube's policies:
Now for the interesting part. YouTube gave me an "explanation" of the policies my video violated. They sent me a message which said:
If you attempt to click on my original video, you'll see this message:
Now if you watched the video, did you see any "misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails designed to increase views"? No. Did you see "large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages"? No. You saw a video exposing a false claim made by ABC News. If open discussion is no longer allowed on YouTube, tens of thousands of videos should be taken down.
There's only one possible explanation of YouTube's removal of my video (along with their nonsensical reason for doing so). YouTube is once again removing content critical of Islam. They started this process last summer when they removed our "Sharia in the U.S." video, which you can watch on a mirror site here:
I posted a response video, titled "Welcome to ShariaTube":
Since YouTube gave me a "warning strike" after removing my "raisins" video, and since dozens of my other videos follow the exact same format, my account could be removed at any moment. Daniel Wallace: Early New Testament Manuscripts Discovered
Muslims claim that the Bible has been corrupted. If Muslims are correct, we would expect earlier manuscripts to conflict significantly with later manuscripts. Alas! No matter how early we go in the manuscript tradition (even back to the first century, it now seems!), all we ever find is confirmation of the Bible we have today.
Daniel B. Wallace is the founder and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts. He recently made an interesting announcement about some new discoveries.
Daniel B. Wallace is the founder and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts. He recently made an interesting announcement about some new discoveries.
DALLAS THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY--On 1 February 2012, I debated Bart Ehrman at UNC Chapel Hill on whether we have the wording of the original New Testament today. This was our third such debate, and it was before a crowd of more than 1000 people. I mentioned that seven New Testament papyri had recently been discovered—six of them probably from the second century and one of them probably from the first. These fragments will be published in about a year.
These fragments now increase our holdings as follows: we have as many as eighteen New Testament manuscripts from the second century and one from the first. Altogether, more than 43% of all New Testament verses are found in these manuscripts. But the most interesting thing is the first-century fragment.
It was dated by one of the world’s leading paleographers. He said he was ‘certain’ that it was from the first century. If this is true, it would be the oldest fragment of the New Testament known to exist. Up until now, no one has discovered any first-century manuscripts of the New Testament. The oldest manuscript of the New Testament has been P52, a small fragment from John’s Gospel, dated to the first half of the second century. It was discovered in 1934.
Not only this, but the first-century fragment is from Mark’s Gospel. Before the discovery of this fragment, the oldest manuscript that had Mark in it was P45, from the early third century (c. AD 200–250). This new fragment would predate that by 100 to 150 years.
How do these manuscripts change what we believe the original New Testament to say? We will have to wait until they are published next year, but for now we can most likely say this: As with all the previously published New Testament papyri (127 of them, published in the last 116 years), not a single new reading has commended itself as authentic. Instead, the papyri function to confirm what New Testament scholars have already thought was the original wording or, in some cases, to confirm an alternate reading—but one that is already found in the manuscripts. As an illustration: Suppose a papyrus had the word “the Lord” in one verse while all other manuscripts had the word “Jesus.” New Testament scholars would not adopt, and have not adopted, such a reading as authentic, precisely because we have such abundant evidence for the original wording in other manuscripts. But if an early papyrus had in another place “Simon” instead of “Peter,” and “Simon” was also found in other early and reliable manuscripts, it might persuade scholars that “Simon” is the authentic reading. In other words, the papyri have confirmed various readings as authentic in the past 116 years, but have not introduced new authentic readings. The original New Testament text is found somewhere in the manuscripts that have been known for quite some time.
These new papyri will no doubt continue that trend. But, if this Mark fragment is confirmed as from the first century, what a thrill it will be to have a manuscript that is dated within the lifetime of many of the eyewitnesses to Jesus’ resurrection! (Source)

Muslims Murder Apostate in Somalia
Muslim organizations will condemn the murder in three, two . . . What's that? They're too busy complaining about imaginary persecution in America to care about Christians who are facing actual persecution in the Muslim world? Why is no one surprised?
NAIROBI, Kenya – Islamic extremists from the rebel al Shabaab militia in Somalia beheaded a Christian on the outskirts of Mogadishu last month, sources said.
The militants fighting the transitional government in Mogadishu murdered Zakaria Hussein Omar, 26, on Jan. 2 in Cee-carfiid village, about 15 kilometers (nine miles) outside of the Somali capital, they said. Omar had worked for a Christian humanitarian organization that al Shabaab banned last year.
His body was left lying for 20 hours before nomads found it and carried it into Mogadishu, a close friend said.
“We have been communicating with Omar, and he was sharing with me his life as a Christian,” the friend said. “Last year he mentioned to me that his life was in danger when the NGO [Non-Governmental Organization] he worked for was banned by the al Shabaab.”
The friend said he identified the body.
“One of the persons who saw him said, ‘This is the young man who stayed in Ethiopia, and people have been saying that he left Islam and joined Christianity.’”
Omar converted to Christianity seven years ago while in Ethiopia, where he lived with relatives. He returned to Somalia in 2008 and completed his university education in 2009 with a degree in accounting.
Omar had married in the latter part of 2010. He is survived by his wife, his parents (originally from central Somalia), a brother and four sisters. (Read more.)
Rape Scandals Covered Up at International Islamic University
But Muslims keep telling us that Islam will save the West from immorality.
Notice the university president said that he didn't go to police because it "would have brought a bad name to the university." It seems that Islam doesn't reduce immorality at all. Islam simply encourages people to cover up immorality.

ISLAMABAD: Sex scandals have rocked the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in recent months, with several faculty and staff members accused of preying upon the vulnerable female students or juniors.
Many connected with the university admit that “seedy affairs had been going on in the holy precincts” for some time. But they did not speak on record.
Acting president Sahabzada Sajidur Rehman of the university, however, confirmed that recently a professor and a librarian left the university after allegations of rape emerged against them.
“We did not approach the police to investigate the allegations as it would have brought a bad name to the university and set parents of the 9,500 girls studying here worrying,” he told Dawn on Thursday.
Sources in the university claimed that the professor of economics department used to offer his victims “good marks” in examinations in return for sex. He would even force himself upon the unwilling with threats of failing her.
It was shocking to hear the president of the University Staff Welfare Association, Chaudhry Mohammad Nazir, say “the situation is far worse than what you know”. (Read more.)

Saudis Use Interpol to Have Journalist Arrested for Criticizing Muhammad
This is horrifying. Interpol (International Criminal Police Organization) is a worldwide network of police departments established to help countries capture criminals who cross borders. Saudi Arabia recently used an Interpol alert to have Hamza Kashgari arrested in Malaysia, where he fled for his life after Saudis began calling for his death. By helping the Saudis capture Kashgari, Interpol has become an international Sharia enforcement unit. People who flee the Muslim world to escape punishment can now be rounded up by Interpol and returned to their countries to face Islamic penalties for apostasy, criticizing Muhammad, etc.
THE GUARDIAN--Interpol has been accused of abusing its powers after Saudi Arabia used the organisation's red notice system to get a journalist arrested in Malaysia for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
Police in Kuala Lumpur said Hamza Kashgari, 23, was detained at the airport "following a request made to us by Interpol" the international police cooperation agency, on behalf of the Saudi authorities.
Kashgari, a newspaper columnist, fled Saudi Arabia after posting a tweet on the prophet's birthday that sparked more than 30,000 responses and several death threats. The posting, which was later deleted, read: "I have loved things about you and I have hated things about you and there is a lot I don't understand about you … I will not pray for you."
More than 13,000 people joined a Facebook page titled "The Saudi People Demand the Execution of Hamza Kashgari".
Clerics in Saudi Arabia called for him to be charged with apostasy, a religious offence punishable by death. Reports suggest that the Malaysian authorities intend to return him to his native country.
Kashgari's detention has triggered criticism by human rights groups of Malaysia's decision to arrest the journalist and of Interpol's cooperation in the process.
Jago Russell, the chief executive of the British charity Fair Trials International, which has campaigned against the blanket enforcement of Interpol red notices, said: "Interpol should be playing no part in Saudi Arabia's pursuit of Hamza Kashgari, however unwise his comments on Twitter.
"If an Interpol red notice is the reason for his arrest and detention it would be a serious abuse of this powerful international body that is supposed to respect basic human rights (including to peaceful free speech) and to be barred from any involvement in religious or political cases." Ayaan Hirsi Ali: The Global War on Christians in the Muslim World
At last, the mainstream media has stopped complaining about imaginary "Islamophobia" long enough to discuss actual persecution.
NEWSWEEK--We hear so often about Muslims as victims of abuse in the West and combatants in the Arab Spring’s fight against tyranny. But, in fact, a wholly different kind of war is underway—an unrecognized battle costing thousands of lives. Christians are being killed in the Islamic world because of their religion. It is a rising genocide that ought to provoke global alarm.
The portrayal of Muslims as victims or heroes is at best partially accurate. In recent years the violent oppression of Christian minorities has become the norm in Muslim-majority nations stretching from West Africa and the Middle East to South Asia and Oceania. In some countries it is governments and their agents that have burned churches and imprisoned parishioners. In others, rebel groups and vigilantes have taken matters into their own hands, murdering Christians and driving them from regions where their roots go back centuries.
The media’s reticence on the subject no doubt has several sources. One may be fear of provoking additional violence. Another is most likely the influence of lobbying groups such as the Organization of Islamic Cooperation—a kind of United Nations of Islam centered in Saudi Arabia—and the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Over the past decade, these and similar groups have been remarkably successful in persuading leading public figures and journalists in the West to think of each and every example of perceived anti-Muslim discrimination as an expression of a systematic and sinister derangement called “Islamophobia”—a term that is meant to elicit the same moral disapproval as xenophobia or homophobia.
But a fair-minded assessment of recent events and trends leads to the conclusion that the scale and severity of Islamophobia pales in comparison with the bloody Christophobia currently coursing through Muslim-majority nations from one end of the globe to the other. The conspiracy of silence surrounding this violent expression of religious intolerance has to stop. Nothing less than the fate of Christianity—and ultimately of all religious minorities—in the Islamic world is at stake. (Read more.)

Egyptian Cleric Mazen Sirsawi Calls for Death Penalty for Apostates and Heretics
I guess he didn't get the memo that Islam promotes Western values. But not to worry. If Western politicians and news anchors keep telling us that Islam is a religion of peace, I'm sure Muslim clerics like Mazen Sirsawi will eventually start believing it.
Younus Abdullah Mohammad Pleads Guilty to Threatening South Park Creators
I ran into Younus at the "Salute Israel" parade a few years ago. He called me a "douche bag." I challenged him to a debate via email, but he ended up saying some nasty things about my mom instead. The sad part is that, if you read the Muslim sources, you find that Islam encourages this sort of behavior.
VIRGINIA--A Muslim convert charged with communicating threats to "South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker is pleading guilty.
The Thursday hearing in a Virginia federal court found Younus Abdullah Mohammad, whose real name is Jesse Curtis Morton, facing charges for the incendiary material he put on his website, Revolution Muslim.
The matter stems from an April 2010 episode of "South Park" in which the Prophet Muhammad was depicted in a bear suit, igniting threats from Morton and two of the website's co-operators. Both of the others were arrested and charged with terrorism a month later, prompting Morton to flee the United States that summer.
He was taken into U.S. custody in Morocco in October, and has since remained in jail, awaiting trial. One of his associates, Zachary Adam Chesser, was sentenced to 25 years in prison last year for the online threats and attempting to provide information to foreign terrorist organizations.
Morton's guilty plea includes admissions to conspiracy, communicating threats and using the Internet to intimidate.
Beyond taking aim at Stone and Parker, CNN reports a counter-terrorism official referred to Revolution Muslim as the "top catalyst for radicalization for violence in the United States" over the last several years. (Source)
Osama Bin Laden Returns in Zombie Film "Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead"
And we know that, since Muslims don't support terrorism, they won't be offended by this movie.
ABC NEWS--A Utah production company announced today that it has shot a movie based on the premise that Osama bin Laden rises from his watery grave and leads an army of zombie terrorists in a violent jihad of the undead.
In the feature-length film, "Osombie: The Axis of Evil Dead," a NATO Special Forces unit races to defeat zombie bin Laden and his flesh-seeking militia, while also stopping the infection from spreading to even more terrorist corpses.
According to the film's executive producer, Kynan Griffin, the script was written before the real al Qaeda leader was killed last May; once that happened, Griffin said, it was "too good to pass up."
"We've just had a lot of fun with it," Griffin said. "We had some great special effects makeup people that had done a lot of Hollywood work. Lots of actions, lots of zombie violence." (Read more.)
Sheikh Nasser al-Omar Calls for Execution of Hamza Kashgari for "Shameful" Comments about Muhammad on Twitter
Could anyone imagine the international uproar if a Christian pastor started demanding the death sentence for Muslims who say that Jesus isn't God? But when a Muslim sheikh demands the death penalty for a man who speaks against Muhammad, no one is surprised.
THE DAILY BEAST--Last week, just before the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birth, Hamza Kashgari, a 23-year-old Saudi writer in Jidda, took to his Twitter feed to reflect on the occasion.
“On your birthday, I will say that I have loved the rebel in you, that you’ve always been a source of inspiration to me, and that I do not like the halos of divinity around you. I shall not pray for you,” he wrote in one tweet.
“On your birthday, I find you wherever I turn. I will say that I have loved aspects of you, hated others, and could not understand many more,” he wrote in a second.
“On your birthday, I shall not bow to you. I shall not kiss your hand. Rather, I shall shake it as equals do, and smile at you as you smile at me. I shall speak to you as a friend, no more,” he concluded in a third.
Twitter quickly flooded with responses to Kashgari, registering more than 30,000 within a day. He was accused of blasphemy, and enraged Saudis called for his death. By the time he removed the tweets and issued a long apology, backtracking on his comments and begging for forgiveness, the danger had already expanded beyond the Web. Someone posted Kashgari’s home address in a YouTube video, and, his friends say, vigilantes came looking for him at his local mosque. The Saudi information minister banned Kashgari’s local newspaper column and barred outlets across the country from publishing his work. Nasser al-Omar, an influential cleric, called for him to be tried in a Sharia court for apostasy, which is punishable by death. Other leading clerics decried Kashgari on their own, and Saudi Arabia’s council of senior scholars issued a rare and harshly worded communiqué condemning him and his tweets and demanding that he be put on trial. Yesterday, Saudi Arabia’s leading news site, SABQ, reported that the king himself had issued a warrant for Kashgari’s arrest.
With the pressure mounting, Kashgari fled to Southeast Asia earlier today. Hours later, in his first interview with the press, he told The Daily Beast that he was stunned by the turn of events but resigned to the fact that he can never return home. “It’s impossible. No way,” he said. “I’m afraid, and I don’t know where to go.” Kashgari says he is now planning to apply for asylum abroad. (Read more.)
UK Muslims Challenge Law against Marrying Child Brides
Muhammad had sex with Aisha before she reached puberty, when she was only nine years old. The Qur'an allows men to have sex with prepubescent girls. Not surprisingly, many Muslims are dissatisfied with Western laws that protect young girls.

Pamela Geller: Fox News Whitewashes "Honor" Killing
Wow. The media covering for Islam. Who'da thunk it?
WORLD NEWS DAILY--Last Thursday, Fox News Detroit aired a revealing segment on my AFDI/SIOA Jessica Mokdad Human Rights Conference on honor killing and Islamic law, which will be held on April 29 in Dearborn, Mich. The segment was originally supposed to air last Sunday, the day that the multiple first-degree murder verdict came down in the Shafia mass honor killing in Canada, but was inexplicably delayed. The segment focused on the fact that Mokdad family members, one in particular, are livid that we are using Jessica’s name in connection with “honor killing.” Various female Mokdad family members, including Jessica’s “stepmother,” Cassandra Mokdad, alleged that Jessica’s murder was not an honor killing, despite the overwhelming evidence that it was.
The report was typical for the mainstream media and unworthy of Fox, which, while not perfect, is generally much better than its competitors: Reporter Alexis Wiley doesn’t bother to give even a shred of the evidence that it was an honor killing, and instead gives the impression that it is something I am making up. She doesn’t mention that initial reports were quite clear – a shocking thing for the mainstream media – that her stepfather killed Jessica because she “wasn’t following Islam” (report from TwinCities.com) and was “not adhering to Muslim customs” (Star Tribune).
Arab American News reported that the last recorded dispute between Jessica Mokdad and her stepfather was over the wearing of the hijab (head scarf), which he originally forced her to wear (just as in the honor murder of Canadian teen Aqsa Parvez). Jessica didn’t want to wear it, thereby bringing shame on him and the family. Her stepfather, Rahim Alfetlawi, who murdered her, was pathologically controlling, after the pattern of honor killers. At one point Jessica called her father and told him: “Dad, I can’t live here anymore; he’s too strict. I can’t even go to the store to buy a pop if I want.”
Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Bill Contaldo said: “He thought she was becoming too Westernized. I think this was a very nice young lady wanting to experiment with Western culture without control and without abuse.” The Detroit Free Press reported: “Mokdad’s mother told police that Alfetlawi felt so shamed by her daughter’s Western ways. He killed her in an honor killing, Warren Police Sgt. Stephen Mills said.” Alfetlawi was so concerned about her behavior that he even forced her to go to a mosque and marry her boyfriend.
The Daily Mail reported this from London: “Devout Muslim stalks his stepdaughter over four states before killing her for being too Western.” The Daily Tribune reported: “Stepfather charged with murder in Warren, upset victim didn’t adhere to Muslim customs.”
And Alexis Wiley’s own previous report for Fox Detroit reported it as an honor killing as well: Wiley reported, “He forced her to wear a traditional head scarf instead of allowing her to make that decision on her own, and when she stopped wearing a scarf, friends say he became furious.” But last week on Fox and in the accompanying print report, Wiley gave no hint of the existence of these reports or her own. Why? Who is paying off Alexis Wiley? Or is it that she is scared, intimidated, afraid to “offend Islam”? Or is it that her political correctness makes it impossible to think of Muslims as anything but victims?
But in that case, why doesn’t Jessica Mokdad matter? (Read more.)

Michigan Federal Judge Denies Dearborn’s Request to Dismiss Our Civil Rights Case
Dearborn police threw us in jail for having a peaceful discussion with Muslims at a public festival. They also took us into custody two days later for attempting to distribute copies of the Gospel of John outside the festival. The police seized our cameras for nearly a month and filed false police reports, while the mayor waged a smear-campaign against us. The city of Dearborn then had the nerve to try to have our civil case thrown out of court, arguing that police had "probable cause" to arrest us! Fortunately, our lawyers do not know the meaning of "sleep," and the judge saw through the city's attempt.
For those who haven't seen it, here's the unedited footage of our arrests:
And here's what happened two days later, when we attempted to pass out materials outside the festival:
For more on Dearborn, click here.
MICHIGAN--A U.S. District Court Judge in Detroit, Michigan denied the City of Dearborn’s request to dismiss the civil rights claims brought by several Christian missionaries arising out of their arrests by City police officers in 2010. The Christians were arrested by City police officers while preaching to Muslims at the City’s Arab Festival. The Christians spent the night in jail and were then charged and tried for “breaching the peace.” American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) Senior Counsel Robert J. Muise won acquittals from a jury for all the Christian defendants at the conclusion of the criminal trial.
Following the acquittals, Muise, along with AFLC Senior Counsel David Yerushalmi, filed a 96-page civil rights lawsuit against the City, its mayor, John B. O’Reilly, its chief of police, Ronald Haddad, 17 City police officers, and two executives from the American Arab Chamber of Commerce on behalf of Acts 17 Apologetics, Dr. Nabeel Qureshi, David Wood, Paul Rezkalla, and Josh Hogg—the Christians whose rights were violated by the City officials. [Read more about this lawsuit and watch the stunning videos of the arrests of the Christians here].
Muise commented, “The judge’s ruling today is a huge victory for these Christians. It allows the civil rights claims for the most egregious constitutional violations to proceed against the City and its officials. AFLC is committed to ensuring that our Constitution and not sharia law, which makes it a crime to preach the Gospel to Muslims, is the supreme law in this country.”
In their motion, the City had argued that the state court judge’s finding in the criminal proceeding that the police officers had probable cause to arrest the Christians based on a complaint from festival worker Roger Williams effectively immunized the City of Dearborn and the individual defendants from civil suit. Muise and Yerushalmi, on behalf of the Christians, countered by arguing that the ruling does not preclude the civil rights claims because it was based upon fabricated allegations and besides, the Christians did not have a full and fair opportunity to challenge the claims in the police reports prior to the ruling. The federal judge agreed with the AFLC attorneys.
In his ruling, U.S. District Court Judge Stephen J. Murphy, III, stated, “It is a reasonable inference from their allegations that [City officials] knew Williams’ complaint was pretextual.” The federal judge noted that “[t]he indirect evidence of this conspiracy that was developed in state court and is already a part of the record in this case—including the videos and the testimony given by [City police officers] at their trial—elevates [the Christians’] accusations above the threshold of plausibility. . . .” The federal judge also stated, “The [state] district judge appears to have presumed the police reports submitted were truthful, and staked his probable cause determination on that presumption. Plaintiffs had no opportunity to either cross-examine the officers or take the stand themselves to contest the reports.” The judge concluded, “Finally, the district court was inattentive to the effect Plaintiffs’ claims of First Amendment protection might have on the probable cause determination. . . . The Sixth Circuit has warned on previous occasions that Michigan’s ‘breach of peace’ statute is prone to such abuse.”
Yerushalmi concluded, “This case is a stunning example of the pernicious influence of stealth jihad and sharia law in America. The City of Dearborn is now a serial violator of Christians’ constitutional rights and has wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees and costs defending its insidious conduct. Apparently, in Dearborn, where sharia and jihad are advocated openly, it is a crime to preach the Christian Gospel. AFLC is committed to stopping this attack on our Constitution. And the ruling today allows us to do just that.”

Kangaroo Again Condemns Muhammad
Wow. Kangaroo can't seem to say anything without attacking his prophet. In response to my last post, he writes:
Constantly deceiving people about what other religions teach?
Kim agrees with Kangaroo that misinforming people about a religion is wrong. She writes:
Hmmm. What is the doctrine of the Trinity, according to Muhammad?
So the Trinity is made up of God, Jesus, and Mary, and they're three separate gods? That's what Muslims believe Christianity teaches, because their prophet led them astray.
And how about this gem:
So Jews call Ezra "the son of Allah"? All right, Kangaroo. Please give us a few historical examples of Jews calling Ezra the son of Allah. If you can't, then isn't it obvious that Muhammad misrepresented Jewish beliefs?
Here's the amazing thing. Kangaroo's prophet said false things about Christianity and Judaism. Kangaroo will simply justify the claims. But if I tell Muslims, "The Qur'an hasn't been perfectly preserved. Here, let me quote you several passages from your own sources declaring quite plainly that the Qur'an hasn't been perfectly preserved," Kangaroo calls me a deceiver.
So a deceiver is someone who points out clear quotations from Muslim sources. An honest person is someone who believes the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved, despite the fact that it hasn't.
Welcome to Islam.
Constantly spreading misinformation about them, lying, and constantly deceiving their followers and your own followers about what their religion teaches.
Constantly deceiving people about what other religions teach?
Kim agrees with Kangaroo that misinforming people about a religion is wrong. She writes:
If David Wood was a full time Prophet I wouldnt have a problem... but hes not.. and he misinforms people about Islam as any Islamophobe would do.
Hmmm. What is the doctrine of the Trinity, according to Muhammad?
Qur'an 5:116--And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.
So the Trinity is made up of God, Jesus, and Mary, and they're three separate gods? That's what Muslims believe Christianity teaches, because their prophet led them astray.
And how about this gem:
Qur'an 9:30--And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!
So Jews call Ezra "the son of Allah"? All right, Kangaroo. Please give us a few historical examples of Jews calling Ezra the son of Allah. If you can't, then isn't it obvious that Muhammad misrepresented Jewish beliefs?

Kangaroo Condemns Muhammad
In the comments section of a recent post, our Muslim friend Kangaroo condemned his own prophet. According to Kangaroo, it's morally repugnant to go around harassing people because of their beliefs. Indeed, such behavior is a symptom of insecurity. He writes:
Doesn't Kangaroo know that when Muhammad was in Mecca, he "denounced" the gods of the pagans?
According to Kangaroo, it's "extremely sad that one has to spend their life annoying other faiths." With this in mind, pay careful attention to how the Meccans reacted to Muhammad's constant criticism.
Wow! Muhammad sure was insecure about his faith! In fact, he was so insecure, he even commanded his followers to mistreat, abuse, and fight non-Muslims:
But Kangaroo can't stomach any of this. He believes it's wrong to spend any significant amount of time criticizing other people's beliefs. Hence, Kangaroo has condemned his own prophet, who spent far more time worrying about unbelievers than I ever will. Muhammad slaughtered unbelievers. I simply point out when Muslims believe something that's obviously false. According to Kangaroo, this makes me a much better person than Muhammad.
My life isn't spent going around annoying Christians about their religion lol.
And it's extremely sad that one has to spend their life annoying other faiths constantly since he/she is insecure about their own faith.
Doesn't Kangaroo know that when Muhammad was in Mecca, he "denounced" the gods of the pagans?
At-Tabari, Volume VI, p. 93—The Messenger of Allah proclaimed Allah’s message openly and declared Islam publicly to his fellow tribesmen. When he did so, they did not withdraw from him or reject him in any way . . . until he spoke of their gods and denounced them. When he did this, they took exception to it and united in opposition and hostility to him, except for those of them whom Allah had protected from error by means of Islam.
According to Kangaroo, it's "extremely sad that one has to spend their life annoying other faiths." With this in mind, pay careful attention to how the Meccans reacted to Muhammad's constant criticism.
At-Tabari, Volume VI, p. 101—[The Meccans said:] “We have never seen the like of what we have endured from this man. He has derided out traditional values, abused our forefathers, reviled our religion, caused division among us, and insulted our gods. We have endured a great deal from him.”
Wow! Muhammad sure was insecure about his faith! In fact, he was so insecure, he even commanded his followers to mistreat, abuse, and fight non-Muslims:
Qur’an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Qur’an 9:123—O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness; and know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil).
Qur’an 48:29—Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6924—Allah’s Messenger said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: La ilaha illallah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and whoever said La ilaha illahllah, Allah will save his property and his life from me.”
Sahih Muslim 30—It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right, and his affairs rest with Allah.
Sahih Muslim 33—It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.

Tracts Needed for College Campuses
Greetings. There are some local interfaith dialogues going on over the next few months (send me an email if you'd like to attend). I've talked to some of the Muslims there, and, not surprisingly, they all believe that the Qur'an has been perfectly preserved (because that's what their leaders tell them to believe). Of course, the Muslim sources prove conclusively that this belief is sheer nonsense. Entire chapters of the Qur'an were lost, not to mention large sections of chapters, individual verses, phrases, words, etc.
Since Muslim leaders refuse to tell Muslim students the truth, that task now falls to us. I think we need to make an extra effort this year to ensure that the next generation of Muslims doesn't share the delusions of the previous generation. So here's what I propose. I'm going to put together a tract on the preservation of the Qur'an (we did this a few years ago, but I've got more info to include now). Then I'm going to print 5,000 or 10,000 copies. I only need a few hundred for the interfaith dialogues, but it's much cheaper to print in bulk, and I know plenty of people who can distribute the rest. I will add the PDF file of the tract to the "Quran" tab above, so that anyone can print copies and distribute them in their area. If I can work it out with a Christian ministry that has some storage space, I'd also like to set it up so that people who would like high quality glossy printing can order bundles of the tract and just pay for shipping.
In short, let's all work together to dispel a myth this year. Students deserve to hear the truth, and they're just not hearing it now. Both Muslims and non-Muslims need this information. (I'd personally love to see non-Muslim students carrying copies of the tract in their backpacks or wallets, ready to refute the claim of perfect preservation whenever it is made.)
Assuming the same deal from last year is still in effect, I can get 5,000 copies printed for $295, or 10,000 for $495. The tracts are pretty heavy, so I'm guessing around $50 for shipping. I'm the poorest apologist you've ever known, so I'll need some help covering the costs. Anyone who wants to chip in can do so here:
If we get more than we need, I'll probably use what's left over to purchase some bulk copies of Keith Small's excellent short book "Holy Books Have a History" (which discusses both the Bible and the Qur'an) for distribution at the dialogues.
On a related note, after Sam and I finish the book we're working on, I might start putting together tracts on all of the major issues for Christian-Muslim dialogue. That way, when Muslims bring up a topic, non-Muslims can simply print out the relevant tract, and they've got all the arguments and evidence they'll need.
