Somali-Born Teenager Mohamed Osman Mohamud Arrested for Attempting to Obey the Qur'an by Slaughtering Unbelievers

Muslims are commanded to fight unbelievers until there is no more unbelief:

Qur’an 8:39—And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.

Muslims are specifically commanded to fight Christians and Jews until we submit to them:

Qur’an 9:29—Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, from among the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

Muslims are commanded to terrorize their enemies:

Qur’an 8:60—Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of God, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

The standard response here is "But Muslims don't believe in killing innocents." This response is quite silly if you know what Muslims regard as "innocent." If you reject Islam, you're not innocent. If you're a Christian or a Jew, you're not innocent. If you're a U.S. citizen who supports the government (e.g. by paying taxes), you're not innocent. Any idea what the penalty is for making mischief in a Muslim country is?

Qur’an 5:33—The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Given such passages in the Qur'an (along with many others), is anyone shocked when a young Muslim attempts to slaughter Americans?

PORTLAND, Ore. — Federal agents in a sting operation arrested a Somali-born teenager just as he tried blowing up a van he believed was loaded with explosives at a crowded Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, authorities said.

The bomb was an elaborate fake supplied by the agents and the public was never in danger, authorities said.

Mohamed Osman Mohamud, 19, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Friday just after he dialed a cell phone that he thought would set off the blast but instead brought federal agents and police swooping down on him.

Yelling "Allahu Akbar!" -- Arabic for "God is great!" -- Mohamud tried to kick agents and police after he was taken into custody, according to prosecutors.

"The threat was very real," said Arthur Balizan, special agent in charge of the FBI in Oregon. "Our investigation shows that Mohamud was absolutely committed to carrying out an attack on a very grand scale." (Read more.)

Barack Obama's Muslim Grandmother Praying That He Converts to Islam

RIYADH — US President Barack Obama's Kenyan grandmother says she prayed during a hajj pilgrimage to Mecca for the American leader to convert to Islam, a newspaper revealed on Thursday.

"I prayed for my grandson Barack to convert to Islam," said Sarah Omar, 88, in an interview with Al-Watan Saudi daily held in Jeddah after she had performed hajj.

The paper said that Omar was in Saudi Arabia on pilgrimage along with her son, Obama's uncle Saeed Hussein Obama, and four of her grandchildren.

Omar told the newspaper that she could only discuss hajj matters and would not comment on Obama's politics.

The family appeared to have been hosted by the Saudi government for hajj. Saeed thanked King Abdullah for his "kind hospitality," the paper said.

US opinion polls in August revealed that roughly one in five Americans believe that Obama is a Muslim, a claim categorically denied by the White House which has maintained that he is a "committed Christian." (Source)

Muslim Gang Targeted Young Girls for Rape in the UK

Muhammad promised his followers that Allah could forgive them, even if their sins were as heavy as a mountain.

Sahih Muslim 6668—Allah’s Messenger [said]: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians.

When this teaching is combined with Muhammad's moral example (sex with a young girl, rape of female captives, etc.), and the Islamic view of women and unbelievers, the results we see shouldn't be surprising.

The Telegraph--At home, Abid Saddique and Mohammed Liaqat, both of whom were married with young children, were considered clean, upstanding family men as well as devout Muslims.

But once they left their front door and their wives behind, they turned into vodka-swilling, cocaine-binging paedophiles who spent every available moment randomly targeting young girls on the street, befriending them, and then horrifically abusing them.

The 28-year-olds were at the head of a 13-strong gang who would film the assaults on their mobile telephones.


For over 18 months, dressed “sharply” in designer western clothes, wearing jewellery and sporting short haircuts, the pair cruised the streets of Derby in a silver BMW 5 series with blacked-out windows, approaching girls at random and with a bottle of vodka and plastic cups hidden under the front seats.

An undercover investigation by Derbyshire Police, dubbed Operation Retriever, was split into three trials which have run since February at Leicester Crown Court and can only now be reported.

The victims, aged between 12-18, ranged from girls in care to a 14-year-old A-grade student from a strong, middle-class home. They were predominantly girls with a troubled background.

They would pick their victims up night and day and from anywhere - at train stations, on estates, in the city centre, walking home from school.

They would be charmed, given drink and drugs, and after mobile numbers were handed over, contacted again to meet up, go to a party or for a drive, where the abuse took place.

At the opening of the first trial, held at Nottingham Crown Court, prosecutor Yvonne Coen QC said: "They preyed on young girls who were vulnerable, either because of their age and because of their own personal circumstances.

"They exploited these girls either for their own sexual satisfaction or for their friends.

"The girls involved in the case were young and however cool and grown-up they may have wanted to be or intended to appear, in fact they were naive and impressionable.

"The reason for the main defendants' relentless pursuit of the girls in this way was quite simple. They wanted sex, whether the girls wanted sex or not."

In one incident, Saddique, who was convicted of 14 of the 29 charges he faced, was accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 12-year-old in Derby’s picturesque Darley Park, while his accomplice Liaqat, who was convicted of 10 crimes of the 18 charges he faced, had sex with a 14-year-old in the BMW.

Another time, a 14-year-old girl was filmed having sex with three of the gang in a hotel room as cheers ring out.

The group faced 75 charges between them relating to twenty six girls, but police believe there are many more victims who have not come forward.

Yesterday, Saddique and Liaqat - who since legal proceedings have begun had grown long beards and now wear Islamic dress - were convicted of charges of sexual assault and sexual activity with a child, bringing the trials to a close.

This year they had already been convicted of a series of other offences including rape, sexual assault, sexual activity with a child, false imprisonment and making child pornography. They will be sentenced for all their crimes in January. (Read more.)

Terrorist Attack Highly Likely at 2012 Olympic Games in London

Hmmm. The Associated Press says that a terrorist attack is "highly likely" at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. But AP doesn't say where the threat is likely to come from. Enraged Anglicans? Misguided Methodists? Radical Quakers? Hindu Extremists? Buddhist Fundamentalists? It sure would be nice to know the source of terrorism.

LONDON -- Britain's counterterrorism minister says the national terror threat will remain at a severe level during the 2012 London Olympics.

The current threat classification means that an attack is highly likely in Britain.

Minister Pauline Neville-Jones says "we must work on the assumption that [the threat] will remain as it is."

She says the next -- and most extreme level -- is "critical."

Neville-Jones also told an Olympic security conference in London on Thursday that more needs to be done to combat cyber crime to ensure the games are not a "soft target."

Devout Muslims Oppose Pardon of Pakistani Christian

LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — Around 250 hard-line Muslims staged a demonstration in the central Pakistani city of Lahore on Wednesday, warning the president not to pardon a Christian woman sentenced to death for insulting Islam.

They also denounced any attempt to change Pakistan's blasphemy law, which critics say is often misused to persecute Christians like Asia Bibi and other minorities. Her case has prompted outrage from human rights groups and a personal appeal from Pope Benedict XVI for her release.

But hard-line Islamic groups in Pakistan have pushed back and some have even threatened officials in the past who suggested reforming or repealing the blasphemy law. These groups have significant power since politicians from the major parties rely on them for votes.

"We are ready to sacrifice our life for the Prophet Muhammad," chanted protesters in Lahore — many of whom were students from Islamic seminaries in the city.

The rally was organized by the Movement for Protection of the Prophet's Honor, a group of hard-line Sunni Muslims that was formed in 2001 to oppose changes in the blasphemy law.

Bibi, a 45-year-old mother of five, has said she was falsely accused by a group of Muslim women angry at a dispute over whether they could share the same water bowl. She has been jailed in the eastern province of Punjab since her initial arrest 1 1/2 years ago.

A court sentenced her Nov. 8 to hang after convicting her of insulting the prophet.

It is the first time a woman has been condemned to death under Pakistan's blasphemy law, often criticized as being abused to inflame religious extremism and settle personal grudges.

Her lawyer has filed an appeal with a higher court in Lahore, but she could also be pardoned by the president.

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has asked for a review of the facts of the case, raising the possibility of a presidential pardon.

One of the strongest defenders of Bibi has been Salman Taseer, the governor of Punjab province, where Lahore is the capital. Wednesday's protest took place in front of the governor's office and the demonstrators railed against him and others calling for Bibi's release.

"We are here to tell them that we will not let it happen," said Masoodur Rehman, one of the leaders of the group that organized the rally. "Only the court should decide her fate."

Minister for Minority Affairs Shahbaz Bhatti, who is preparing the report for Zardari on the case, said Wednesday that he would deliver his recommendations on Thursday. Bhatti has said he is convinced Bibi is innocent.

Pakistan's Christians, who make up less than 5 percent of the Muslim-majority country's 175 million people, are frequently the targets of accusers invoking the blasphemy law.

Bhatti says "dozens" of people — both Muslims and minorities — are sentenced to death under the law each year, although higher courts in each case have prevented any executions.

Those accused of blasphemy also are often targeted with violence.

In July, two Christian brothers accused of blasphemy were gunned down as they left court hearing in Punjab's eastern city of Faislabad.

Last year, a 19-year-old Christian accused of desecrating a Quran, Islam's holy book, was found dead in his jail cell in Sialkot, another town in Punjab. Officials said at the time that he had hanged himself, but Christian groups said he was murdered.

Bhatti has long campaigned against the blasphemy law, which was introduced by President Gen. Zia ul-Haq's military regime in the 1980s to win the support of hard-line religious groups. Hard-line Islamic groups threatened to behead Bhatti six months ago when he proposed changes to the law.

Bhatti said the government is considering calling a meeting of Islamic leaders, politicians, human rights organizations and representatives of minority groups to determine whether the law should be repealed or changed. He said he is dedicated to the effort despite danger to himself.

"I am not afraid of these threats," said Bhatti. "I am ready to sacrifice everything for the justice that I believe in." (Source)

Muslim Cleric Gets Four Years in Prison for Sex with Minor

According to Islam, Muhammad is the ultimate moral example.

Qur'an 33:21—Ye have indeed in the Apostle of God a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in God and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of God.

The problem is that Muhammad had sex with a nine-year-old girl.

Jakarta—An Indonesian court sentenced a wealthy Muslim cleric to four years in prison on Wednesday for having sex with a 12-year-old girl he took as his unofficial wife.

Pujiono Cahyo Widiyanto, 45, from the Central Java city of Semarang, sparked nationwide controversy over his decision to wed Lutfiana Ulfa in August, 2008.

"The defendant has been proven to have had a sexual relationship with an underage girl, Lutfiana Ulfa. We sentence him to four years in prison," judge Hari Mulyanto said.

Lutfiana screamed hysterically when she heard the sentence read out in court.

"We'll appeal against the decision," Widiyanto's lawyer OC Kaligis said.

Widiyanto — also known as Sheikh Puji — said the girl had reached puberty when he married her in an unofficial religious ceremony, and claimed his actions were acceptable under Islam.

The age of consent in Indonesia is 16 for married females and 18 for males.

Indonesian law has harsh penalties for pedophilia, but unregistered marriages between older men and under-age girls are common in rural areas. (Source)

The cleric was right about one thing. Sex with young girls is certainly acceptable in Islam.

Schools: Islam...Yes! Christianity...No!

OneNewsNow--An expert on Islam explains that schools across the United States have implemented radical Islamic curriculum in public schools.

Brigitte Gabriel, founder of ACT! for America, explains that students are required to become a Muslim for three weeks, adopt Muslim names, memorize verses from the Quran, and visit a mosque for a field trip. If students try their best on assignments, she says, they will be guaranteed a good grade.

Students in these programs, laments the conservative activist, must also recite the Islamic prayer for salvation, which describes Islam as a straight path to God -- and Christianity in error.

"Here's what they're teaching in the public schools; [here's] what they're telling the students they have to memorize and recite," she says -- "'Praise be to Allah, Lord of Creation, the compassionate, the merciful, king of judgment day. You alone we worship, and to you alone we pray for help.'"

Gabriel sees more than a little inconsistency in how the material is being presented. "Remember, this is public school where we can't even say we have a Christmas break -- we have a 'winter break,'" she exclaims. "Where we can't even say we have Easter break -- it's now called 'spring break.'"

The ACT! for America president explains that Islamic ideologies are prevalent in textbooks, such as the way the term "jihad" is explained. She says instead of portraying the idea as one of violence and bloodshed, the texts describe it as a struggle against oppression -- the same description that al-Qaeda presents.

She argues that "what they're doing is literally brainwashing our students to prepare them to turn against our own soldiers and our own military and government by basically feeding them the talking points of al-Qaeda."

Gabriel contends that if students were to recite Bible verses, adopt Christian names, and learn a Christian prayer for salvation, many Americans would be infuriated, arguing it violates the alleged separation of church and state. But because of political correctness, she says, Islamic indoctrination is allowed in public schools. (Source)

Daily Mail--Fears are rising across Europe of an al-Qaeda outrage before Christmas as intelligence services work frantically to track down radicalised western nationals returning from terror camps in Pakistan.

Ten suspects holding Belgian, Dutch, Moroccan and Russian passports were arrested in Belgium, Germany and Holland.

Prosecutors spoke of a complex plot involving an 'international Islamist group' in Belgium although a specific target was not identified.

Media reports spoke of a Chechen element involving Islamic separatists embroiled in a long-running struggle with Moscow.

Meanwhile across the border in Germany it was widely reported that two members of a six-strong suicide squad were already in the country.

The famed glass dome of the Reichstag building in Berlin was closed to tourists indefinitely on Monday amid interior ministry warnings that a strike could be expected in November or early December.

The feeling among intelligence services is that al-Qaeda is prepared to 'go for broke' with a bloodbath before Christmas using westerners who have converted to Islam to avoid detection at air and seaports.

Two scenarios are on the table; a Mumbai-style massacre using automatic weapons stored at safe houses or suicide bomb attacks using explosives also stored among radicals within the country’s massive Muslim population. (Read more.)

TSA Keeps Flight Passengers Safe by Strip Searching non-Muslim Children

What do most terrorists have in common?

As we all know, the September 11th attacks were perpetrated by 12-year-old boys. The 12-year-old shoe bomber Richard Reid was, fortunately, foiled in his attempt to blow up a plane, as was 12-year-old underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. According to the Religion of Peace Website, prepubescent boys have carried out more than 16,000 deadly terrorist attacks since September 11th. We can all be happy that the TSA is keeping us safe by searching the people who actually want to harm us.



BTW, can anyone imagine the international outrage if the TSA had strip searched a young Muslim?

No Freedom of Conscience for Afghans, Mr. Obama?

Robert Spencer--Afghan Interior Ministry intelligence authorities have arrested an Afghan citizen, Said Musa, for apostasy – converting from Islam to Christianity, in yet another case that raises serious questions about what the U.S. is hoping to accomplish in Afghanistan, and how likely it is to be accomplished.

This has happened before. In 2006, an Afghan named Abdul Rahman made international news for being arrested and facing the death penalty in Afghanistan for converting from Islam to Christianity. Rahman was ultimately spirited away to live in freedom, albeit in hiding, in Italy. But the questions his case raised about the Karzai regime and the nature of the “freedom” that the U.S. was bringing to Afghanistan were never answered, and have reappeared with the Said Musa case.

Qamaruddin Shenwari, director of the Kabul courts’ north zone, explained that Islamic law – which mandates a death penalty for apostates from Islam – would be a determining factor in Musa’s case: “According to Afghanistan’s constitution, if there is no clear verdict as to whether an act is criminal or not in the penal code of the Afghan Constitution, then it would be referred to sharia law where the judge has an open hand in reaching a verdict.”

Indeed, the Afghan Constitution stipulates that “no law can be contrary to the beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of Islam.” It declares that “the religion of the state of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the sacred religion of Islam,” and that “followers of other religions are free to exercise their faith and perform their religious rites within the limits of the provisions of law.” And the “beliefs and provisions of the sacred religion of Islam” forbid Muslims to leave that religion, on pain of death. The Islamic death penalty for apostasy is as old as the Muslim Prophet Muhammad’s command that if a Muslim “discards his religion, kill him.”

The Said Musa case thus offers the Obama Administration an opportunity to clarify what exactly it intends to accomplish in Afghanistan, and to demonstrate its commitment to human rights, including the freedom of conscience that is denied by Islamic law. Obama has spoken repeatedly about according Islam and the Muslim world “respect,” and about his determination to fight for the rights of women who wish to wear Islamic headcoverings in the U.S. He has even said that he considers it his duty as president to fight against negative characterizations of Islam. Was Islam Designed to Satisfy Muhammad's Desires?

Generally, we don't post pictures of Muhammad here unless it serves an important journalistic purpose (e.g. showing people the cartoons that Muslims are willing to kill over). The following video makes an important point.

It's ironic that the primary reason Muslims forbid images of Muhammad is that such images may lead people to worship Muhammad. The reason this is ironic is that Islam is an utterly Muhammad-centered religion. Many Qur'anic revelations seem to have no purpose other than satisfying Muhammad's desires. Thus, while Muslims go to great lengths to avoid giving Muhammad honors that only God deserves, by assenting to the Qur'an, they have already deified Muhammad.

Muslim Cleric Hafiz Rahman Sent to Jail after Molesting Teenage Girl (While Supposedly Teaching Her the Qur'an)

Well, at least she had probably reached puberty, unlike Muhammad's wife Aisha.

A Muslim cleric has been jailed for a year after sexually assaulting a young girl while he was meant to be teaching her the Qur'an.

Hafiz Rahman, 67, was paid by families to teach their children after stepping down as a respected Imam.

He went to the 15-year-old victim's home and molested her when they were left alone.

A judge described the attack as the 'worst breach of trust imaginable' and said he believed it would have continued if the girl's father had not unexpectedly returned home.

A jury of eight men and six women at Portsmouth Crown Court took less than two hours to find Rahman guilty of sexual activity with a child.

Rahman, a former Imam at Jami Mosque in Portsmouth, Hampshire, is a Hafiz - someone who has memorised the entire Qur'an.

Judge Roger Hetherington said: 'The parents of the child came to retain your services because they understood that you were a respected and indeed revered member of the community, who had, until recently, been an Imam to the mosque.

'On the jury's verdict and on abundant evidence, for whatever reason, you took advantage of that situation for your own sexual gratification.

'It must have been a very frightening experience for that girl.

'Given your position in the Muslim community and the respect with which you were accorded as a result by the family that you were visiting, this was as bad a case of breach of trust as it is possible to imagine.

'I accept that for all your life apart from this incident you have behaved properly and you may well have done many good things to other people during your life.

'Nevertheless this was a terrible lapse on your part.'

Stephen Smyth, defending, said Rahman had lost his standing as a respected member of the community, following the attack on December 27 last year.

He said: 'This means it will be over for him and he will be deported.

'Everything goes and he has to go back to a Muslim country convicted of what he is convicted of, which will be very seriously regarded.

'He has nothing to look forward to in his life.' (Source)

Said Musa, Afghan Christian, Faces Trial for Apostasy

Wow! CNN finally admitted that the penalty for apostasy under Sharia is death. This is a major leap forward for the mainstream media, which usually waters down Islam until it's indistinguishable from Western values.

CNN--An Afghan Christian, detained for months for allegedly converting to Christianity from Islam, could face trial as early as next week - and could face a potential death penalty, officials said Sunday.

Said Musa was arrested by Afghan Interior Ministry intelligence authorities near the German Embassy in Kabul because of the allegations, said Qamaruddin Shenwari, director of the Kabul courts' north zone. The exact date of his arrest is not known.

The case against Musa has not yet been finalized, said Mohammad Najim Hamidi, director of public security at Zone 3 of the Kabul courts. He could face trial next week if the case is prepared by then, Hamidi said. It was earlier thought Musa's trial would begin on Sunday.

The Afghan Constitution does not mention converting from one religion to another, so the judge will take Islamic law into account, officials said.

"According to Afghanistan's constitution, if there is no clear verdict as to whether an act is criminal or not in the penal code of the Afghan Constitution, then it would be referred to sharia law where the judge has an open hand in reaching a verdict," Shenwari said.

Under sharia law, converting from Islam to Christianity is punishable by death.

It was not immediately clear where Musa was being held and whether he has access to his attorney or relatives.

The U.S. State Department said last week in its annual International Religious Freedom Report that "respect for religious freedom" decreased in Afghanistan in the last year, "particularly toward Christian groups and individuals."

Christians, Hindus and Sikhs - as well as Muslims whose practices don't satisfy the government or society - suffer "intolerance in the form of harassment, occasional violence, discrimination and inflammatory public statements," the report said. It estimated the Afghan Christian community ranges from 500 to 8,000 people. (Source)

Muslim Students Suspended after Threatening Non-Muslim Student

After every Islamic terrorist attack, we hear Muslims warn of the impending anti-Muslim backlash. The mythical anti-Muslim backlash, however, never actually materializes. Instead, Muslims become more emboldened in their push against the West, and Muslim hatred of non-Muslims always manages to outstrip non-Muslim anger towards Muslims. Shockingly, bullying of non-Muslim children is quite common in schools. Where do 12-year-olds learn to hate like this? Could it be . . . at home?

DAILY MAIL--A 13-year-old boy who penned an online Remembrance Day tribute to Britain’s fallen soldiers was subjected to a vicious hate campaign by fellow pupils.

A gang of 12-year-old pupils made up of five Muslim boys and one non-Muslim girl made death threats to Darius Gill involving knives and knuckle-dusters because of his support for British troops.

One member of the gang also posted a picture of himself holding a rifle and threatened to hijack a plane.

The campaign was backed by more pupils belonging to a self-styled ‘Muslim Defence League’ celebrating British deaths in Afghanistan.

The abuse was so serious that police are now investigating.

On November 11, Darius – whose father is Asian – wrote on Facebook: ‘RIP to all the lads who never made it home.’

He also posted two pictures showing British troops on Armistice Day.

He was then branded ‘racist’ and two of the accused pupils began a flurry of online messages to each other setting out what they were going to do to him.

One wrote to Darius on Facebook criticising him for failing to acknowledge the dead Muslim soldiers in the Middle East.

Darius explained that Remembrance Day honoured British troops and pointed out that he was paying tribute to his great-great uncle, who died aged only 17 on the first day of the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

The students attend the 1,250-pupil Sidney Stringer Academy in Coventry. Muslim pupils make up 65 per cent of the school, which caters for children aged 11-18.

The main six pupils, none of whom can be named for legal reasons, have now been suspended and may be expelled over their chilling threats.

One of the online messages – which were littered with spelling mistakes – read: ‘Fight on Monday gonna be heavy knuckle dusters and knifes hopefully I don’t die.’

Another pupil added: ‘ill bang [attack] him ma slef [myself] am a terrorist.’

One pupil’s Facebook profile is full of chilling references to Islamic fundamentalism and shows a picture of him posing with an AK47 rifle.

He also penned a terrifying poem about hijacking a plane.

On November 12, he wrote: ‘You better watch what the **** flies outta ya mouth. Or I’ma hijack a plane and fly it into your house.

‘Burn your apartment with your family tied to the couch. And slit your throat, so when you scream, only blood comes out.’

Other pupils from the Muslim Defence League added comments condemning Darius.

Fortunately, Darius’s mother Clare Allington read the comments on her son’s Facebook page on Monday morning – the day of the promised attack – and immediately pulled her son out of school.

Yesterday, Mrs Allington, 42, a mature student from Coventry, said: ‘I logged on and it broke my heart. I was reading all sorts about knuckle-dusters, knives and death.

‘They were planning to attack him at school that day so I rang the school straight away.’

But Darius Gill now says he feels scared to wear a poppy in future because of the vicious abuse.

She added that she usually keeps an eye on her son’s posts on Facebook every day but had not done so last weekend. She only read them on Monday.

She added: ‘If I hadn’t read the threats and pulled my son out of school he could be dead.

‘They might just be schoolchildren but they are fanatical and dangerous. The threats have to be taken seriously.’

Even yesterday, one of the yobs bragged about being quizzed by police and continued his online threats to attack Darius. He wrote: ‘Im in trouble wiv de police cuz of susspician of threat to Darius ... Im banggin Darius Thursday.’

He goes on to say he wants a one-on-one fight and demands that no one defends Darius.

Yesterday Darius said he was now too frightened to wear a poppy and claims he has been picked on at school because he is not Muslim.

Mrs Allington added: ‘My son wrote supporting the British troops in Afghanistan and also said he was sad so many soldiers had died.

‘The so-called Muslim Defence League, which has been set up in the school by a number of pupils, believe that Darius should join them in hating British soldiers. It’s appalling and extremely upsetting for Darius.’

Sidney Stringer Academy’s principal, Wendy Thomas, said Facebook was an increasing concern for schools. She said the children have been told to remove the comments from the site.

She said: ‘Darius is the victim of bullying. All the students involved have told me they did not mean what they said but they will learn a hard lesson from this.

‘Facebook is a big concern for schools and we urge all parents to monitor what their children say on the site. As soon as the school was notified about the comments on Monday we interviewed the pupils.

‘No weapons were found on any of the pupils. We notified the police and they are investigating.’

Yes, you read that correctly. After learning that one of her students had his life threatened by Muslims, the principal declares that Facebook is the real problem.

Imran Latif Murdered in Pakistan over Blasphemy Accusation

It seems to be quite easy to get someone killed in Pakistan. If someone annoys you, you simply say, "Hey! He spoke against Muhammad!" or "He burned the Qur'an!" Then you can sit back and rely on Muslim rage to kill your enemy.

A man accused of blasphemy was shot and killed near his home in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore shortly after being granted bail by a court, according to a media report.

Imran Latif, 22, was accused of burning pages of the Quran in a case registered at Sherakot police station in Lahore and spent five months in jail.

He was released on bail on November 3 after the man who filed the complaint of blasphemy told the court he was not sure that Latif was guilty.

Latif was shot by armed men near his home on November 11 but police learnt only later that he had been accused of blasphemy, the Express Tribune newspaper reported.

Inspector Rafique Ahmed, who is investigating the murder, said Latif's killing was likely linked to the blasphemy case. "No Muslim tolerates a man who commits blasphemous acts," he said. (Read more.)

Department of Homeland Security Considering Submission to CAIR's Demands

On September 11th, 2001, a group of Muslims hijacked several planes and flew them into buildings, killing thousands of people. Airport security was greatly increased after these attacks.

But Muslims have struggled (sometimes successfully) to find ways around security. On December 22, 2001, a convert to Islam named Richard Reid attempted to blow up a plane with explosives hidden in his shoes. This is why we must now remove our shoes for scanning whenever we fly.

Shoes aren't the only place to hide explosives, however. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attempted to blow up a plane on Christmas Day, 2009, using explosives hidden in his underwear.

Rumors are now circulating about terrorists hiding bombs inside of them (either in their digestive tracts or, in the case of women, in breast implants). Airports have started putting people through full-body scanners. Yet Muslims complained about the full-body scanners (which show an image of the body). The TSA submitted, offering a "pat-down" to people who don't want to go through the scanner. CAIR is now complaining about the pat-down, suggesting that airport security only be allowed to pat down Muslim women's heads and necks (since that's obviously the place they would hide a bomb). The Department of Homeland Security is considering whether it should allow Muslim women to pat themselves down, rather than be patted down by security.

And so it continues. Muslims come up with creative ways around security procedures that were designed to stop Muslim terrorists from killing people. And government agencies keep submitting, so as to avoid offending Muslims. Can we get any dumber?

With the holidays fast approaching, the Transportation Safety Agency has announced new security procedures requiring passengers selected for secondary screening to go through a machine that produces a full body scan producing a nude but grainy, black and white image. Passengers choosing to opt out of the scan will face a full body pat.

The head of Homeland Security has indicated the government is considering the request of an Islamic organization that has suggested Muslim women be allowed to pat themselves down during a full body search that is part of new enhanced procedures at airports.

Since implementing the procedures, numerous complaints have arisen that the search is not a “pat-down” but rather feeling and grabbing along a person’s genitalia and other areas until they meet resistance. Critics have said the pat-downs would be considered sexual assault if performed elsewhere.

The TSA defends the procedures as necessary in light of last years “underwear bomber” and the recent issues involving printer cartridges being used in an attempt to blow up cargo planes.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR, has expressed concern with the TSA over the regulations and recommended special procedures for dealing with Muslim women. The organization issued a travel advisory for Muslims over the procedure.

In the advisory CAIR advises all Muslims to contact them and file a complaint with the TSA if they experience any “disturbing incidents” with the new procedures and they feel they have been unfairly singled out for screening.

It goes on to make special recommendations for Muslim women wearing a hijab covering their face. The advisory says women are to inform the officer they are only to pat down the head and neck and says “They should not subject you to a full-body or partial body pat-down.” They also recommend that women should be permitted to pat themselves down and “have the officers perform a chemical swipe of your hands.”

Barack Obama’s Homeland Security Czar, Janet Napolitano, is considering changes to the procedures to address the issues raised by CAIR. (Read more.)

Muslims Riot after Eid Prayers

Holy days have a way of inspiring people to be more dedicated to their faith. Why do we see so much violence during Muslim holy days?

ANANTNAG: Protestors burnt a police vehicle near the Eidgah here on Wednesday as violence erupted in various parts of Kashmir Valley after the Eid prayers.

The mob reportedly raising anti-India slogans set ablaze a police vehicle and started pelting stones on the security personnel deployed in the area soon after the Eid prayers today.

The police personnel had to later open fire in the air to disperse the mob.

No casualties were, however, reported in the incident.

Kashmir Valley has witnessed massive demonstrations in the last three months and at least hundred stone-pelting protestors have been killed in firing by the security forces. (Source)

Eighteen Injured in Mosque Shootout over Who Would Lead Prayer

Associated Press--A shootout in a mosque in south-western Pakistan, caused by a dispute over who should lead prayers on one of Islam's most important holidays, has left 18 people injured, police said today.

Followers of the two rival religious leaders pulled out weapons and began shooting after arguing over which one should start Eid al-Adha prayers at a small mosque in the Khuzdar district of Baluchistan province, Javed Ahmed, a police official, said.

Khuzdar is about 550 miles south-west of Islamabad. Many of the region's ethnic Pashtuns carry rifles.

Millions of people throughout Pakistan have been peacefully celebrating Eid al-Adha. The three-day festival – known as the Feast of the Sacrifice – involves the slaughter of sheep and cattle in remembrance of Abraham's near-sacrifice of his son.

Pakistan began the religious holiday a day later than many other countries because of local authorities' interpretation of when the new moon was sighted.

Many mosques have increased security measures to guard against attacks by the Taliban and other Islamist extremists.

Earlier this month, at least 70 people died when a suicide bomber targeted a mosque frequented by anti-Taliban elders and a grenade exploded at another place of worship in Pakistan's north-west. (Source)

Muslims Burn Christian Alive and Murder His Father over Rumor

A Muslim man set fire to a Coptic young man, murdered his father and wounded his younger brother, after it was rumored that the young Copt allegedly had a relationship with the Muslim man's sister!!

The events took place in the small village of "Dmas" Meet-Ghamr, after a rumor spread around of a relationship between the 25-year-old Copt Shihata Sabri, and the sister of a Muslim man named Yasser Ahmed Qasim.

Yasser went to Coptic Shehata, holding a gasoline canister, poured it over him and set him on fire, as bystanders looked on in horror. The young Copt threw himself into the adjacent canal to try to put out the flames from his burning body. The fire left burns all over his body, leading to his death.

Following this incident, people in the village rallied and when the 60-years-old Sabri Shehata, father of the Coptic victim arrived, he was attacked by a group of Muslims stabbing him with knives and daggers; one stab penetrated his back to come out of his abdomen below the rib cage, resulting in his death, after being transferred to hospital.

A Coptic witness said that Yasser Ahmed, who is reputed to be a thug, and others have also beaten the Coptic victim's younger brother, 22-year old Rami Sabri Shehata, causing a deep injury to his head. (Read more.)

Muslims Burn Ten Christian Homes in Egypt

CAIRO – Muslims set fire overnight to at least 10 houses belonging to Coptic Christians in a village in southern Egypt over rumors that a Christian resident had an affair with a Muslim girl, security officials said Tuesday.

The officials said security forces sealed off the village of al-Nawahid in Qena province, some 290 miles (465 kilometers) south of Cairo, to prevent the violence from spreading to neighboring towns. They said several people were arrested.

The attacks started after locals spotted a young Copt and a Muslim girl together at night inside the village cemetery, the officials said. They added that both were put under police custody as authorities investigate.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the media.

The village was calm by nightfall, after religious leaders from both communities appealed to their followers to end the confrontation. Some residents said they felt the situation had cooled enough that the extra police forces could leave.

Clashes between Christians and Muslims occasionally occur in southern Egypt, mostly over land or disputes over church construction. But sectarian tensions have also been on the rise recently in the capital.

Last year in Qena, a Coptic man was accused of kidnapping and raping a 12-year-old Muslim girl. The alleged assault led to widespread protests by the Muslim community and increased tensions between the two religious groups, which culminated in the murder of six Copts and one Muslim security guard at a church on Jan. 6.

Coptic Christians make up about 10 percent of Egypt's population of 80 million. Copts and Muslims generally live in peace, though tension and violence occasionally flare.

Human rights groups say attacks on Copts are on the rise, underscoring the government's failure to address chronic sectarian strains in a society where religious radicalism is gaining ground.

The government insists Christians enjoy the same rights as Muslims. (Source)

Sharia Alert: Non-Muslim British Students Given Detention for Refusing to Pray to Allah

For the first time in my life, I'm literally speechless.

Two schoolboys were allegedly disciplined after refusing to kneel down and "pray to Allah" during a religious education lesson.

It was claimed that the boys, from a year seven class of 11 and 12-year-olds, were given detention after refusing to take part in a practical demonstration of how Allah is worshipped.

Yesterday parents accused the school of breaching their human rights by forcing them to take part in the exercise.

One, Sharon Luinen, said: "This isn't right, it's taking things too far. I understand that they have to learn about other religions. I can live with that, but it is taking it a step too far to be punished because they wouldn't join in Muslim prayer.

"Making them pray to Allah, who isn't who they worship, is wrong and what got me is that they were told they were being disrespectful."

Another parent, Karen Williams, 38, whose 12-year-old daughter is a classmate of the boys, said: "I am absolutely furious my daughter was made to take part in it and I don't find it acceptable.

"The teacher had gone into the class and made them watch a short film and then said 'we are now going out to pray to Allah'.

"Then two boys got detention and all the other children missed their refreshments' break."

She added: "Not only was it forced upon them, my daughter was told off for not doing it right.

"They'd never done it before and they were supposed to do it in another language."

She said the pupils were asked if they had water on them, and when one girl produced a bottle, the teacher began washing her feet with it.

Her husband Keith, 44, a painter and decorator, said: "The school is wonderful but this one teacher has made a major mistake. It seems to be happening throughout society. People think they can ride roughshod over our beliefs and the way we live."

The alleged incident, at the Alsager school, one of Cheshire's top performing schools, happened on Tuesday afternoon. The teacher, Alison Phillips, the school's subject leader in RE, is understood to be staying away from the school until the furore dies down, although she has not been suspended.

She is said to have got prayer mats out of the cupboard and also asked children to wear Islamic headdresses. (Read more.)

Iraqi Christian Refugees Terrified of Returning to Iraq

According to the Qur'an, Christians and Jews are the "worst of creatures." Surah 98:6 reads:

"Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Qur'an, and Prophet Muhammad) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures."

Muslims, however, are the "best of peoples," as we read in Surah 3:111:

"Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in God. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors."

It isn't difficult to imagine what a society built upon the Qur'an must be like for Christians.

With numerous attacks against Iraq's Christians in recent weeks — including a Halloween day massacre in a Baghdad church, which left 52 dead — the country's religious minority fears for its survival within the boundaries of the Middle Eastern nation. Yet, a long way from their native land, many Iraqi Christians are also living in terror in a far more serene place: Stockholm.

Swedish immigration officials have been deporting Iraqi refugees to Baghdad on flights about every three weeks, declaring that some of them have no legitimate claim to political asylum in Sweden. That includes Iraqi Christians — a category that does not automatically imply a risk of persecution, according to Swedish guidelines. Of the 80,000 or so Iraqi refugees in Sweden, about 6,000 of them are Christian, according to estimates by the Syriac Orthodox Church in Stockhold. That Swedish interpretation of the main criterion for refugee status under U.N. treaties has spread widespread panic among refugees. "There are hundreds of Iraqis here who are not legal who have simply disappeared," says an Iraqi engineer in Stockholm, a Catholic, who fled Baghdad in 2004 with his family after Islamic militants ordered them to leave their home, or be killed. "The refugees are hiding in churches or basements, working illegal jobs, trying to survive, transferring from place to place."

Sweden is not alone in deporting Iraqis. Under agreements signed with Iraq's government, Britain, Norway and Denmark have also sent back hundreds of Iraqis who fled during the most violent years of the war. Alarmed at the deportations, U.N. refugee officials warned last September that many of the returned Iraqis could face grave dangers back home, or place huge burdens on Iraq's neighbors, where millions of Iraqi refugees have also fled. "Serious risks, including indiscriminate threats to life, physical integrity or freedom.... are valid reasons for international protection," the U.N. refugee spokesman Adrian Edwards told reporters last September. Prince Jefri Bolkiah, brother of the Sultan of Brunei, is suing his British former financial advisors for allegedly cheating him out of some $7 million between 2004 and 2006.

Faith Zaman and her husband Thomas Derbyshire insist they did nothing wrong and even claim to be owed millions more by a prince whose lavish lifestyle, said to include everything from harems to gold toilet paper holders, is legendary.

On Friday they all appeared in New York state Supreme Court.

The diminutive prince looked dapper in a trim blue suit and neat moustache as jurors listened to witnesses lay bare the intimate financial dealings of one of the world’s richest men.

What jurors were not hearing was anything about Prince Jefri’s even more intimate details.

Justice Ira Gammerman, an irascible judge famous for once barking at Woody Allen during a trial that “I’m the director,” prevented defense attorneys from mentioning the royal’s playboy ways.

That meant jurors have been among the few New Yorkers not exposed to lurid debates over pornographic statues formerly kept at a Long Island property belonging to the prince.

The prince’s lawyers had accused the defense team of wanting to embarrass him by dredging up photographs of the life-size, flesh-colored sculptures depicting the prince and an equally bared woman engaged in sex.

“This case is not about sex,” Gammerman said earlier in the trial this week, adding, with his characteristic humour: it might be “much more interesting if it was.”

Prince Jefri, in his mid-50s, is no stranger to controversy over money and sex.

He reportedly has four wives, although that is not unusual for a Muslim, and 17 children. Former American stripper Jillian Lauren, says that for a year and a half she was part of a 40-strong harem, an experience she describes in this year’s book “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem”. (Source)

First Lady Michelle Obama Dons Hijab

Since the First Lady of the free world is now wearing a hijab so as not to offend Muslims, I'm wondering if she's willing to go even further. Some Muslims will be offended unless Mrs. Obama wears a full burka, so she should probably order one if she doesn't already have one. She'd better make sure she lowers her gaze in the presence of men, and she'd better not object to sex with Barack, since he's now free to beat her if she gets out of line. Of course, she should now be fine with Barack marrying three other women (or three prepubescent girls), since Islam allows this. Walid Husayin, Atheist Son of Muslim Scholar, Faces Life in Prison for Insulting Islam

But it's racist and Islamophobic to defend freedom of speech by taking a stand against Sharia.

QALQILIYA, West Bank – A mysterious blogger who set off an uproar in the Arab world by claiming he was God and hurling insults at the Prophet Muhammad is now behind bars — caught in a sting that used Facebook to track him down.

The case of the unlikely apostate, a shy barber from this backwater West Bank town, is highlighting the limits of tolerance in the Western-backed Palestinian Authority — and illustrating a new trend by authorities in the Arab world to mine social media for evidence.

Residents of Qalqiliya say they had no idea that Walid Husayin — the 26-year-old son of a Muslim scholar — was leading a double life.

Known as a quiet man who prayed with his family each Friday and spent his evenings working in his father's barbershop, Husayin was secretly posting anti-religion rants on the Internet during his free time.

Now, he faces a potential life prison sentence on heresy charges for "insulting the divine essence." Many in this conservative Muslim town say he should be killed for renouncing Islam, and even family members say he should remain behind bars for life.

"He should be burned to death," said Abdul-Latif Dahoud, a 35-year-old Qalqiliya resident. The execution should take place in public "to be an example to others," he added.

Over several years, Husayin is suspected of posting arguments in favor of atheism on English and Arabic blogs, where he described the God of Islam as having the attributes of a "primitive Bedouin." He called Islam a "blind faith that grows and takes over people's minds where there is irrationality and ignorance." (Read more)

Former Muslim Udo Ulfkotte on the Clash between Islam and the West

Udo Ulfkotte was born into a Christian family, but he eventually became an atheist. While traveling among Muslims, he converted to Islam in Afghanistan. He is now a Christian, and is an outspoken critic of Islam.

Ulfkotte believes that Islamic culture cannot coexist with Western civilization, and that Muslims should return to Muslim countries. This is quite different from my view. I love seeing Muslims come to the West, because it gives us the opportunity to confront Islamic doctrine, and gives Muslims the freedom to choose whether they will follow Islam or something else (a freedom they do not always have in Muslim countries).

But Ulfkotte and I agree that something has to change. Ignoring the problematic commands in the Qur'an can only end in disaster.

Muslim Father of 88 Children Marries Yet Again

One popular argument for Islam goes something like this: Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Surely God must be behind the rapid spread of Islam. Therefore, Islam must be the truth, since God would not spread heresy.

This is, of course, a horrible argument. Communism spread far more rapidly than Islam ever has, but few people would argue that it must therefore be from God.

One of the major flaws in this Muslim argument becomes clear when we consider the reason for the spread of Islam. The largest factor is Muslim birth rates (rather than, say, conversions to Islam). Many Muslim countries are classified as Third World Countries (which are typically associated with high birth rates), and even in more developed Muslim countries, we find men having multiple wives with unusually high numbers of children.

UAE's superdad is all set to tie the knot again, with the aim of hitting a century before 2015.

Father of 88 children, 64-year-old Daad Murad Abdul Rahman will marry 18-year-old Aisha in Jaipur (Indian state of Rajastan) after Eid.

Speaking to Emirates24|7, Rahman said: "The wedding was arranged by his Indian doctor. Meher [money bridegroom pays the bride's father] has been fixed at Dh20,000 and the nikkah [wedding] will be held in Jaipur."

Rahman, who lives in Ajman and Manama, has 50 boys and 38 girls. The eldest son Tariq is 39 years of age and the youngest is a few months old. "I will stop marrying when I have 100 children. I hope to achieve that with this marriage."

The sexagenarian could not conceal his excitement when asked about his new bride. “I'm thrilled about my wedding. She is a pretty girl. I have seen her photograph. I speak to her over the phone. I have applied for visa to visit India for the marriage. Most probably, I will leave for India after Eid."

"Every marriage is a celebration in our family as children get new clothes, sweets and gifts. We will have to cut at least four sheep for the festivities.

I will bring the new bride to Ajman a few weeks after the marriage," he added.

Rahman takes pride in the media coverage he receives. First featured in 'Emirates Today' way back in 2007, his growing family was later on 'Big Families' an international TV programme. "My new wife is impressed because she has already seen me on TV channels. Several TV people have come to my house to interview me and shoot my family members,” he said.

“We have just celebrated one Eid and the family is getting ready for the next Eid. The new bride will add more flavour to the festival mood in my family," he added.

Rahman gets pension from the UAE Armed Forces, financial aid and other benefits such as free homes from the government.

His family comprising 127 members live in seven homes spread across different emirates. Most of his children are employed in good positions (UAE Armed Forces, Police, etc). One of them is a businessman in the UK.

Rahman says he has been married 15 times. However, he has only three wives at present and the rest are divorced. Some of his ex-wives, however, still stay with him. (Source)

Muhammad ordered his followers to murder people who criticize him and his religion. Is it any surprise that some of his followers actually kill people for blasphemy? Further, is anyone shocked that members of a religion that regards Christians as the "worst of creatures" (Qur'an 98:6) would use blasphemy laws to persecute Christians? But let's all be tolerant of the intolerance. After all, to criticize Islamic law would be racist and bigoted.

Asia Bibi, a 45-year-old mother-of-five, denies blasphemy and told investigators that she was being persecuted for her faith in a country where Christians face routine harassment and discrimination.

Christian groups and human rights campaigners condemned the verdict and called for the blasphemy laws to be repealed.

Her supporters say she will now appeal against the sentence handed down in a local court in the town of Sheikhupura, near Lahore, Pakistan.

Ashiq Masih, her husband, said he had not had the heart to break the news to two of their children.

"I haven't told two of my younger daughters about the court's decision," he said. "They asked me many times about their mother but I can't get the courage to tell them that the judge has sentenced their mother to capital punishment for a crime she never committed." Mrs Bibi has been held in prison since June last year.

The court heard she had been working as a farmhand in fields with other women, when she was asked to fetch drinking water.

Some of the other women – all Muslims – refused to drink the water as it had been brought by a Christian and was therefore "unclean", according to Mrs Bibi's evidence, sparking a row.

The incident was forgotten until a few days later when Mrs Bibi said she was set upon by a mob.

The police were called and took her to a police station for her own safety.

Shahzad Kamran, of the Sharing Life Ministry Pakistan, said: "The police were under pressure from this Muslim mob, including clerics, asking for Asia to be killed because she had spoken ill of the Prophet Mohammed.

"So after the police saved her life they then registered a blasphemy case against her." He added that she had been held in isolation for more than a year before being sentenced to death on Monday.

"The trial was clear," he said. "She was innocent and did not say those words." Earlier this year, Pakistan's internet service providers were ordered to block Facebook to prevent access to supposedly blasphemous images.

Human rights groups believe the law is often used to discriminate against religious minorities, such as the country's estimated three million Christians.

Although no one has ever been executed under Pakistan's blasphemy laws – most are freed on appeal – as many as 10 people are thought to have been murdered while on trial.

Ali Hasan Dayan, of Human Rights Watch, said the blasphemy laws were out of step with rights guaranteed under Pakistan's constitution and should be repealed.

"It's an obscene law," he said. "Essentially the blasphemy law is used as a tool of persecution and to settle other scores that are nothing to do with religion.

"It makes religious minorities particularly vulnerable because it's often used against them." (Source)

Alexandria, Virginia (CNN) -- The Ugandan wife of an American-born man who pleaded guilty to providing material support to terrorists entered her own guilty plea on Monday.

Proscovia Kampire Nzabanita, dressed head-to-toe in conservative Muslim dress with her face covered, pleaded guilty to making a false statement when questioned by a federal investigator about her husband, Zachary Chesser.

Chesser, 20, was accused of posting an online attack against the creators of the animated TV series "South Park" due to the program's depiction of the Prophet Mohammed.

On October 20, Chesser agreed to plead guilty to the terrorist support charge, as well as charges of communicating threats and soliciting crimes of violence. He will be sentenced in January, and is expected to receive a sentence of at least 20 years in prison.

As part of Chesser's plea agreement, federal authorities agreed not to seek charges of aiding and abetting against Nzabanita, 26, who faces sentencing on January 28 for her guilty plea Monday.

According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's office for the Eastern District of Virginia, Nzabanita will serve no prison time but must leave the United States within 120 days and give up her legal status.

Federal Judge Gerald Bruce Lee allowed Nzabanita to remain free on bail of $250,000 and ordered that she reside with her mother as her guardian until the sentencing.

The news release from the U.S. Attorney's office said Nzabanita was questioned on July 21 by a Secret Service special agent outside her residence in northern Virginia.

In her plea agreement, Nzabanita admitted she lied in that interview by saying Chesser had attempted to fly to Uganda on July 10 to retriever her birth certificate, according to the news release. In reality, Chesser planned to ultimately make his way to Somalia to help the terrorist group al-Shabaab, the news release said.

According to an affidavit, Chesser tried to take his infant son with him on the trip, telling his wife it was part of his "cover" to make it less likely anyone would suspect he was trying to go to Somalia to join al-Shabaab. (Read more.)

Muslims Stone Israeli Ambulances Giving Care to Arab Boy

I don't know what's sadder: (1) the fact that Muslims would stone Jewish ambulances attempting to save an Arab youth, or (2) the fact that stories like this just aren't surprising anymore.

Jerusalem area Arabs once again have stoned two Israeli Magen David ambulances trying to help neighbors. This time, the medical rescue vehicles were trying to save an Arab boy who fell five floors from his home in El Azaria, a village between the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of French Hill and nearby Maaleh Adumim.

Magen David medics were resuscitating the youth when attackers began to pummel them with rocks from all directions, breaking the windshield.

Last week, a group of students and a visiting Australian narrowly escaped death when they made a wrong turn and entered an Arab village, where they were ambushed by local Arabs. One of the villagers tricked the students into driving further, where a blockade trapped the vehicle as Arab rioters attacked the car with rocks and metal pipes.

The driver was able to maneuver his car through a narrow opening and escaped the mob. (Source)

Obama Teaches Hindus about Islam

In the following video, President Obama claims that Islam is a great religion. A small minority of Muslims, however, has distorted the teachings of Islam. These radical misunderstanders of Islam have misinterpreted Muhammad's commands.

For instance, some Muslims have distorted the following passage (which obviously calls for peace, tolerance, and universal love), and they claim that it calls for fighting unbelievers.

Islamic Society of North America Issues Token Press Release Condemning Murders of Iraqi Christians

A few days ago, when I posted news about the brutal murders of dozens of Christians in Iraq, I mentioned that I was waiting for the standard token press release by ISNA (i.e. one of the press releases that say "We condemn violence" without ever dealing with the reason for the violence, namely, Muhammad's teachings). Well, here it is.

ISNA condemns in the strongest terms and is outraged by the recent barbaric attack which claimed the lives of fifty-eight innocent worshipers and wounded seventy-five others at the Sayidat al-Nejat Catholic Church in Iraq this past Sunday. ISNA urges the world-wide community to pray for the lives of those lost, injured, and affected by these attacks and urges the Iraqi authorities to diligently protect places of worship and ensure that people of all faiths are safe to pray in Iraq.

"ISNA believes in the rights of all people to worship freely without fear of intimidation or violence" said Imam Mohamed Magid, ISNA president. "The level of violence in this incident only heightens our responsibility to speak out against religious intolerance and hatred." He added. ISNA supports religious freedom in words and actions. In the past, the ADAMS center, an affiliate of ISNA and where Imam Magid serves as an executive director, raised funds to rebuild churches that were destroyed by extremists in Pakistan.

"Not long ago our partners in interfaith, from the Catholic community, stood with us here in America to condemn religious intolerance against Muslim places of worship; today, we stand with them as they grieve the loss of their fellow Catholics and reiterate our commitment to the right of their community to worship freely in Iraq" Said Dr Sayyid Syeed, ISNA National Director for interfaith and community alliances.

The Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella group that has ties to al Qaeda, claimed responsibility for these horrific attacks. The majority of the attacks and killings carried out by this group in the past have been against Mosques that do not agree with their violent ideology.

ISNA will continue to work with its interfaith partners to promote justice, peace and tolerance and stand against unlawful actions such as those perpetrated by religious extremists last Sunday.

All Christians 'targets,' Iraqi militant group says

CNN Reports:

All Christians in the Middle East are now "legitimate targets," al Qaeda in Iraq announced Wednesday, as the group's deadline for Egypt's Coptic church to release alleged Muslim female prisoners expired.

An audio message released Monday gave the church 48 hours to disclose the status of Muslim women it said are imprisoned in Coptic churches in Egypt.

The message purportedly came from the Islamic State of Iraq, which claimed responsibility for an attack on a Baghdad church Sunday that killed 58 people and wounded 75. The umbrella group includes a number of Sunni extremist organizations and has ties to al Qaeda in Iraq.
The group said the women's alleged plight was the reason it stormed the church.

Wednesday, the group released a new message saying, "The Ministry of War of Islamic State of Iraq declares that all the centers, organizations and bodies of Christian leaders and followers have become legitimate targets by the Mujahedeens, wherever our hands will reach them."
