British Aid Worker David Haines Beheaded by Islamic State (ISIS)

After beheading hostages James Wright Foley and Steven Sotloff in recent weeks, the Islamic State (ISIS) has now released footage of the beheading of British aid worker David Haines. Haines was captured in Syria, where he was delivering humanitarian aid to a refugee camp.

As with all such beheadings in the name of Allah, we can expect press conferences from President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron defending Islam against any possible criticisms.

(CNN) — British aid worker David Haines appears to have been executed by ISIS militants, according to a video posted Saturday to a website associated with the group, making him the third Western captive to be killed by the Islamist extremist group in recent weeks.

The ISIS video post showing Haines' apparent beheading called his execution "a message to the allies of America."

It is produced very similarly to the videos that showed the executions of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, the last of which included Haines and the threat that he'd be killed next.

The new video pictures a masked ISIS militant placing his hand on another captive, whom he identified as Alan Henning, a British citizen.

News of the gruesome killing came the same day that Haines' family released a brief message to his captors through the British Foreign Office.

In it, the family says, "We have sent messages to you to which we have not received a reply. We are asking those holding David to make contact with us."

A logistics and security manager for the Paris-based Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development, a nongovernmental humanitarian agency, the 44-year-old Haines was abducted in March 2013 near a refugee camp in Atmeh, Syria.

At that time, Haines was working to arrange for the delivery of humanitarian aid to people staying at the camp. He had previously worked on aid operations for victims of conflict in the Balkans, African and other parts of the Middle East, according to an ACTED spokesman.

Haines' face became known to the world in the ISIS video, released September 2, in which he looks forward and kneels as a masked ISIS militant stands behind him.

The militant says in that video, "We take this opportunity to warn those governments who've entered this evil alliance of America against the Islamic State to back off and leave our people alone." (Continue Reading.)

The seething rage and hate I feel for Islam and Islamists is overwhelming sometimes, and that's me seriously TRYING to be a decent human being and understanding that they are deceived.

However, there are times like this when the sickening disgust is so strong, that god forgive me, I just feel utter hatred for this evil. David I wish you or nabeel could give pointers on dealing with those feelings appropriately.

A book is judge by its content and deserves to be banned if it incites hate crime for any group of people. Quran is that kind of book. Evils use Quran as their weapon to fulfil their political agenda as we see in Arabian countries, Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. etc. David with his life threat exposed real violent face of Quran citing verses from Quran.

How many reporters’ head need to behead before civilized people come out of fear and ban Quran from publication for good of humanity and civilization?

It would appear the journalist converted to Islam for what he says in the video. Why then does he still get slain?

What is the best way to fight ISIS, then?

We fear the unknown. I recommend we study and understand the Quran. Below is from Chapter 57

In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.

1. Glorifying God is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, the Wise.

2. To Him belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things.

3. He is the First and the Last, and the Outer and the Inner, and He has knowledge of all things.

4. It is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then settled over the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth, and what comes out of it, and what descends from the sky, and what ascends to it. And He is with you wherever you may be. God is Seeing of everything you do.

5. To Him belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth, and to God all matters are referred.

6. He merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night; and He knows what the hearts contains.
