If you'd like to understand jihad, watch this:Washington (CNN) -- A new video shows what looks like the largest and most dangerous gathering of al Qaeda in years. And the CIA and the Pentagon either didn't know about it or couldn't get a drone there in time to strike.
U.S. officials won't comment on that, but every frame of the video is now being analyzed by the United States.
In the middle of the clip, the man known as al Qaeda's crown prince, Nasir al-Wuhayshi, appears brazenly out in the open, greeting followers in Yemen. Al-Wuhayshi, the No. 2 leader of al Qaeda globally and the head of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, has said he wants to attack the United States. But in the video, he looks unconcerned that he could be hit by an American drone.
The video started appearing on jihadist websites recently, drawing the attention of U.S. officials and global terrorism experts. U.S. officials say they believe it's authentic.
"This is quite an extraordinary video," Paul Cruickshank, CNN terrorism analyst, said.
The video shows al-Wuhayshi addressing more than 100 fighters somewhere within Yemen, Cruickshank said, a restive nation on the southwestern portion of the Arabian Peninsula. The al Qaeda leader, he said, is "taking a big risk in doing this."
But he doesn't mince words about his mission.
In a speech to the group, al-Wuhayshi makes it clear that he's going after the United States, saying "We must eliminate the cross. ... The bearer of the cross is America!"
U.S. officials believe the highly produced video is recent. With some fighters faces blurred, there is worry it signals a new round of plotting.
"The U.S. intelligence community should be surprised that such a large group of al Qaeda assembled together, including the leadership, and somehow they didn't notice," said Peter Bergen, CNN national security analyst.
There is good reason to worry.
Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, also known as AQAP, is considered the most dangerous al Qaeda affiliate. The CIA and the Pentagon have repeatedly killed AQAP leaders with drone strikes. But the group is now emboldened. (Continue Reading.)

This is the second time I am asking that a PERMANENT YouTube-hotlinked path be prominently placed here in AM, to your "3 stages of jihad" presentation, (at Wed 10 a.m. Eastern) up on the homepage, in an Al-Qaeda related blog item.
As you say at 1:23 in the remarks, this is "the most important" video we will ever see to understand Islam's true objective.

I think that's a textbook example of False Dichotomy. Here, let me give you options C and D.
Option C) They could have droned them but they were afraid of being branded "Islamophobes" by CAIR and other MB-linked organizations, so they opted instead to give them them glowing performance reviews and pass the hot potato around, hoping it will blow on someone else's hands.
Option D) Why would the brave mujahideen and their dhimmi and useful idiot helpers working in the CIA and Pentagon to attack the American Satan from within shed the blood of the brave mujahideen working to attack the American Satan from the outside? If the enemy within is more dangerous than any foreign invader, then the dangerouser enemy is the one who attacks both from inside and out. There's nothing like a good old pincer move, like in the battle of Cannae.

We need not worry about video, these are just the minority group of muslims. Rest assured that the majority of the peace loving muslims will save us from this radicalization of their peaceful religion ....NOT.

The US intelligence services - and by that I mean all of them - are useless. Worse than useless; they are infiltrated by Muslim moles.
It does no good to outspend the rest of the world on weaponry and military personnel when we have no clue what is going on in the world.
Even if we had valid intelligence, our leadership would be intellectually and morally incapable of understanding it or of taking correct action based on it.
Advice to all other countries wishing to defend themselves from al Qaeda: Don't count on the US for anything. Develop your own intelligence sources and your own strike-back capability. Share no information with the US.
