Farid Ghadry: I Indict My Religion

British teenagers Katie Gee and Kirstie Trup traveled to Zanzibar to help teach young Muslims. They were repaid for their kindness by having acid thrown in their faces.

Farid Ghadry, a Syrian Muslim, minces no words as he condemns his own religion for this brutal and unprovoked attack.

Times of Israel—I indict Islam.

Yes, I indict it for ignoring the terror against two innocent British teens in Zanzibar who were doused with acid. I do not give a damn what the reasons were and what justification those bastard Islamists had to change permanently the good lives of two innocent young teens who were there to help Muslims in the first place.

What is Holy about Ramadan when the Muslim bastards in Zanzibar use it to commit the unholiest of acts?

I am really, really angry.

Where are our Muslim leaders to speak out against such terror and to commit, once and for all, to its eradication?

Where is the King of Saudi Arabia, or the President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation? Cooperation on what? With the OIC’s silence, how could not anyone interpret “Cooperation” to mean to cooperate to disfigure the innocent?

Where is the Grand Imam of al-Azhar University, or the Arab League, or Ayatollah Khamenei, or the millions of other religious Muslim leaders?

Where is Erdogan of Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood? Why are they silent in the face of such atrocities committed in the name of Islam?

Where are all our collective Muslim voices to indict these senseless acts not even animals in a jungle are capable of?

Islam has become synonymous with terror and the target of justifiable and global contempt. The religion I was born into, and which shelters 1.3 billion people, has turned into a weapon of global destruction against the other 5.7 billion people who do not adhere to Muslim principles.

Islam no longer exists for Islam. Islam exists today to destroy non-Muslims.

I indict all of Islam because the religion that is supposed to support the needy and the helpless has become a cult of terror against the self-sufficient and the enterprising.

I indict all the silent Muslim leaders for their weakness. With their silence, they are feeding these acts of barbarism to define Islam.

I indict them for all the acts of terror committed in the past against thousands upon thousands of innocent people.

I am really, really angry at all the Imams, the Grand Muftis, the Sheikhs, the Mawlawis, the Ayatollahs, the Emirs, the Kings, the Princes, and whatever titles they embrace.

At the end, if they do not indict these acts publicly and courageousely all of them share in the savagery of Zanzibar. That is their legacy.

The Muslim leaders in the OIC and the Arab League must awaken from their slumber by committing serious funds to re-educate our youth and to rid the world of the cancer within, instead of remaining silent or accommodating the evil source of Islamic terror.

It is obvious political correctness and generous aid by the West is not making a difference.

In fact, Western countries have donated hundreds of billions of Dollars in foreign aid to Muslim countries, and we Muslims pay back the West by dousing their children, who came to help our poor and disfranchised, with acid. It is truly sickening.

Something must change. The West must change course to help us find our way, the hard way. This status quo cannot go on.

If you want to help Islam, then it is time to tie your help with what our leaders do or say, and not by how much intelligence they deliver.

Otherwise, stop buying our oil and gas. Let us perish in our own waste. Maybe, then, our leaders will speak out and cooperate with the West based on equality and not based on them forcing Islam upon the rest of the world.

Enough is enough. I am really, really angry.

May those British teens, and all who were injured by Islamic terror in the past, find peace and happiness. May they, and their families, forgive us for not speaking loudly enough. (Source)

Once again, the most common face of Islam is shown to the world. How the EDL could spin this to stir up more racist hatred in the UK. Another act of terror by Islamists, from the same religion of piece that brought you "Beat your women with sticks if you can see their ankle and cut off their ears and nose if you suspect them of being unfaithful!"

And they also say in Islamic countries they don't need a law that protects human rights?????

I don't believe any Muslims until I actually see them siding with us Islamopobes, racists, bigots, etc. Let their actions speak instead of the empty speeches.

simple_truth said...

If he indicts his religion, then why is he still a Muslim? Can he speak as he does and not realize that it is precisely his religion that holds those actions as divine intervention into a corrupt un-Islamic?

Like the man said - "Otherwise, stop buying our oil and gas."

However, the Democrats, at the behest of the environmentalists, have locked us into a Middle East straight jacket and criminalized the domestic pursuit of energy independence.

Red Herring. Tagiyya (lying to non-Muslims). When taysir (Mohammad's doctrine of easing of Shariah when it is not plausible, until there are enough Muslims/Muslims in power to enforce Shariah) is lifted, ALL Muslims will be required to live by and enforce Shariah law. Shariah law protects jihad acts such as this. It is Islam that is evil, it does NOT matter how many Muslims are "moderate" (i.e., under Taysir) or if those moderates engage in such tagiyya.

He says the barbaric acts aren't Islam Again a Muslim who doesn't understand what he believes, these are the ones enabling the real Islam to take over the world

If you help Islam then you are only helping and honoring the devil. You give him an inch and he will take a mile.

There is only one answer to the problem, and that is to expose Islam for what it really is, down to the last detail, thereby leaving nowhere for the devil to hide anymore. Anything outside of this is just weak, shameful compromise.

Thank you, Farid, now read your Sunna. Islam has justified these attacks. Islam has NOT been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists. Mo Ham Head himself would have approved of these life changing dastardly crimes against young women. He did similar things all the time. Read his biography, the Sira of Ibn Ishack. Read the 6 Hadith collections ....Islam is out to murder the world. Happy face :-)

Please can someone tell Saami Zatari, Shabir Ally, Rashid Adnan and all the other muslim apologists out there that once again Islamic doctrine is the problem.

Islam is a death cult. Now I applaud this man's courage for saying it like it is. Now my question is he says he was born into the religion of Islam but that does not mean he should remain in it especially when he knows the barbaric nature of the Islamic doctrine.

He should demonstrate his disgust by renouncing Islam and prove to all and sundry that he may have been born into Islam by accident of history but he is not going to follow it's death doctrine. Actions speak louder than words.

For one, they weren't Christian missionaries (the girls are Jewish) and weren't spreading any religion.

But let's pretend they were. Based on your comment, can we conclude that you approve of spraying Christian missionaries in the face with acid in order to keep them from misleading your children?

Rukiah: You really don't think before you post, and so with every post you look like a fool. I think you need to take some advice from Abraham Lincoln: "“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”"

Did you read the article? A Muslim is saying that a muslim did this. According to the original artyicle on this, the population of Zanzibar is 99% Muslims. There is no good reason to believe, especially since Muslims in the past have thrown acid at female students in the past that this isn't muslims. Are you seriously saying Muslims didn't do this? Trying to cover up what is happening is not going to convince us to stop looking critically at Islam, it just encourages us all the more to see that there is something to hide.

I don't know if you are sick, deranged, or simply taking the piss...Maybe all three. One thing is for sure: your comment is nothing less than what I'd expect from someone who wants Sharia for the world.

You did not expose anything all you are doing is trying to prove islam is terrible but thats YOUR OPINION. I read the articale three times. When the man said he was going to stick with his religon it's because Islam is a peaceful you don't see it that is why. Why are there lots of muislims in the world because they know Islam is peaceful. If you guys are not experts are scientist why are you here at this blog trying to tell people islam is terrible and it's a waste of time.

Foolster41 said...

"opinion" put forward by the facts of the violent passages of the Quoran and many many examples of violent Muslims. You see, we present evidence why we beleive Islam is not peaceful, but you don't bring counter evidence, you just say it's opinion and say we're hopeless haters.Islam is peaceful: because you say so, don't beleive our lying eyes of what the Quoran teaches and how Muslims seem to follow that command! Yep! That sure sounds honest!

Also, if Islam is peaceful, you are no doubt then reaching out to not only convince us, but also convince your violent coreligionists to stop being violent, since Islam would appear much more peaceful if Muslims stopped subjugating and killing non-believers. Please let me know how that's going, and if you will not I'd like to hear why.

Anonymous said...

I'm not violent you want to declare war onm Islam because you don't like what the Quran teaches. No it's an opinon, if the Quran is so violent why do billions of people follow it. People pay muslims to do terrorist attacks because they want muslims to be blamed. Muslims get paid by people like you to kill others and so the muslims will get blamed. But you are one of thoses who like to blame others. Your blaming muslims for being violent and not worrying about your faults.

Foolster41 said...

I never said you were violent. If you mean by "declaring war" telling what the Quoran says, then you are correct. You still havn't shown how it's an opinion, and how what is quoted from the Quoran is being misquoted. You seem to have a stuborn aversion to providing facts to back up your claims.

The reason there are so many peaceful muslims is because they are in western countries and are westernized and do not follow Islam's commands. Please show one muslim majority nation that respects the rights of women and infidels.

Why would muslims accept pay to make their religion look bad? Are you saying all terrorists are desperately poor? (This is untrue, there have been quite a few well off ones, and wealty donors to terrorism). This claim makes no sense at all. If poverty and religion is on the only factor, why aren't there more poor Chiristan or Buddist terorrists?

"Muslims get paid by people like you to kill others and so the muslims will get blamed."
Personal ad honim. Like me? I am only pointing out what I see as bad in Islam. You could actually prove how I'm wrong, but instead you attack me as somone who would fund terrorism to make Islam look bad! Such Honesty! I hope you take a good hard look at what you wrote.

What does my faults have anything to do with anything? Are you saying only perfect people can criticize? Well then, I guess you are either perfect, or are a hypocrite for criticizing Christianity and people here!

Joe Bradley said...

"I'm not violent you want to declare war onm Islam because you don't like what the Quran teaches."

The Qur'an does NOT teach - it commands. How can you call yourself a Muslim if you ignore the commands of the Qur'an, ALL commands including the ones which command hatred, violence and subjugation of non-Muslims? By ignoring the Qur'an, which is assertedly the infallible word of Allah as handed to Muhammed through Gabriel, you have become an apostate committing blasphemy and heresy at will. I would not think that a Muslim can pick and choose which parts of the Qur'an he observes and which parts he will ignore. At the appointed time, you WILL be violent! The Qur'an commands it and you have no choice if you are to remain a Muslim.

"No it's an opinon, if the Quran is so violent why do billions of people follow it."

In direct response to this question I have but one answer - FEAR. You are witness to the violent treatment of non-Muslims in Muslim lands. However, the more appropriate observation is that there is almost total chaos, violence and disorder in predominately Islamic countries.

"People pay muslims to do terrorist attacks because they want muslims to be blamed. Muslims get paid by people like you to kill others and so the muslims will get blamed. But you are one of thoses who like to blame others. Your blaming muslims for being violent and not worrying about your faults."

That's right out of the Islamic playbook. Like Hitler, Muslims blame others for their perversions and problems, usually the Jews. It is the Saudi's, Iranians, Pakistanis, etal who pay Muslims to kill so that Jews and Christians will get blamed.

Philip M Trivett said...

Yes it is a sadthing when people will dessert their religious beliefs for the sake of money. Jesus said, you cannot serve two masters, God and Money!
But I could not for a million pounds stand up and deny that I do not know Jesus Christ and believe that in my heart. It would mean I was not a genuine Christian. Just as a man who cheats on his wife does know he has a wife he is cheating on. He may not love her but he can't turn around and say she does not exist because he has met her and knows here!
So are Muslims who take Money from western powers to kill other muslims genuine muslims?
If a man claims to be a Christian, goes out and commits acts of violence, social disorder, crime and terror against Christians Jews and Muslims because they were not like him, then has the Bible and teachings of Christ put against his actions and reasoning, would it condone or condemn his actions as the acts of a true Christian?
If we then took a muslim who did the same things and examine his actions by the Quran, would that show the same outcome?

Philip M Trivett said...

Rukiah, I know of 6 young men from Birmingham in the late 1990`s were convicted of terrorism in Yemen and the British Government washed their hands of them. I saw the press conference on TV where the community leaders came out to protest and encourage the Islamic community and the British public to pressure the foreign office into obtaining their release due to a gross miscarriage of Justice against 6 innocent friends! The British Government did not respond
You see, in this part of Yemen were a group of Christian Nuns. These Nuns regularly become raped and shot by unknown assailants and yet they still send out women to go into poor towns and into prisons to give humanitarian aid to the neglected. And in one of those prisons is a young man, from Birmingham, UK who admitted that he was sent, not by The British Government, but by community leaders in Birmingham to commit acts of terror. These Nuns were among his targets and yet knowing this, they still go back month after month to tend to the needs of this would be assassin when everyone, including their friends in Birmingham have turned their backs on them.
Politics is politics I know. But these terrorists were sent by Islamic leaders in Britain to kill Christians in an islamic country. Not by people like me or Foolster.
I could get you names, but lives would be at stake if I did! But The Church I heard this account from was in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
What a shame it it to feel in 2013, that you can`t speak openly because to be too open could result in a murder 1000`s of miles away, in the name of The Peaceful religion called Islam!

I had to laugh when YOU, the undisputed king and master of the "Blame Game" (as you have demonstrated in this thread) had the unmitigated temerity to attempt to pass your scepter onto others by using your Taqiyya tricks.

Sorry - you remain the undisputed king and will keep your crown.

Foolster41 said...

You have serious reading comprehension problems, or you are intentionally misrepresenting what I say.

I didn't say you were violent in that quote, I called your fellow muslims violent (the ones, who are you know, being violent).

I pointed out that if you were being consistent, you'd spend equal if not more time telling the Muslims who are being violent that Islam is peaceful, rather than spending all your time telling the non-Muslims who point at the violence done by Muslims.

I didn't call you violent. I called you inconsistant.

Please answer the points instead of attacking people (calling them haters. accusing them of funding terrorism, throwing tu quo que arguments about faults). If Islam is peaceful then please show how the violent passages quoted are not actually violent (they are for defense only). Please cite sources of the Quoran and respected Quoraniuc Scholars.

Foolster41 said...

Also, you have a bad habit of repeating without clarifying. You never answered my question above.

What does our faults have to do with critisizing what Muslims do? Should only perfect people criticize? Are you saying people have no right to criticize murder, torture, and mistreatment if they have faults? If not, then what do you mean? Do you believe yourself perfect? Do you condemn these actions? Don't you believe, as a Muslim you should condemn such actions (instead of spending all your time telling people to stop criticizing Muslims)? If not, why not?

Anonymous said...

No, I did not say I was perfect. Your faults has to do with critisizinng muslims because, not all muslims kill, most muslims are peacefull. If you don't belive me then I don't know what. Not all muslims murder or torture. You know THE FACT CHRISTANS KILL TO, SO WHAT IS YOUR POINT. DO YOU WATCH THE NEWS MOST OF THE TIME YOU SEE MURDERS AND GUN FIGHTS CHRISTANS ARE INVLOVED IN. I'm saying you guys are playing the blame game to. I'm saying not every single muslim in the world kills. You act like if a christan never murdered someone.

Foolster41 said...

" not all muslims kill, most muslims are peacefull. "

Notice once again Rukiah misrepresents what I say. I never said any such thing, I pointed out the problem that most violence to Muslims. Why does Rukiah feel the need to misrepresent me if she is being honest?

Perhaps Rukiah could show these cases where Christians are killing, and quoting their own scripture to do so? Once again, she's saying something without proving facts to back it up. Of course we have many documented cases of Muslims committing violence and citing the Quoran to justify it. Where can she find cases of Christians being violent and quoting scripture?

"You act like if a christan never murdered someone."
Of course Christians have murdered, but they do so disobeying Christ who said

"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell." (Matt 5:21) and " “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[h] But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." (Matt 5:28-39)

Foolster41 said...

Also, if Rukiah is not perfect, and believe those with faults shouldn't criticize, then Rukiah is by her own standards a hypocrite, since she has criticized Christianity, and those who point out the violence of Islam!

Foolster41 said...

Sorry for the triple posting, but I'd also like to say I notice that you never apologized for your past misrepresentation of what I said (your claim I was saying you were violent, when I clearly wasn't.). Instead you ignore it and move on to something else (misrepresenting what I say again). People here might be willing to take you more seriously and you'd appear more honest if you had the humility to admit your mistakes.

And I noticed you didn't respond to my question about condemning this. Do you condemn this? Do you think it is good to spend equal (if not more) time telling Muslims to stop being violent? If not, why not? How is your progress convincing Muslims going? If you aren't doing it, why not?

Joe Bradley said...

You obviously subscribe to the belief that if you cannot win an argument through honest and logical discourse, then place your opponent(s) on the defensive by making them feel guilty through outlandish accusations and blame.

You ARE the king of the blame game.

Unknown said...

This is for Ugas . . .

Peace be unto you

If Christian missionaries Spreading their religion were misleading children, you should have the right to confront them? HOWEVER The prophet (Blessed be his name)claimed he wasn't teaching anything new nor was he contradicting anything written by the prophets before him. Since Muslims are encouraged to read The Ingial (the Gospels)which are the story of Isa (JESUS) the missionaries were not spreading lies. Although some believe our bible has been corrupted The Koran tells us the early church had "The Book" (The Gospels and the rest of the Christian Bible) with them.

If they already had "The Book" with them how could it be corrupted?

Foolster41 said...

@Larry: Add also the fact that our bible today is from existing manuscripts from around 2 AD, about 500 years before Mohammad was even conceived! I've had exactly 0 muslims explain how this works out of the many I've asked.

Islam is an impossibility.

Anonymous said...

No you don't know what really happend your impossible, You should see what mistakes the bible has. Christianity is impossible they worship a man that they say is a 'sun god' and says in the bible HE WORSHIPS GOD. Your impossible you never understand how things work. You think Islam is impossible check your religon.

Foolster41 said...

Rukiah: You really are amazing. Once again you say a bunch of things, but don't provide a shred of evidence! And then claim we are ignorant!

So then what did happen that makes the Quoran possible? That's not an explanation. If I were to start a religion based on George Washington, but made claims that differ from what people wrote about him in the 18th century, and claimed those writings were corrupted, would you think me sane?

They say he is the "son" S-O-N of God, not the Sun god. You make basic mistakes like this, and never apologize, and never actually show proof for what you say, and yet seem to hold yourself up as more knowledgeable than us!

Also I notice no citations for how Christianity is impossible (in that case, I guess that all the more means that Islam is impossible, since Islam claims to be a fulfillment of that "impossible" religion. So, now you've admitted there's absolutely no reason for staying a Muslim.

Either Christianity is true and Islam is false, or Christianity and Islam is false.

No I put it on Casp Lock on perpous. You want proof. And such things here:
You blame muslims for attacks most wars werent created/stareted by muslims they were started by non-muslims such as:
The first war(17million dead)
The second war(50-55 million dead)
Nagasaki atomic bombs( 2oo,ooo dead)
The war in Vietnam (over 5 million dead)
The war in Kosovo ( 500,00 dead)
The war in Iraq (so far 1,200,000 dead)
Afghanistan, Burma ect.

Joe Bradley said...

Once again Rukiah you have strayed from the original thesis of your argument which is to draw an equivalency between Quran commanded violence and your desperate search for any violence commanded of Christians by the Bible. The wars you cite were not religious actions taken by Christians in an attempt to enslave non-Christian populations. You must provide proof that any of the wars that you cite were initiated by Christians, upon command of the Bible, to force Christianity upon the non-Christian population. Failure to provide this proof will render your post irrelevant. I would even settle for a published statement of the U.S. Commander In Chief, at the time the war was initiated, screaming Jesus Is Great" at the time he ordered the first attack in any of your cited conflicts. The same cannot be said for Islam whose combatants routinely yell "allahu akbar" immediately prior to their murdering rampages which are always in the name of Allah. Here are a very few yet recent examples of Islamic violence committed in the name of Allah:

2013.08.27 (Herat, Afghanistan) - Four engineers are among six contractors found shot in the head by Sunni fundamentalists.

2013.08.26 (Damasak, Nigeria) - Islamists pump machine-gun fire into a village a night, killing six sleeping residents.

2013.08.26 (Latakia, Syria) - Sunnis kidnap and murder a Shia cleric.

2013.08.25 (Bama, Nigeria) - Twenty-three youth are lured into a deadly ambush by Boko Haram Islamists.

2013.08.25 (Baghdad, Iraq) - Religion of Peace bombers take out ten patrons at an outdoor cafe.

2013.08.25 (Baqubah, Iraq) - al-Qaeda bomb a popular market, sending thirteen shoppers home in body bags.

And so you continue to confuse secular violence with religious violence in your attempt to convince yourself and others that all violence committed by a Christian nation is religious in nature and an attempt by Christians to take over the world. As I have told you before, this is due to your Islamic training. As you know, most, if not all, Islamic countries are theocracies and Islam is the basis for religion, law and government. Such is not the case in Christian countries. Religous violence for the purpose of world domination is a trait of Islam, not of Christianity.

Qur'an 33.27 And He made you heirs to their land and their dwellings and their property, and (to) a land which you have not yet trodden, and Allah has power over all things.

Qur'an 21:44 Do they see Us advancing, gradually reducing the land (in their control), curtailing its borders on all sides? It is they who will be overcome.

Foolster41 said...

My my. Rukiah. Name calling and ranting is not a sign that the truth is on your side.

I answered this in the other thread. it's quo que fallacy. Even if your list of every single dead in every war (as if that is honest, since you're comparing the apples of war (including agressors dead) with the torture and murders by muslims!) was accepted, it doesn't prove that Islam is peaceful.

Philip M Trivett said...

Rukiah is right on two main points here!
Typos can happen to anyone and there have been many wars with deadly effects on the world. But how many of the mentioned wars were started by the God of The Bible? Not one. But in the name of Islam many wars and acts of murder are started and they are clearly encouraged to continue.

I find it partly humorous that muslims accuse Christianity of invading Iraq in 2003. If this is true, then did Christianity liberate Kuwait? Or was it political? And Christians arose and spoke out against the atrocities in other conflicts too, very vocally! But where is the Arab League in the conflicts I. The Middle East? Are they not concerned with what is taking place?

Philip M Trivett said...

Foolster, you see, because you don't listen to the truth of Islam, something must be wrong with You! Islam is pure and true and good, and the sun ( or is that son) shines out of Mohammed's waste pipe. So if you can't see that, you have the problem and deserve to have names called about you! It can't be the contradictory, non historical, murderously false, Islam that is in error which a 6th of the world has fallen for, can it? It must be you and me plus Sam and David who are the nut jobs!

Anonymous said...

You know what you people deserved it you know you people are more violent every single non-muslim are trying to destroy Islam and they are trying to show Islam in thr wrong way.

Foolster41 said...

Rukiah says we deserve insults - because we ask for evidence for what he says! To Rukiah "ignorance is knowledge!"

He says we are "violent" because we are trying to "destroy islam" because we point out (non-violently here) how Islam is violent, and how Muslims use violence. To Rukiah mere words pointing out evil can be violent (thank you Rukiah, for showing you are for censorship, and thus indeed are an Islamofacist)

"War is peace, peace is war". I recommend Rukiah read a book called 1984 by George Orwell. He might find common ground with the word-twisting thought police in the book (though spoiler: their the bad guys).

Joe Bradley said...

GEE RUKIAH, now why would all non-Muslims be trying to destroy Islam? Perhaps it's because Islam and the Book-Of-Hate pose an existential threat to all non-Islamic religions as well as their practitioners. As a matter of fact, Islam even poses an existential threat to Islam. In their spare time (between suicide bombings, rape and torture) the Sunni and the Shia are trying to wipe each other out. Thanks to the Book-Of-Hate violence is commanded of all adherents to Islam. If you aren't violent by nature and you don't intend to become violent there is no place for you in Islam and you should leave immediately for another religion. Those who commit violent atrocities in the name of Islam are the true, orthodox Muslims for it is they that follow the commands found within the pages of the Book-Of-Hate.

Gee now why you never understand the truth of Islam something mudt be wrong with your brian. It must be not working propley.

Joe Bradley said...

It is because I understand the truth of Islam that my brain is working just fine. You, on the other hand, don't seem to understand Islam at all. I have often said that those that understand Islam the least are Muslims.

Anonymous said...

I understand Islam better than you. You are confusing yourself.A muslim knows their religon better than a christan. A non-muslim knows Islam the least but they know thier religon.

Foolster41 said...

If you know Islam so well, then you know all about the passages that condone rape of "Why your right hand posses", right? Please explain those to us.

If you know Islam, you can explain the "corruption paradox" of how Christian writings (that we base our bible today) from ~500 years before Moahmmad was born can contradict what Mohammad said to be fulfilling. Don't run away. If you're a Muslim explain how this can be possible (no Muslim has so far even tried to explain this when asked, they all run away). The "Corruption" claim makes no sense since what we have today is from copies from before when Mohammad was born.

About when was the bible corrupted?
Do you know who did it?
What evidence is there of this corruption?
What happened to the "true" versions of the scriptures (that match Mohammad's teachings)?

"I'm not violent . . ."

The Qur'an says differently:

[Violence Commanded By The Qur'an]

Which do you expect everyone to believe, you or the Qur'an? Are you placing yourself above Allah and Mohammed? They have commanded you to be violent! Who are you to disobey?

This would make you either a liar or an apostate.

If Mohammed was such a great guy and Allah was such a great god, they would NEVER have supported the violent teachings which are found in the Qur'an. Do you now claim that you know better than Allah and Mohammed through your professed non-violence?

Rukiah, you have the worst disease of all, one which feeds the hate machine that you have come to know as Islam. It is the disease of intentional and willful blindness.

YOU HAVE A DISEASE I WAS TRYING TO SAY WHY GET INVOLVED IN THIS IF YOU DON'T KNOW ISLAM BETTER THAN ALLAH OR MUSLIMS. YOUR VIOLENT YOUR TRYING TO DESTROY A RELIGON. THE QURAN DOSE NOT TEACH VIOLENT THINGS YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW. Thats all.... why do you care you have better things to do, by the way, you run away. You don't understand, you never understand untill you die. Your the ones that hate, you don't even know it. Your the ones need to recheck. IT'S LIKE SOMETHING IS BLOCKING YOUR BRAIN. It's your problem, you never learn. You people blame all your life you have nothing better to do than blame, run your mouth all about TRASH. Your the blind ones you never see the Truth. I don't hate, it's you that hate. You disobey. You don't respect any reigon BUT YOURS. YOU PEOPLE ARE SICK. YOU CAN'T EVEN LEARN OR UNDESTAND THE CONCEPT. YOU PEOPLE ARE CORUPTED. Thats all, you don't know all you do is play hte blame game all your life. No wonder why your sinfull. YOU BLAME PEOPLE ALL YOUR LIFE. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO IN LIFE BUT THIS............BLAME!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried but you just don't listen. You still wont listen when your mouth BURNS IN FIRE.

you are just all talk not once have you showed us any haddith or quran. all we see is that you constantly accusing us of hate when we have evidence to back it up with. for instance you can;t back up why uthman went for a burnathon to rewrite the quran and even quoted the haddiths. yet you still haven;t been able to provide anything of that sort. instead all you do is baseless allegation but no evidence.

Jeremiah 5:21 "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not."

Rukiah, The Bible calls out to you. Wipe the veil of Islamic deception from your eyes and unplug your ears. You are in denial and, while you may be a very good person, you live in a world of conflict in which you are torn between the sugar coated lies that you hear in your mosque and the hard and ugly truth of Islam that you read in the Qur'an, replete with hatred, bigotry and violence.

It's all there and, suspecting that you would deny the truth of Islam's violent nature, I gave you the link to the Surahs that you need to read, yet you still remain blind and deaf to them.

You state, "THE QURAN DOSE [sic] NOT TEACH VIOLENT THINGS . . .", yet there it is within the Book-Of-Hate that you refer to as the Qur'an. You further state that you do not hate yet your Pollyanna notions of Islam are NOT reflected in Islamic text.

You sound like you are a decent sort who is passionately defending the religion that has been forced upon you from birth. You may not have had any choice in worshiping Allah and Muhammed but you no longer have that excuse for continuing with Islam. It is clear from your demeanor in this discussion that, while you may be a person of peace, Islam is doing nothing to put you at peace even though it professes to be the religion of peace. You will never find peace in the pages of the Book-Of-Hate.

Philip M Trivett said...

So There you go once again. It is not the message of Islam that is at fault. it is the people who hear but won't accept it who are at fault and they have something wrong with THEM! They are Mentally ill, sick in the head, they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, They have big noses, what ever it is it is the personal attributes of the person who objects who is at fault. So Islam teaches it's followers to scar, harm or beat the illness from the unbelievers or be extra merciful and put the unbelievers down like a sick dog because they sick in their minds!
Unlike Christianity's message of love and heal the sick and preach truth to them! to raise the dead to life, to bring sight to the blind and if there is any "Judging and Putting Down" to be done, Jesus said HE would do that when he comes again, Christians are not commanded to and if they do they act outside of what Jesus told his followers to do and his words condemn them, not encourage them! It is The Devil who comes to kill, Steal and destroy! Jesus came so that we sinners would have life and life in abundance!

Philip M Trivett said...

You speak to a Jehovah's Witness who leaves the false faith, the other witnesses accuse them of having something wrong with them personally. It is the same with The Mormons and all other cult groups, it is not the message that is at fault it is the person, personally who is sick in the head in someway, or they have committed some grievous sin or that they were never a true believer in the first place, it is something wrong with them personally! Then wicked lies and rumours are spread, they get rejected by their family members and communities. In the case of Islam, even physically killed in some cases, openly. But in western cults it is often a murder of the persons character and reputation. Fear keeps cult members in line, it is the same with Islam, Not fear of God that in expressing doubts and questioning will result in burning in hell when they die, but fear that their neighbour, relative or even a complete stranger will take it upon themselves, in accordance to the Qurans teaching and put them to death or maim them for expressing doubts or speaking freely! that is what keeps a Muslim at bay and in the religion!

Of course no one said any such thing, You're going to have a hard time getting people on your side if you keep lying about, ranting at and insulting people. If doesn't make you look very honest you know?

So wait, Christianity teaches to hate Islam, but Christianity's documents (Reporting what Jesus said and did) for our bible pre-dates Islam by 500 some years, but Jesus was Muslim? How does that work?

"A paradox, a paradox, a most confusing paradox!"

Telling the truth isn't "insulting" it's telling the truth. You haven't even tried to disprove how Islam is violent (such as the verses that condone rape I quoted above). Instead you've tried to bully people into stop saying things about Islam (by saying it's "insulting" and that we should stop) that you won't even try to prove is false. This is not how civil discourse works. If you don't like what someone says, show how it is false.

Joe Bradley said...

Rukiah, Stop whining! Your warrior-prophet Muhammad would be ashamed of you if he saw you whining. Your tears are an unfounded contrivance to heap guilt on the guiltless.

You can really spin a good yarn. Rukiah, you have proven yourself to be such a well of misinformation, misunderstanding and deception that it is almost impossible to take anything you say seriously.

You assert the most ridiculous of claims in a blatant attempt to put others on the defensive. Surely you can't be serious that you believe that Jesus was a Muslim? That's pretty whacky! Perhaps you are merely a troll masquerading as a Muslim?

You state, "I NEVER INSULTED A PROPHET", yet you just did. Didn't anybody ever tell you that Jesus was a Jew, NOT a Muslim?

I just can't take you seriously anymore.

"Really, what are you goging to do about it. I can't stand you people you call Muhamad terible names. Your the ones whining and blaming each other and spending all your lfe like this, it's your fault."

We're going to keep telling the truth about Mohammad and trust people aren't btaken in by lies.

Ladies and gentlemen, a moderate Muslim. The rape, subjegation and murder by Muslims is our own fault because we call Mohamamd terrible names (i.e. tell the truth in pointing out that he was a marauding thieving torturing, slaving rape encouraging pedophile)

Of course Rukiah still won't present proof (not even try!) to disprove why we dislike Islam.

Foolster41 said...

Also, again we're not "blaming each other". We're blaming the people who are actually doing terrible things - Muslims. And yet you complain about this, and hypocrically blame non-muslims! Why do you have such a hard time admiting that it's Muslims who do these things and condemn them for it, and convince them to stop, rather then spending all your time harassing non-muslims who point it out and try to shut them up (you even said you wish this blog was shut down!). It gives one in the impression that you're not interested in stopping the muslims, but just in stopping non-muslims from pointing out what Muslims do!

Joe Bradley said...

I don't like you very much either because you call Isa terrible names. You called him a Muslim, remember? He was, in fact, a Jew. Your warrior-prophet Muhammad would roll over in his grave if he heard you whining, complaining and blaming others for exposing your defective logic which is based solely on groundless assertions. Before you cry and blame others for that which represents a defect in you, ask yourself, "Would Muhammad approve?"

Philip M Trivett said...

Ali, do you not see that this is apart of the problem between Christians? A Christian is exhorted to seek The Truth in all things, There is grace for the repentant sinner but that is not fully accessed until The TRUTH is acknowledged. Truth is paramount! Even at The Christian's expense. That means that the committed christian. is exhorted to honestly examine his own faith and to examine the faiths of others from what they themselves say they believe. That is what many here do.
However, I have encountered many muslims, just as the Mormons, Jehovah`s Witnesses and all other cultists, they look at Christians from what they have been told Christians believe from what Islam says Christians believe..
You are asking Christians questions about a Christianity that does not exist but in Islam. You condemn Christians for heresies that Christians Don`t believe they commit because they are not Christian beliefs in the first place.

Now, you say Christians are violent. Yes there is violence among nations where the primary religion is Christianity. But if a True Christian commits violence in the name of Christianity, then he/she does have The Word of God, The Holy Bible against their actions.
But for a person who commits violence in the name of Islam commits violence in The Name of Islam then, then be he a true believer or not, The Quran condones his/her actions. By his action alone, you could not tell if they are believers or not. But still the instructions within the Quran will accept the actions done in it`s name even if the person was not a real Muslim believer.
For a Christian, The Bible will call you to a higher calling and standard. and for them to repent..

Do you not see that?

Rukiah, you need to really stop lying (also, the all-caps shouting is really annoying). You once again present no proof to back up your claims.

There are not 70 versions of the bible. There are different translations, but they are based on the same source, and the variations between each is minascule, disregarding paraphrases which are not accepted as canon gospel (i.e. Christians aren't rejecting standard translations for paraphrases) Proof point: Show reasonable differences between the translations.

Also, all of the translations come from manuscripts we still have today, from around 2nd century AD. That's a few hundred years before Mohammad was born. So the claim that the bible agreed with Mohammad at the time of his life appears to be flat-out false. proof point (Which I've asked a number of times already): explain how the bible was corrupted from the Islamic agreeing version. Who corrupted it and when? What happened to the original gospel, and why does only the one we have today exist? Why did Mohammad claim to fulfil the gospel when it was apparently already corrupted some 500 years before he was born?

proof point: Show where the bible encourages to take drugs and smoke cigerettes. The bible warns to not polute one's body, and says one can drink, but not to do so in excess. It seems you are once again lying about the bible.

Here's your chance to present proof and show you actually are willing to argue with facts instead of making things up. Or you can do what you usually do and run away and troll another thread with these same falsehoods. I'm guessing you're going to do the later, but I'd be happy if you proved me wrong and actually showed some effort.

I'll take your silence as you admiring you were wrong about these points.

I notice that, as a common theme of your posts, you are quick to accuse those with which you disagree of either having defective brains, blocked brains or no brains at all. I find it curious that you blame opposing ideologies and religious beliefs on a physiological cause surrounding your allegations of malfunctioning brains in your opponents.

Perhaps, once again, this is a direct result of your Islamic training and whispered discussions of a VERY taboo subject within the Mosques you attend.

Yes I meant to say Translations, the translation has words that has a different meaning than the english type. My caps lock is not sticking out I did it on purpouse. Oh please you make mistakes in life to so I don't see the problem.

Foolster41 said...

Translation or version, that's still not proof. prove that there is a significant difference between meanings in translations. we're not going to just believe you because you say so!

Also you need to show how the bible was corrupted, since that's what Muslims claim, and yet the text we derive all our translations from come some 500 years before Mohammad was born!

The fact that you failed to post any evidence still silently admits you don't have any proof.

There different versions just to fit the people, the change it every generation.

That's still not proof. Show how the translations are significantly different in meaning.

Heres proof it has been changed over time check this out:

Foolster41 said...

This is the best you can do, Rukiah? Two passages?

1.)The claim about Mark's Ending: I have that note in my bible (as I suspect most translations do), so this is hardly surprising to me. I've seen it before. The trouble is, Jesus still appears to the two Marys, thus an eye witness account of the Resurrection just before the cut-off. Thus, weakening an argument that the Resurrection was made up and tacked on later.

2.)You might notice a pattern in the dates of these changes. They happen around the 3rd century at the latest. So, if the bible had already been "corrupted" by then, then why on earth would Mohammad appeal to Christians and Jews to their own books? If versions existed that agreed with Mohammad, what happened to them? Why was Allah so sloppy at preserving the truth that would confirm his prophet? The problem is still you can't both appeal to Christianity as proof that Islam is true, and then in the same breath say that the bible has been corrupted. It makes no sense,

3.)The examples of these "great differences" in the article is two things: a story that really doesn't make much theological difference if discarded, and one testimony of the Resurrection by the prophets. No evidence is presented to support what is only an assumption, that the other apostles who wrote about seeing Jesus came chronologically after the Mark passage, thus it must have been emulating Mark and making it up. This isn't proof, it's confirmation bias.

4.)If the bible is false, then Islam is too false (See point #2), since it apeals to the bible as proof of it's validity. Both the Quoran and the Bible cannot be true.

1.)Is that the basis you're going to rest on, whether I was there? I'm pretty sure you weren't either, so this isn't presernting proof, this is just saying I'm wrong! I've already pointed out how these passages are not strong evidence of "corruption" nor do they make any major theological changes to the bible (since as I said, the ressurection is infired in the portioin that isn't added on).
3.)You still havn't yet provided proof of this!
4.)You know I hate, but how? What have I ever said that's hateful. If you don't have evidence but "just know" this isn't good enough, it's just slander.
5.)It's not an excuse, it's basic logic. If I'm wrong, show how I'm wrong with evidence. Once again, you don't provide evidence to show how if Islam claims the bible as fulfiling it, how can the bible be corrupt and the Quoran true?

I hope people more knowledgable in biblical history will also look at this in more deph and correct any mistakes, but I'm going to look at the article "Trying to hide?"

The article says: "staggering 14,800 differences from today's Bible and yet it still remains the word of God?"
The article never tells us what these differences are, so we are to take, on the writter's word that there are these changes. Yes, there very well be mistakes, as the article later claims, but these are corrected when looking at all of the manuscripts and seeing the common sum of the whole. No evidence is presented that these mistakes are anything above minor spelling or grammer errors that make no difference in theology.

"as Tony points out, the 'original' Greek text was not written until around the mid fourth century and was a revised edition of writings compiled decades earlier in Aramaic and Hebrew. "
This statemnt is not remotely true. The oldest manuscripts date from around 125 AD, long before the 4th century.

The person who wrote this was not a hisotrian, and laughably so. The council of Nicea (which he refers to as the council in 325) wasn't about accepting what books into canon that was already for the most part descided. (Ehrman, Bart. Fact and Fiction in The Da Vinci Code, pp. 15-16, 23, 93)

If you are so honest, and not just looking for stuff that confirms what you already agree with, why didn't you do research to make sure it was true? The rest of the article is on some nonsense about how Jesus was actually a follower of an Egyptian magic cult, but there is no evidence presented to justify this. It's garbage plain and simple. Really, this is the best you can do?

Foolster41 said...

Article 2 "Big mistakes in the bible"

Mark 16:9-20. Irrelevent (I've already said why, Jesus is said to have apeared after his death, so obviously the ressurection was not just "tacked on" later.)

"verse 8 gives clear instruction from Jesus (peace be upon him) to those in front of him; "Go forth and tell no one"
I have no idea what version of the bible he's reading. The verses says " So they went out quickly[a] and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid."
It says they told no one not that it was a command. This is the careful, thoughtful schoalr you want to cite? Really?

Apparently this is the only passage in the article. The rest is devoted to how these mistakes might have been made, which is pointless without the proof that they are mnade. The title of this article is really desciving. Both "big" and "mistakes" (plural) are factually incorrect. it should be title "a small mistake in the bible" but that wouldn't be exciting and contraversial and push the Islamic message (notice who wrote the article, and the obvious motives they would have) that the bible is corrupt.

So instead of presenting new proof, all you've done is presented the same proof AGAIN! I've already explained why it's not relevant, but you don't show how it's relevent, you just repeat! This is seriously getting boring.

What have we learned? That Rukiah is a dishonest person who will cite articles that agree with him with the shoddiest research and doesn't care to make sure their true as long as they agree with him.

Rukiah: I seriously hope you think about this. If what you believe is true, why are you so careless in citing articles that you don't bother to check if are true? If you don't believe it's true, then why are you still a muslim? I do sincerlly pray you will find the truth. Despite what you say, I don't hate you.

Foolster41 said...

One more article I missed, which once again just repeats the same claims in the other two articles (again, this isn't how evidence works! No matter how many times you present faulty logic or irrelevant evidence, that doesn't make it not faulty or relevant!)

"In the conclusion to Mark, the description of Jesus appearing to various disciples after his resurrection does not appear in the earliest manuscripts."
true, but, as I've said He apeared to the Marys post-death.

"And in Luke, the crucified Jesus’ plea that his executioners be forgiven “for they know not what they are doing” likewise does not appear in the earliest versions of his Gospel."
How is this being omitted make a major theological difference to Christianity? If there was an addition of him cursing the people crusifying Him, that would be worth noting.

And that's it. This is supposed to show that Christianity is false. At worst it proves there are some small portions that may not be original, but these are already noted in most bibles, as far as I know (mine notes these), and do not make any major theological difference if discarded.

The problem is, you people wont understand so you keep on telling lies. Am I bad because I'm muslim. You are saying, I'm eleven and I terrorize, This terrorizes me.

Foolster41 said...

The problem is, you can't stop lying and changing the subject instead of proving what you say. I pointed out major flaws in the "proof" you presented:

-Not being specific about differences between translations
-making strange misunderstanding (or intentional misrepresentation) of what the text says (confusing an action for a command)
-presenting only three very weak examples in that throwing them out makes no theological difference to Christianity
-and making factually incorrect statements, such as about the council of Nicene and the age of the oldest manuscripts.

How do you respond? By showing evidence that my objections are wrong, or presenting other proof? By apologizing for appealing to sloppy research? No! By saying we said things that we never said!

No one said you terrorize. No one says you are bad because you're muslim (and there are plenty of good people who are Muslims, though it is because they ignore Mohammad's commands to subjugate non-muslims). Thanks for once again showing how dishonest you are and unable to rationally answer by throwing ad honim red herrings.

Now then, could you actually show:
How is the bible is corrupt (be specific)?
The paradox of how the bible can be corrupt and yet the Quoran which claims to fulfill the bible be true?

You being a child has no bearing on anything, unless you think children should be able to say whatever they want and censor adults who respond to them!

At least you admit that you don't actually have evidence for the corruption of the new testament, or proof that Islam isn't violent. I have to wonder though, if you know there is no evidence, why are you still a Muslim?
