William Lane Craig on the Islamic Denial of Jesus' Crucifixion

Regardless of theological background, New Testament scholars and Historical Jesus scholars agree that Jesus' death by crucifixion is an established fact of history. This means, of course, that the Qur'an contradicts an established historical fact. William Lane Craig addresses the absurdity of the Islamic position:

Q4:157-158 is very difficult to exegete. It is better to first look at a clearer passage of the Qur'an, 19:33 that states that Jesus died. Q4:157-158 being unclear should be understood in the light of the clearer passage Q19:33

Q4:157-158 is only "difficult to exegete" in the sense that it's difficult to twist to make it say something factual when in reality it is plainly inaccurate, i.e. false.

Have you analyzed the passage in its original classical Arabic?

Because elsewhere the Quran states that Jesus would die (19:33), and the Arabic "la ma ..." can be translated as "and that ...", and the Quran is antidocetic (as is the NT), why interpret it in any other way?

I'am Christian,God Bless you I Want REALLY want your HELp. Today a pastor came in my home and said God left jesus. I quoted pSALM 22, He says psalms 22 infact says that God left jesus

Jesus says Father will not leave me,YET he LEAVES AT TIME OF CRUCIFIXION
32 “A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me JOHN 16 VERSE 32

THEN JESUS SAYS
4 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken ME .marks 15 verse 34

NOW THE ISSUE COMES HERE.............................

For God so loved the world that HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".JOHN 3 VERSE 16

I searched on ur website i didnt got answer..... pleasae help me to prove that God didnt left jesus nor turned his back at time of CRUCIFIXION.........
please discribe john 3:16..... Which says that God GAVE his son...means he gave,forsake for us
