Al-Qaeda Blamed for European Forest Fires

The "death by a thousand cuts" strategy is actually more dangerous than the typical terrorist strategy (e.g. blowing up buildings). Large-scale attacks require large-scale preparation, and Western security organizations have a good track record of stopping large-scale attacks. But when terrorists simply say, "Hey, let me go start a fire in the woods," and they repeat such attacks over and over, they do cumulative damage without much risk to the terrorists.

The Telegraph--Al-Qaeda has been blamed for a recent series of forest fires across Europe, as the head of Russia's Federal Security Service claimed they were set by arsonists as part of the group's low-cost attack strategy.

"One should note that setting fires to forests in the countries of the European Union is a new tendency in al-Qaeda's strategy of a 'thousand cuts'," Alexander Bortnikov said, according to state news agency RIA Novosti, at a meeting of heads of security agencies.

"This method allows (al-Qaeda) to inflict significant economic and moral damage without serious preliminary preparations, technical equipment or significant expenses."

In linking al-Qaeda to the deadly wildfires, Mr Bortnikov pointed to calls to launch a "forest jihad" by various extremist websites which he said also publish detailed instructions about how and where to best carry out arson.

He said it was very difficult for special services to find and prosecute such arsonists.

Deadly fires have swept through forest land in EU countries such as Portugal and Spain over the past few months, killing scores of people and forcing thousands to evacuate. (Continue Reading.)

Yes the cult of peace(death) did it again, true islamic style. By now we shouldnt be surprised. These muslims are practicing to play with fire so they can be use to it when theyre go to hell. Wasnt it ayatollah that said muslims love DEATH and unbelievers love LIFE. ? Go figure.

This proves that the Koran really only focuses on, draws out, cultivates, magnifies and glorifies the worst aspects of human nature.

"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adultries, fornication, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." Mat 15:19, 20

There is nothing holy about the holy Koran. Most of its followers are completely unaware that they are honouring the devil in the place of God.
What we see happening in Europe is nothing new, as is also the best tactic to use in exposing and defeating the cause of the problem.

"I am convinced that nothing more irksome and harmful could possibly be done to Mohammed or the Turks [Islam] (more than with all weapons) than the publication among Christians of their koran. By reading it Christians may see what an utterly accursed, shameful, wretched book it is - full of lies, fables, and all abominations... Therefore my kind and Christian petition to you, my gracious and dear sirs, is: Be pleased to allow this book freely to circulate, without hindrance, for the glory of Christ, for the good of Christians, for the harm of the Turks [Islam], and to the disgust of the devil."
Martin Luther to the city council of Basel on October 24, 1542.

You said it well "the Koran really only focuses on, draws out, cultivates, magnifies and glorifies the worst aspects of human nature."

We need an Air Bender. Mr. Shyamalan was right. The Fire Nation has declared war (and they've BEEN warring against civilization and against hope for 1400 agonizing years).

But I don't know any Air Benders. I only know a Jewish Rabbi that walks on water and calms the storms. I wonder if He'd be interested in helping us stop the "Fire People"?

Peace, Luv & Smush to Islam, y'all!

KAFIR AND PROUD!!

Islam is a man made so call religion that can not get along with any religion like Hindus, Buddhist, Christians, etc. The followers of Islam's agenda has nothing to do with peace like they are trying to sell in the West. Does Islam really mean peace? Well, since 2001, there has been a little over 19,600 Islamic terror attacks carried out by Muslims who were following the teaching of Muhammad in the Qur'an. These Islamic Jihadist Groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Egypt Islamic Jihad, Palestine Islamic Jihad and more, causing violence & terror attacks in the world by Killing, Beheading, Suicide bomb, Rocket attacks, Detonating bomb, Lashing, Honor Killing, Stoning, Crucifying, Hanging and More. If Muslims could be honest with themselves and open their heart to seek the truth, they would realized all the errors and inconsistency in the Qur'an and how they work hard to hide these harsh/embarrassing facts in the Qur'an and they're indeed true.

@Tom: That's a pretty good analogy. All of use are under attack by a group that do resemble the fire nation. Hot-headed, impulsive and destructive. I guess one problem with the analogy is being a fire-bender is racial, and not religious obviously, so not perfect, but not bad.

One nit though, "Mr. Shyamalan" didn't write that, it's from the animated TV show which came before and is a 1,000,000 times better. watch the TV show if you haven't, it is really good. It's well written, well animated, the bending looks like it's DOING SOMETHING and it's just... good. (Yeah, I'm being a bit of a nerd here, but I really did love the TV show and the movie is just... not very good even just looking in terms of filmaking (shots used, storytelling, etc.) :P)

...Oh and did I tell you about that scroll I found in the secret temple? :D
