Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Sentenced to Death for Apostasy in Iran

Meanwhile, Muslims in the West are complaining about Islamophobia.

IRAN--A trial court in Iran has issued its final verdict, ordering a Christian pastor to be put to death for leaving Islam and converting to Christianity, according to sources close to the pastor and his legal team.

Supporters fear Youcef Nadarkhani, a 34-year-old father of two who was arrested over two years ago on charges of apostasy, may now be executed at any time without prior warning, as death sentences in Iran may be carried out immediately or dragged out for years.

It is unclear whether Nadarkhani can appeal the execution order.

“The world needs to stand up and say that a man cannot be put to death because of his faith,” said Jordan Sekulow, executive director of The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).

“This one case is not just about one execution. We have been able to expose the system instead of just letting one man disappear, like so many other Christians have in the past.” (Read more.)

And for all the doubters, here's what Islam teaches about apostates:

I am really saddened by all this,I hope he is in peace, spiritually. In his case I would probably not have lasted so long.

I am not made of martyr material.I would be a hypocrite to say otherwise. My strong point, and my real interest is the intellectual debate, exchange of ideas,in favor and against Christianity, the existence of God,and now Islam.

I really hope God is comforting him. What rotten news.

At work I just recently got to a know a girl who I just knew by sight. And to my surprise it turned out that she is an ex-Muslim,a born-again Christian, who used to wear the hijab.

This is the first time I know an ex-Muslim in all my life.

I asked her questions about Islam and though she had been a religious Muslim she told me she had never heard of:

Mohammad in the Bible

Or that Jesus would come back a second time according to Islam

And only a little bit about a Mahdi to come

And she had never heard of Ahmed Deedat.

That shows that David Wood was right, alot of Muslims don't know much about Islam, but they all, literally all, believe Muhammad was a real prophet and that the Koran is the literal word of God.

If it is true that CAIR seeks equality for all, why have they said nothing against this outwardly? And how can Islam call itself a religion of peace?

Sad need. Not the first, nor the last. But we can rejoice in Christ that our suffering will be over one day soon.

Should we condemn to death those who switch from Christianity To Islam ? after all it could be considered Apostasy, But therein lies the difference, 99.999% of Christians believe in the sanctity of life, and that to kill is against Gods will, add to that, that God Gave us free will, and a set of rules to live by, it is My understanding that in Islam, the rules were set forth by Mohamed, not by Alah. But then again the old testament did say something about an eye for an eye, so if we took that literally, and were so inclined, we could justify the murder of a Muslim, for every Christian who is murdered by them, regardless of whether that particular Muslim was guilty of a murder or not, thus guilt by association..... Perhaps we should just grab any Muslim off the street, even though grabbing an Imam would be more effective, imprison them and threaten to kill them unless The Christian is set free. As to martyrdom, for a Christian it really should make no differance, as we are taught that we will be reborn into Gods kingdom, unless of course we have been condemned to eternal damnation, for Sins against God and our fellow human beings. I don't really know what Islam teaches it's followers, as to what awaits them, and I hope someone will enlighten me as to the deal about the seventy two virgins.......At any rate, All of these scenarios are just as un-acceptable, as the fate that awaits Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, He aparently felt that getting the Christian word out to as many who would listen, was worth the risk to his mortal life, after all he could have played it safe, and left Iran many many years ago, and immigrated to a predomanately Christian Nation..... regardless of the Name you call the most supreme, The great spirit, the one we call the creator, He (or She) Will settle this when the time is right, and we do not have much longer to wait..........
WE ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE.
WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A TEMPORARY HUMAN
EXPERIENCE

When i read this, these verses came to my mind, i hope they can be useful for many of my sister and brothers in this site..

Matthew 5:11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth...."

John 16:2 "the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me."

1 Peter 4:13 "But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16 However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And,
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”[a]

19 So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Phillipians 3:10 "I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead."

Colossians 1:24 "Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church."

Acts 5:41 "The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah."

Acts 21:12 "When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”

Please notice our God is not a full hather "god" as Allah is, he doesn't commands us to kill, to rape, steal etc etc... And if we are to die for his testimony we as Christians should rejoice on that... We are the salt of the earth...

God Bless You All!!

This proves to me that Islam is barbaric.

Muslims whine and cry in the West, but look at what happens to a man whose only crime is leaving Islam.

Just the fact that he was arrested in the 1st place proves Islam is barbaric.

Was Oliver Stone's son arrested and put on trail for his life for converting to Islam?

no.

This proves Islam is false.

I guess it wouldn't have done any good for him and his family to escape Iran in search of asylum in another country. The slimeballs in the Sharia Enforcement Unit of Interpol would have hunted him down and ensured that he was dispatched back to Iran.

*A serial liar as the President.

*A drug cartel gun-runner as the U.S. Attorney General.

*The head of Homeland Security who views Christians, Conservatives and Military Veterans as terrorists.

*An international law enforcement agency (Interpol) doing Islam's bidding in violation of their own charter.

Jesus Christ said, “As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be before the coming of the Son of Man.” Matthew 24:37. What was it like in Noah’s day before the flood? Here’s the answer: “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence” Genesis 6:11.

Surprise indeed... the writer actually thinks 'Punishment by death for apostasy from Islam' is an 'opinion'.

And what's more... the writer is actually advocating that Muhammad did indeed come to bring genocide to "specific group of people" who rejected his 'Messenger-hood' and Allah's message through him.

Indeed Allah loves if you first love him, and hates those who reject him and his messenger.
And Muslims want us to believe Allah is indeed the God of the highest level of love?

I find it strange that Hitlary Clintonista bleats about ultra-orthodox Jews in Israel yet remains silent while muslimes slaughter and persecute people of other faiths in their various islamonazi states. Maybe the multi-million dollar business dealings she's had w/islamonazi petrostates might have something to do w/this moral myopia.

Kufar Dawg said...

The amoral Western world remains mute as muslimes murder and persecute people of other faiths. It just really goes to show you how corrupt politicians are these days.

Thank you Usama for trying to explain you god and prophet, but please consider this:

Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Youcef is innocent.
A Prisoner of Conscience.
Remember when the world was intent on protecting and giving refuge to prisoners of conscience?
I do.
In those days, someone like Youcef would be granted asylum in the West.
Nowadays, Muslims claim the mantle of refugee, and run from lands they hold to lands they would conquer.

I just want to say thanks to Indonesia Man for telling us about muslo-nazi persecution in Indonesia, because our MSM never does and I imagine Indonesian Man is taking some personal risk in criticising Islam and Indonesia -- especially if he still lives in Indonesia.

Kufar Dawg said...

Anyone notice how the muslo-nazi trolls here have nothing to say about stories like these? Probably because they fully support the execution of islamic apostates.

The secret surprise is that the writer admits that Qur'an 9:5, and 29 advocate warfare against unbelievers. I thought that was manifest.
