I wonder who programmed him to say that.

Funniest quote, "Sharia is most inhumane law"

More sarcasm I see .

Please open your eyes and use your God given brain. This man has not been programmed. Not only does he know the Qu'ran quoting the verses and explaining them and have gone to court to defend his right to quote the Qur'an and the Hadiths, but his very life has been threatened for challenging Islam. At first Kim, I thought you were an objective person who is not afraid of the truth however inconvenient that truth is, but I see that you are blatantly not being objective and really not seeking for the truth.

I quoted you a scripture about a week ago, however, I will quote it again so you will understand the implications of your not honestly seeking for the truth. Here it is

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. 2 Corinthians 4,3-4.

I am praying for you.

Would you point out where Daniel Scot said something wrong. References would be useful.

Kim,
I was just wondering which of the rules of Sharia are the most admirable, and cannot be found any any other set of laws. This would demonstrate to me, that Sharia is set apart and valuable. I admit I am ignorant of this, and I am hoping that you can enlighten me.

The verses the Pastor qouted don't equate Taqqiya. Allah swt merely says that if a person fears for his life then he can lie about his faith IF he is certain that his life is in danger.

The verse that he quotes are "Allah has already ordained for you [Muslims] the dissolution of your oaths. And Allah is your protector, and He is the Knowing, the Wise" (Noble Qu'ran 66:2) has nothing to do with Taqqiya. If you had just read the previous verse, it's talking about the time the Prophet took an oath not to eat honey because of a comment from one of his wives and Allah swt told him not to make unlawful what he made lawful

This whole "Muslims practice Taqqiya to win us over to their side" is a lie.

It is obvious that some of us do not think deeply about issues before we make comments. I wonder why it is so difficult for people to see the truth in what this man is saying! EVEN IF YOU DONT WATCH THE NEWS at least do yourself a favour try and examine what is happening to Christians in muslim countries. The justification for all these is the Quran and the hadiths. There is no longer any excuse for ignorance in this age of information. All the information you need is at your fingertips. Why are there no non muslims allowed to enter certain areas of Saudi arabia? Why are there no churches allowed in Saudi arabia? Enough of this tolerance bunkum.Know the truth, Tell the truth and the truth shall set you free.

May God bless and protect Pastor Scot and Dr Wood. You guys are really laying your life on the line for the Gospel of our Lord.
Most people in the west are really ignorant of the details of islam. they are either too lazy to investigate its claims and history or too busy watching reality shows. Wake up people- arise from your slumber! You are toying with your freedom.
I pray that the futility of following islam will be be made known to muslims. Even mohammed says he doesn't know where he's going. Its like a blind man leading a group of blind people. What do you expect.Jesus Christ is the Way

"Even mohammed says he doesn't know where he's going."

First of all, every Prophet of God already has his destination preset (Paradise). The whole point of our destiny being left untold is to make us strive that much more in our life to finally achieve our goal. There wouldn't be much of a point in following our Religion and obeying God if all of us were guaranteed to go to Heaven without account now, would there?

But let me ask you this (and every other Christian); If you have a strong conviction that Jesus died for your sins and God loves you so much that he will automatically put you in the Kingdom of Heaven, then man, what are you doing wasting your time living this abysmal life? Ask God to hasten your death, or better yet, just kill yourself now (yes suicide is a sin, but Jesus already paid the price so it's all good).

Why take the risk in going through all these hardships here in life when you (believe) you already have the boarding pass to a superior and eternal home?

Dear Kim,
Whatever this pastor is saying it’s true. Pakistani society is not religious tolerant society. They treat Christians and other minorities like dogs. They treat them what every way they like. In Islam so called (religion of peace) there is no peace and justice system. If a non-Muslim quote anything from Qur’an (so called the book of Allah) which is against the Muhammad or Islam, there is law against this person called blasphemy law and with the emended of 295c, the person is liable for death penalty.
By the way sharia is in human, it is not a justice system, it might soothes to male Muslims, because in this way they can have child bride, they can have more than one wife’s. They are allowed to beat there wife’s. They can kill any non-Muslim without any trial (like what is happening in Pakistan). If you have any doubts come to Pakistan and see it yourself the realty of Islam.
For God sake please open your eyes, it’s not propaganda.

We stick around because people like you need to be told you've been had by Muhammad, and have the Truth told to you.

Btw, fatalism is an Islamic thing, so why bother murdering for Allah since Allah may throw you into Hell-fire anyway?

Mahdi said...

@Hugh

Well you're not doing a very good job at that. Besides, I was merely pointing out how absurd the belief in Jesus dying for your sins is.

But I suppose debating on an Internet blog is better than the Kingdom of Heaven.

Mahdi. "The verses the Pastor quoted don't equate Taqqiya."

Disputing the meaning of Koran and Hadith is all well and good, except for the fact that Christians in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia etc... are still marginalized and in some cases dehumanized. Also, there are many Muslims in those countries that would emphatically disagree with your take on those Suras and Hadith. So my answer to you is at least in the West we CAN dispute the meaning of these verses.

"Absurd."

You believe the testimony of one man, who by his own admission, thought it was Satan speaking to him in that cave. Do you realize if Muhammad were put on trial and was asked to produce evidence of his "revelation," he would have been dismissed in no time? Furthermore, if he had insisted upon his claim of prophethood in the manner in which he did from Mecca to Medina, people would naturally, and quite reasonably, think he was nothing short of the demon-possessed man he feared he was.

I have a question. What was it about Muhammad's encounter in that cave that would have convinced you he was what he claimed to be? I don't mean what happened subsequently to that: If Muhammad were a prophet at that precise moment, how could he have blown such a "revelation" in such a spectacular fashion?

You see Mahdi, if anything, what Muslims believe about Muhammad from the cave to the grave, is, well, absurd!

My Two Sense said...

Mahdi said, "If you have a strong conviction that Jesus died for your sins and God loves you so much that he will automatically put you in the Kingdom of Heaven, then man, what are you doing wasting your time living this abysmal life?"

John 14:6 "Jesus said, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

So "God loves you so much that he will automatically put you in the Kingdom of Heaven" is not precisely true. You have to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior to be accepted into Heaven.

At least that's the theory that I remember from my long ago Sunday School days. I'm agnostic now.

To answer the question you asked...

"But let me ask you this (and every other Christian); If you have a strong conviction that Jesus died for your sins and God loves you so much that he will automatically put you in the Kingdom of Heaven, then man, what are you doing wasting your time living this abysmal life? Ask God to hasten your death, or better yet, just kill yourself now (yes suicide is a sin, but Jesus already paid the price so it's all good).

Why take the risk in going through all these hardships here in life when you (believe) you already have the boarding pass to a superior and eternal home?"

Yes we all do have the longing to be done with this life and go to our eternal home with God in heaven. But it is because we are Christain we can and are willing do endure the hardships of this life. The only reason we will go to heaven and are called Christians is because Jesus endured and went through much hardship by taking the wrath of God upon Himself that we justly deserve so that we can stand before God justified and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So we understand that so much has been done for us that we are willing to stay on this earth and endure hardship for the blessing of others. We been blessed so much we are glad to suffer and be a blessing for others. Trough it all God is glorified which is the purpose of our life and what brings us joy.

and what you said about Islam

"There wouldn't be much of a point in following our Religion and obeying God if all of us were guaranteed to go to Heaven without account now, would there?"

My take on that is if your obeying God so that you would have a guarantee to get to heaven it is not a religion. I believe that religion is centered on the worship of God which means its all about him. When you are doing it just for your sake to get to heaven your not worshiping God but yourself. So the more you try, the more the focus is on yourself the further you get away from God. Im not just talking about Islam im also taking about the Christains that try to work their way to heaven. We were given the law to show us that we can not live up to the standard of God. Because He is Holy we will all have to give an account before Him for every sin. In His love and mercy he has made a way through Christ who took our sins on Himself and by us being united with him through faith we are given his righteous account. We are guaranteed to go to heaven for God looks at us as united with Christ. That is the option God gives either a perfect record through faith in Christ or you can try to make your own which you know yourself how good it really is judging by a perfect standard.

When you begin to understand that you begin to obey not to have a good scale before God and hopefully get to heaven but because you been loved so much you want to obey out of your love for Him.
