There have also been serious incidents in Karachi in Pakistan in the last days, in which Talibans have attacked Christian communities.

Unfortunately the Pakistani media is not recording the entire incident, much more is obtaind from the Christian news organizations.

I have been informed that Christians were publically executed on the street by these jihadists (whether that information is true or not I am not able to confirm).

I fear this is only going to get worse, and yes Christ will overcome.

Jesus warned us multiple times

"Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be(W) wise as serpents and(X) innocent as doves. 17Beware of men, for(Y) they will deliver you over to courts and flog you(Z) in their synagogues, 18(AA) and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake,(AB) to bear witness before them and the Gentiles...Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, 22(AJ) and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake.(Matthew 10:17, 21–22).

Again Jesus says in (John 16:2)
They will put you out of the synagogues. Indeed,(B) the hour is coming when(C) whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.

And again in (John 17:14)
I have given them your word, and(B) the world has hated them(C) because they are not of the world,(D) just as I am not of the world.

When the diciples were persecuted the rejoiced.
"The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. 42Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.[b]
(Acts 5:41-42)

These Muslims are not obeying the Quran! Christians are not to be killed. The Quran teaches that Christians are to be humbled.

"Fight those who believe not in God and the Last Day and do not forbid what God and His Messenger have forbidden -- such men as practise not the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book -- until they pay the tribute out of hand and have been humbled." 9:29

In this case, I wish that these Muslims would obey their Quran. That way, at least the Christians would remain alive.

Lord, Please open the eyes of Muslims to truth, grace, peace, and love.
