Muhammad: The Suicidal Messenger
According to Islam's most trusted sources, Muhammad repeatedly tried to kill himself. Indeed, he tried to kill himself so many times that we can fairly call him "the Suicidal Messenger."
In this video, we examine passages on Muhammad's suicide attempts in the History of al-Tabari, Ibn Ishaq, and Sahih al-Bukhari, showing that the real purpose of Islam was to keep Muhammad from hurling himself off a cliff.

Kuwait: 27 Dead, 227 Injured in ISIS Suicide Attack on Shia Mosque
So far, our leaders' strategy for dealing with the rising tide of terrorism has been to praise Islam and pretend it has nothing to do with terrorism. That strategy doesn't seem to be working.
BBC—The death toll from a suicide attack on a Shia mosque during Friday prayers in the Kuwaiti capital has risen to at least 27, the interior ministry says. Why would a young jihadist blow himself up in the name of Allah? Watch this to find out:
Another 227 people were wounded, it added. Images circulating online show bodies on the mosque floor amid debris.
The blast hit the Imam Sadiq Mosque in a busy area to the east of Kuwait City.
An Islamic State-affiliated group said it was behind the attack. IS has carried out similar recent attacks in neighbouring Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
However, this is the first attack on a Shia mosque to take place in the small Gulf state.
A Kuwaiti MP, who saw the attacker, said the mosque was packed with some 2,000 people when there was a loud explosion, Reuters reported.
"It was obvious from the suicide bomber's body that he was young. He walked into the prayer hall during sujood [kneeling in prayer], he looked... in his 20s, I saw him with my own eyes," Khalil al-Salih told the news agency. (Continue Reading.)

Talha Asmal: Great Britain's Youngest Suicide Bomber
British community leaders insist that Talha Asmal was "no different" from other teenagers. But there were three important differences between Asmal and other British teenagers. First, Asmal was a Muslim. Hence, he believed in the teachings of Muhammad. Second, unlike most other Muslim teenagers in Great Britain, Asmal learned that Islam commands Muslims to wage jihad. Third, unlike most people, Asmal was willing to do what he believed was right, regardless of the consequences. Put those three features together, and you get jihad.
How could anyone have stopped Talha Asmal from turning to jihad? Notice that it's very difficult to keep serious Muslims from learning that Islam commands them to wage jihad. Any Muslim with access to Islamic texts or a computer can learn what Islam teaches. Notice also that it would have been almost impossible to keep Asmal from waging jihad once he learned what Islam commands. Some people are wired for obedience, and no one can convince them to go against their beliefs.
It seems that the only way to prevent Asmal from waging jihad would have been to convince him that Islam is false. But instead of convincing Muslims that Islam is false, politicians and the media do everything in their power to promote Islam and to protect it from criticism.
Politicians and the media have a lot of blood on their hands. Does anyone seriously think that if Asmal had been a Buddhist, or a Hindu, or a Christian, he would have launched a suicide attack anyway?

To understand why Talha Asmal blew himself up for Allah, watch this:BBC—Community leaders in the home town of a West Yorkshire teenager who reportedly carried out a suicide bombing in Iraq have spoken of their shock.
Talha Asmal just before his suicide attack
Dewsbury councillor Masood Ahmed said Talha Asmal, 17, was "no different" from other teenagers, and people in the town were "devastated".
Asmal is believed to have become Britain's youngest suicide bomber, in an oil refinery attack south of Baiji.
His family say he was groomed online and described his death as a "tragedy".
At least 11 people were killed in the car bombings carried out by four suicide bombers near the city north of Baghdad on Saturday.
Social media reports linked to militant group Islamic State (IS) said Asmal, going by the name of Abu Yusuf al-Britani, was among the attackers.
Asmal would be Britain's youngest known suicide bomber. Another West Yorkshire teenager, Hasib Hussein, was 18 when he blew himself up on a London bus in the 7 July 2005 attacks. (Source)

Pakistan: 14 Dead, Dozens Injured as Muslim Suicide Bombers Attack Churches
Politicians and the media continue to pretend that ISIS is an anomaly. But long before anyone had heard of ISIS, Christians were being killed in Pakistan, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, and other countries where Muslims outnumber Christians.
Many Christians in the Muslim world face daily persecution. Meanwhile, most Christian leaders in the West are too worried about being called names to speak against the ideology that fuels the brutal deaths of their brothers and sisters.
Suicide bombers are willing to lay down their lives to bring death. Can we not at least speak out to defend life?

Reuters—Bombs outside two churches in the Pakistani city of Lahore killed 14 people and wounded nearly 80 during Sunday services, and witnesses said quick action by a security guard prevented many more deaths. To learn why jihadists attack churches, watch this:
A Pakistani Taliban splinter group claimed responsibility.
Islamist militants in Pakistan have attacked Christians and other religious minorities often over the last decade or more.
Many Christians, who make up less than two percent of Pakistan's population of more than 180 million, accuse the government of doing little to protect them, saying politicians are quick to offer condolences after an attack but slow to act to improve security.
Sunday's blasts occurred minutes apart in a majority Christian suburb of the eastern city. Police said it seemed they targeted two churches, one Catholic and one Protestant, that are very close to each other.
After the explosions, enraged residents protested and lynched two suspects, police said.
"I was sitting at a shop near the church when a blast jolted the area. I rushed toward the spot and saw the security guard scuffle with a man who was trying to enter the church. After failing, he blew himself up," said witness Amir Masih.
"I saw his body parts flying through the air." (Continue Reading.)

To understand violence in Islam, watch this:Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN)—At least 45 people were killed and 60 others wounded Sunday when a suicide bomber attacked a crowd watching a volleyball match in the Yahyakhil district of Afghanistan's southeastern Paktika province, according to a spokesman for the provincial governor.

Volleyball is a popular sport in the region.
In 2010, a suicide car bomb exploded in the middle of a group of men playing volleyball in northwest Pakistan. That attack left 30 people dead and 52 wounded.
Sunday's attack comes the same day the nation's parliament agreed to allow NATO forces to remain in Afghanistan after 2014.
It's unusual for an attack in Afghanistan to kill so many people.

At Least 21 Dead in Suicide Attack on Shia Mosque in Baghdad
While Western politicians, the media, and Muslim organizations continue to assure us that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam, no one bothers to give convincing proof to the terrorists that Islam is a religion of peace.
Baghdad (CNN)—A suicide bombing in a predominately Shia area of Baghdad has left 21 people dead and 25 people injured, according to a police source with knowledge of the incident speaking to CNN by phone. The source asked not to be identified for security reasons. For more on jihad, watch this:
The bomber targeted a Shia mosque in the city's northeast al Harithyia neighborhood, the source said. As of Sunday, there has been no claim of responsibility.
The past few weeks have seen a series of car and suicide attacks on Shia targets, some of which have been claimed by ISIS.
Although Baghdad's perimeter has appeared to hold firm against ISIS encroachment, the militant Sunni group has made strategically valuable gains in the country's Anbar province, west of the capital.
ISIS, which calls itself the Islamic State, has been accused of massacring Shiites in areas it controls. (Source)

Nigerian Security Forces Arrest Ten-Year-Old Suicide Bomber (and It's a Girl)
There were four suicide attacks by women in the past week in Kano, Nigeria. Now Boko Haram is strapping bombs to little girls. Meanwhile, politicians and the media in the West continue to defend the religion that leads to these tactics. Lots of blood on lots of hands.
Daily Independent—The security forces said on Wednesday they have arrested three suspected suicide bombers, among them two female teenagers, 10-year-old Hadiza Musa and 18-year-old Zainab Musa.
The third suspect, a male, was identified as Iliya Dahiru.
They were arrested along Zaria road in Katsina. . . .
Coordinator of the National Information Centre, Mike Omeri, who disclosed this in Abuja, said the suspects were arrested in a Honda CRV car when they were asked to disembark for security checks.
Hadiza was discovered to have been strapped with an explosives belt and immediately, Iliya and Zainab made attempt to escape with the car but were blocked by concerned Nigerians, Omeri said.
“It is on this note that we appeal to parents to consciously observe and watch their children’s activities to prevent them from participating in unwholesome activities, particularly acts of terrorism,” he said.
He also warned parents against engaging private Koran teachers for their wards, advising rather that they be taught in selected regular Islamic schools. (Continue Reading.)

Four Suicide Bombings by Muslim Women in One Week in Kano, Nigeria (American Feminists Still Silent)
Boko Haram has sent four female suicide bombers to their deaths in Kano in the past week. These women are often raped and then told that they can only regain their honor by carrying out a suicide attack for Allah. Where's the outrage?
(Reuters) - A female suicide bomber blew herself up in a college in northern Nigeria's biggest city of Kano on Wednesday, killing six people and critically wounding another six in the fourth such attack by a woman in Kano in less than a week, a security source said.
The bomber targeted youths who were looking at a notice board for national youth service in Kano Polytechnic, the source said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, although militant group Boko Haram, which is fighting for an Islamic state in religiously-mixed Nigeria, has repeatedly bombed Kano as it radiates attacks outwards from its northeast heartlands.
Using female suicide bombers in the city appears to be a new tactic of Boko Haram, although they have used them on occasion for years in the northeast.
Two female suicide bombers blew themselves up at a trade show and a petrol station in Kano on Monday, killing one other person and injuring at least six others.
On Sunday, a female suicide bomber killed herself but no one else while trying to target police officers. (Continue Reading.)

Muhammad: The Suicidal Messenger
According to the Qur'an, Muhammad is the pattern of conduct for Muslims (Surah 33:21). Yet the Muslim sources show that, when Muhammad became upset, he would try to kill himself. Is this the sort of moral example anyone should ever be following?
Here are the two passages we quoted in the video:
Here are the two passages we quoted in the video:
Ibn Ishaq, p. 106—[Muhammad said,] “So I read it, and he departed from me. And I awoke from my sleep, and it was as though these words were written on my heart. (T. Now none of God's creatures was more hateful to me than an (ecstatic) poet or a man possessed: I could not even look at them. I thought, Woe is me poet or possessed—Never shall Quraysh say this of me! I will go to the top of the mountain and throw myself down that I may kill myself and gain rest. So I went forth to do so and then) when I was midway on the mountain, I heard a voice from heaven saying, “O Muhammad! thou art the apostle of God and I am Gabriel.”For more on Muhammad's suicide attempts, click here.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6982— . . . But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Revelation was also paused for a while and the Prophet became so sad as we have heard that he intended several times to throw himself from the tops of high mountains and everytime he went up to the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Jibril would appear before him and say, “O Muhammad! You are indeed Allah’s Messenger in truth”, whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down and would return home. And whenever the period of the coming of the Revelation used to become long, he would do as before, but when he used to reach the top of a mountain, Jibril would appear before him and say to him what he had said before.
