Ground Zero Mosque developers have been scamming Americans by claiming that the mosque won't be a symbol of Islamic triumphalism and that Islam is a religion of peace. Why not scam Americans for money as well?

NY POST--The self-proclaimed leading moneyman behind the Ground Zero mosque ran a $5.1 million insurance scam that cashed in on car-accident injuries, a lawsuit alleges.

Hisham Elzanaty, 52, ran the "highly developed and sophisticated kickback scheme" for years, Allstate Insurance claims in a federal suit on Long Island.

The scheme routinely submitted inflated medical bills to Allstate and involved illegal fee-splitting, court papers say.

Allstate claimed that Elzanaty fraudulently incorporated medical professional corporations in The Bronx -- which were then used to bill the company for care of patients involved in wrecks.

The operations were fraudulent because Elzanaty is not a licensed medical professional, as required by law, court papers say.

Elzanaty did not return requests for comment. (Source)

Shaykh Abdallah Adhami Loses Ground Zero Mosque Spot

Muslims wanted an extremely moderate Muslim Imam for their mosque at Ground Zero. After all, the only way to hide the fact that such a mosque would be a symbol of Islamic supremacy is to pretend that it's a symbol of moderation and tolerance. Imam Rauf was first named for the position, but he turned out to be far too radical, saying peaceful words to American audiences, while raising an Islamic supremacist voice in the Arab world. When people found out that Imam Rauf was not what he appeared to be, plans changed.

He was replaced by Shaykh Abdallah Adhami, who gladly took up the cloak of moderation. Unfortunately for mosque proponents, Shaykh Adhami is quite a fan of Sharia, and it didn't take much digging to figure this out. His views simply don't line up with the Taqiyya-brushed picture the mosque leaders want us to see.

How is it that Muslims are having so much trouble finding a truly moderate Imam (or one who can do a good job pretending to be moderate)? Who's next for the position? Major Nidal Malik Hassan?

Associated Press--A Muslim scholar recently named as the new senior imam at the Islamic center being built near the World Trade Center has parted ways with the project.

Shaykh Abdallah Adhami said Friday in a joint statement with the center's developer that he will no longer serve as a religious adviser to the center.

Adhami says he wants to devote his time to completing a book on the Quran.

The 44-year-old had been announced as the imam at the center last month after the departure of project co-founder Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf.

His appointment was followed by news reports questioning his views on homosexuality.

Islamic center developer Sharif El-Gamal says he still hoped Adhami would lead prayers at the facility from time to time. (Read more.)

Documentary Fighting Ground Zero Mosque Kicks off Tour in Detroit

A mosque at Ground Zero would be a symbol of Islamic victory and supremacy. Imam Rauf is launching a speaking tour meant to convince us that it would be a symbol of peace and tolerance. As Imam Rauf's tour kicks off in Detroit, the Christian Action Network will be showing a documentary in nearby Dearborn.

Detroit, MI (January 3, 2011) – Christian Action Network (CAN) and PRB Films will show a new documentary on the controversial Ground Zero Mosque on January 15, 2011 - the same city block and day as an event hosted by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). ISNA will host Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Muslim cleric behind the proposed development of the Ground Zero Mosque, as he kicks off his speaking tour throughout the US.

CAN President and developer of Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega-Mosque, Martin Mawyer, plans to hold screenings of the documentary in cities throughout the US to combat Rauf’s attempt to garner public support for his GZ mosque.

“We made this film so that the people who were on the scene on 9/11 or lost family members in those attacks could have their say on the Ground Zero mosque issue,” Mawyer said. “They are the ones who will have to live with it near the graves of their loved ones and they need to be asked what they think.”

CAN is encouraging other organizations to host a screening to give a voice to the survivors of 9/11. The screening will include a panel discussion, featuring the following individuals:

* Martin Mawyer, CAN President and developer of Sacrificed Survivors: The Untold Story of the Ground Zero Mega Mosque.

* Tim Brown, a retired NYFD and a 9-11 first responder. Tim is also Founder of The Bravest, an organization dedicated to supporting slain members of the NYFD and their families.

* Michael Burke, brother of Captain Billy Burke, a New York City firefighter whose life was lost on 9/11. Michael will tell you the story of why Captain Burke was a true hero. He safely exited the World Trade Center on that day and he could have returned home to his family, but instead chose to save the lives of others.

* Nonie Darwish, an Egyptian-American human rights activist, and founder of Arabs For Israel, and is Director of Former Muslims United. Darwish blames "the Middle Eastern Islamic culture and the propaganda of hatred taught to children from birth" for his death. After September 11, 2001 she has been a national leader opposing the Mosque.

* Andy Sullivan, founder of the 9/11 Hard Hat Pledge, a petition signed by construction workers vowing to never build the Ground Zero mosque. Andy escaped World Trade Center Tower I before it collapsed and for weeks after the attacks, worked with the bucket brigade that searched for survivors and the remains of victims in the rubble. Today, Andy is a leader of the opposition against the Ground Zero mosque.

Miss USA Rima Fakih Opposes Ground Zero Mosque

Regardless of what you think of her stripper photos, this young Muslimah gets major cool points for speaking her mind on such a sensitive issue (and for getting things right!). As far as the United States Constitution is concerned, Muslims have every right to build a mosque at Ground Zero. But when we consider that (1) the 9-11 attacks were carried out by Muslims fighting for Islamic supremacy, (2) many family members of 9-11 victims oppose a mosque at Ground Zero, and (3) most Americans oppose a mosque at Ground Zero, common sense should tell Muslims that this isn't a good idea.

Huffington Post--Rima Fakih, the first Muslim Miss USA, has come out against the location of the so-called "Ground Zero mosque."

Fakih, whose faith caused a bit of an uproar when she was first crowned, told Inside Edition on Monday that while she concurs with President Obama on the need for the protection of religious freedom, she also feels that the placement of the Park51 center is a little too close for comfort.

"I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion," Fakih tells the show. "I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion."

Qur'an 3:28—Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. Unto Allah is the journeying.

Ibn Kathir on 3:28—Allah said next, (unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda' said, "We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.'' Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, "The Tuqyah is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.''

Qur'an 5:51—O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.

Sahih Muslim 30—It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right, and his affairs rest with Allah.

Sahih Muslim 33—It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf except when justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah.

Sahih al-Bukhari 2785—Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man came to Allah’s Messenger and said, “Guide me to such a deed as equals Jihad (in reward).” He replied, “I do not find such a deed.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2787—Allah guarantees that He will admit the Mujahid in His Case into Paradise if he is killed, otherwise He will return him to his home safely with rewards and war booty.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2795—Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, “Nobody who dies and finds good from Allah (in the Hereafter) would wish to come back to this world, even if he were given the whole world and whatever is in it, except the martyr who, on seeing the superiority of martyrdom, would like to come back to the world and get killed again (in Allah’s cause).”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2796—Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, “A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah’s cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all the world and whatever is in it.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2797—Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet said, . . . “By Him in Whose Hands my soul is! I would love to be martyred in Allah’s Cause and then come back to life and then get martyred, and then come back to life again and then get martyred and then come back to life again and then get martyred.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2810—Narrated Abu Musa: A man came to the Prophet and asked, “A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them is in Allah’s Cause?” The Prophet said, “He who fights that Allah’s Word (i.e., Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism) be superior, is in Allah’s Cause.”

Sunan An-Nasa’i 3099—It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet said: “Whoever dies without having fought or having thought of fighting, he dies on one of the branches of hypocrisy.”

Sunan An-Nasa’i 3138—Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari said: “A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah and said: ‘A man fights for fame, or he fights for the spoils of war, or he fights to show off. Who is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah?’ He said: ‘The one who fights so that the word of Allah will be supreme is the one who is fighting in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.’”

Sunan Ibn Majah 2763—It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever meets Allah with no mark on him (as a result of fighting) in His cause, he will meet Him with a deficiency.”

Sahih Muslim 4366—It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. al-Khattab that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.

Al-Bukhari, Al-Adab al-Mufrad 1103—Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do not give the People of the Book the greeting first. Force them to the narrowest part of the road.”

Ibn Hazm on the Pact of Umar—These are the Rules and Regulations that were imposed by ‘Umar ibn-al-Khattab on the Christians of Syria, after conquering their land. The purpose of these rules was to make them submissive and contemptible. Christians were in no way to exhibit any sign of their unbelief, or anything forbidden in Islam; since Allah, the supremely Glorified and Honored, had said:

“And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do.” (Qur'an 8:39, Pickthall)

. . . “[The Christians] are forbidden to build churches, or monasteries, in their cities or nearby areas. They are not allowed to renovate such buildings. They must allow any Muslim to lodge in these buildings for three nights, and provide him with food. They must never shelter a spy, nor show any duplicity to Muslims. They are not to teach their children the Qur’an. They must not display any sign of their unbelief, or forbid their relatives from converting freely to Islam. Furthermore, they must show reverence to Muslims, and give them pride of place at their assemblies. They should avoid appearing like Muslims in their clothing, their head covers, their shoes, and the parting of their hair. They must not speak the language of Muslims, nor use their names. They are not allowed to use a saddle on a beast of burden, nor bear a sword, nor any other weapon. Their rings must not bear any Arabic inscriptions. They must refrain from selling wine. They must have the front of their hair cut, and wear their own kind of clothing all the time, and must use belts. They are not to display a cross or any of their books, as they are passing Muslims on their way. Their dead must not be buried nearby a Muslim cemetery. They should not ring their bells in a loud manner; equally, they must not raise their voices while reading their Scriptures in their churches. They are forbidden to parade their palm branches. Now should Christians ever deviate from obeying these rules, Muslims would cease to honor the covenant that had protected them. In that case, Muslims can deal with them as if they have become people of discord and trouble.”
