What is the Significance of Easter in Christianity? Why is It the Most Important Date in the Christian Calendar?

In this video, we discuss the importance and significance of Easter in Christianity. The resurrection of Jesus would only make sense if Jesus died on the cross as the New Testament records and teaches. The only place where the Qur'an deals with the crucifixion of Jesus is in surah 4:157 where it claims they did not crucify Jesus or kill him. The major problem with this text is that it is notoriously vague and unclear, and is subject to many conflicting interpretations. The New Testament on the other hand, came from the first century A.D., and contains eyewitness testimony. This is why all scholars who study Jesus go to the New Testament. It is the earliest accounts we have for Jesus. The Qur'an on the other hand, came 600 years later, was written in a different country, written by a writer or writers who were not eyewitnesses to he life and words of Jesus. The Qur'an was composed in a land far removed from the land that Jesus and the apostles ministered and preached in. The Qur'an was also written in another language, foreign to first century Christians, and is filled with stories that come from apocryphal and historically worthless and dubious sources. Therefore, all who want to learn about the historical Jesus should go to the New Testament.

Was Jesus crucified?

How do you know the Qur'an is the word of God?

Amin your second question implies that there are qualities of the Quran that bear Allah's characterisitics to point to His authorship. But that violates tawheed. How do you resolve this problem?

If the Quran was the word of the God of the Bible, which it pretends to be, then it would be consistent with the Bible and not contradict it. But the Quran not only contradicts the Bible, but contains errors within it that could only be made by men who had the understanding of the world at the time the Quran was written,7th century Arabia,e.g.86.6-7"sexual fluid" from a man comes from between his backbone, "sexual fluid" from a woman comes from her ribs.

The Bible prophets, including Jesus taught repentance from sin, and to obey the Ten Commandments of God,to love God and love your neighbour as yourself.

The Quran, together with the actions of the prophet of Islam did not teach this, they taught to fight people to bring them to worship Allah as the only god,Bukhari 52.4.196 which Mohammed did, he fought offensive battles against disbelievers, to steal their properties, kill those who fought to save their lives, and took the remaining women as sex slaves for himself and his raiding troops, actions consistent with the time in which Mohammed lived, proving Mohammed was a false prophet.

Al Muslim:
Book 019, Number 4294

Fighting people is not what true religion is about, true religion is about the spiritual battle, against the spiritual forces of evil using spiritual weapons, but because Mohammed was a false prophet he used what was familiar to him within his culture of inter tribal warfare, where now in Islam enemies are those not accepting Allah as the only god, who should be fought to be brought into submission.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir 5.51.
Allah forbids His believing servants from having Jews and Christians as friends, because they are the enemies of Islam and its people, may Allah curse them. Allah then states that they are friends of each other and He gives a warning threat to those who do this...

Al Muslim number 4292
I wrote to Nafi' inquiring from him whether it was necessary to extend (to the disbelievers) an invitation to accept (Islam) before meeting them in fight. He wrote (in reply) to me that it was necessary in the early days of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) made a raid upon Banu Mustaliq while they were unaware and their cattle were having a drink at the water. He killed those who fought and imprisoned others. On that very day, he captured Juwairiya bint al-Harith. Nafi' said that this tradition was related to him by Abdullah b. Umar who (himself) was among the raiding troops.

If you want to be right with God then you must follow the true prophets of God, and not the false prophet Mohammed, whose actions lead you away from the Truth who is Jesus. Only Jesus has the message of eternal life, He said:

"I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through me."

And Jesus does not lie.

The Quran is a man made book, not a God made book, proved by the many mistakes held within it,held together with the ways and example of its false prophet Mohammed, who was a man of violence, who claimed had been ordered to fight people to bring them to accept Allah as the only god, which is what he did, he fought non combatants, stole their properties, killed those who fought to save their lives, and took the remaining women as sex slaves, aka right hand pocessions and booty, for himself and his men, to use and abuse at will.

These are not the actions of a prophet of God, they are the actions of a megalomaniac, who sought wealth, power and control at the expense of innocent people.

Posing questions such as you have done are therefore rendered meaningless, when faced with the truth of your faith.

The first Muslims spread Islam to lands such as Persia,India,North Africa, the Holy Land and Spain through invasion and conquest, because that is how Islam is designed, nothing has changed because the Quran and Mohammed's example are held to be eternal, which has given justification, and still does justify the violence perpetrated by Muslims throughout the world today, to fight in the cause of Allah, to kill and get killed, to gain the achievement supreme"QS 9111

The sooner you understand this and leave this evil cult, the sooner you become a better person to work for true and lasting peace throughout the world.

Sahih Al Bukhari Vol 004, Book 052, Hadith Number 196.

Narated By Abu Huraira : Allah 's Apostle said, " I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, 'None has
the right to be worshipped but Allah,' and whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,' his life and
property will be saved by me except for Islamic law, and his accounts will be with Allah, (either to punish him or to forgive him.)

SAHIH Al Muslim Book 19 Number 4292
Ibn 'Aun reported:

Sahih al-Bukhari 5079—We used to participate in the holy battles led by Allah's Messenger and we had nothing (no wives) with us. So we said, "Shall we get ourselves castrated?" He forbade us that and then allowed us to marry a woman temporarily by giving her even a garment and then he recited to us: "O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things which Allah has made lawful for you." (5.87)

Qur'an 5:87—O ye who believe! Forbid not the good things which Allah hath made lawful for you, and transgress not, Lo! Allah loveth not transgressors.

SAHIH MUSLIM, VOLUME 2, Number 3371
Abu Sirma said to Abu Said al Khudri: "O Abu Said, did you hear Allah's messenger mentioning about al-azl (coitus interruptus)?" He said, "Yes", and added: "We went out with Allah's messenger on the expedition to the Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing azl" (withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: "We are doing an act whereas Allah's messenger is amongst us; why not ask him?" So we asked Allah's messenger and he said: "It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born".

Amin - Instead of posting links to articles, how about you actually engage in conversation? Or is it that you are incapable of doing so?

Earlier, I asked you to solve the problem of the fact that you say that the Qur'an is the word of Allah, implying that there are characteristics of the Qur'an that point to his authorship. However, Tawheed specifies that there is nothing like unto Allah.

If that is the case, how can you say that the Qur'an is the word of GOd, when there is no possibility for it to bear Allah's likeness. If it cannot bear his likeness in any respect, e.g. wisdom, then there is no way you can attribute the authorship to Allah Himself.

Now, instead of posting more links, try and response.
