Inamullah, was confused after 54 minutes of the debate. He start giving wrong references like John 9:15. He try to mislead, and does not stay on the topic. At the end he just pretend he couldn't understand the Questions. when it comes to Arabic, he played very old trick, well every muslim play. "oh, you don't know Arabic". on the other hand Jonathan did his job with clear conscience.A good debate worth watching.God bless all of you,Amen.

An utter waste of your time Johnathan.... Casting pearls before swine.... Mumtaz is of the narrow minded type.... A real disappointing rhetoric from Muslim. " why didn't Jesus say 'I'm God .... Worship me' ..."
There was no meaningful debate here.
You cannot expect any Muslim to understand the complexity of the "son of man". The author of the Koran was too simple minded to understand how YHWH could become human in the person of Jesus Christ.

Jonathan you did an awesome job through all of the ignorance that was being spouted.

There was no debate on Mumtaz part. He stuck mainly to the mantra: where does Jesus say "I am God"?

First let's look in Torah where God Says I am God. Exodus 3:13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.[c] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Then, where Jesus says I am God. John 8:54 Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. 55 Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

57 “You are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

58 “Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I AM!” 59 At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

Where else besides Mark 14:62 did Jesus say he is God...

Revelation 1:17-18
When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Wow I became muslim as soon as he said God can't eat food. Lol typical waste of time. Muslims are so confused about their "prophet" all they can say is basically bla bla, blaaa blaaaa bla, I'm an idiot. As a Christian though Jesus commands me to love them. Its really really hard but I don't want satan to take any of God's creations. I pray everyday for God to give me a caring heart especially toward muslims. They are our brothers in Christ.

Huge error from Sheik, catholic's have NEVER taken mary as a goddess or ever made her part of the Trinity...
the same error your muhhamad made!!

Look at sura 5:116 a very badly framed question from allah and Christians never claimed mary as god

Jesus answered allah correctly, because you will not Find in the Bible Jesus telling His followers that mary is a goddess!!
Christian never believed mary as part of the Trinity!

This muslim has no interest to understand what actually is the Christian believe ..
integrity is not part of his being!

Brother Jonathan.. had the honesty to post a correction to one of his claims he made in the debate...

Bless you brother Jonathan .. good work, this muslim is just doing lip service to the meaning of debate!

apparently muslim apologist beleive that reciting scripted and worn out arguments five times a day is one of the pillars of Islam.

I find fascinating the paralells between muslims and the Religious Jews who rejected and betrayed Jesus. One of these parallels is manifested in the oft repeated Deedatic challenge "show me in plain language where Jesus said I am God worhip me."

The Jews posed a similar challenge to Jesus. John 10:24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, "How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly."

To which Jesus replied: " Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me." John 10:23-25

THe truth is that is doesn't matter how Jesus said it, though He said it dozens of ways they will not beleive. If there was a place in scripture where one of the gospel writers recorded Jesus saying " I AM God worship me" The muslims would not believe they would say "that verse has been added in the corruption of the scirptures."

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

@john "He ate" is usually accompanied with "He pooped!, how can one who pooped be God!!"

1. If Jesus did say I am God worship me, what would Mumtaz's reaction be? There is a good chance he would say "See the Jews themselves did not believe it and they picked up stones to kill Jesus. Why should I believe when they, the chosen people did not accept this blasphemy?

2. Jesus would never say I am God worship me because He made it clear in Matthew 20:28 and Mark 10:45 that He came to serve and not be served. Why would He sabotage His plans by walking around claiming to be God and asking people to worship Him?

Please remember : if JESUS ever did say : I AM GOD Worship Me ( in those very words)....muslims would just say that the scripture is corrupted loooolz
