The UNHOLY / UNGODLY koran ( qu'ran ) is from satan!!

Only JUDAISM and CHRISTIANITY is RIGHT as we have the same GOD who art in HEAVEN!!

GOD the FATHER CREATED the HEAVENS ( UNIVERSE ) and the EARTH, HE CREATED us in HIS own IMAGE!! GOD the SON YESHUA-JESUS CHRIST who forgives us of all our sins, and is the only WAY to enter into HEAVEN!! GOD the HOLY GHOST ( HOLY SPIRIT ) who fills us with HIS WISDOM-POWER and LOVE!! Only these THREE ARE ONE and HOLY / RIGHTEOUS / WORTHY / PEACEFUL / LOVING!!

Baruch Hashem-Yahweh-YHWH BLESS Ye All who STAND with ISRAEL-YISRAEL and our JUDEO-CHRISTIAN NATION USA!!

Am Yisrael Chai, Yeshua Adonai FOREVERMORE!! Shalom Everyone!!

Love Always and Shalom, YSIC \o/,

Can someone summarize, not too patient with videos.

Watched Nabeel's opening statement and the cross X, Nabeel was on fire. I almost felt sorry for Dr Ally.

Nabeel anyway you can make your opening notes and slides public that was a lot of great information. Or David anyway you can get them and make them public?

Nabeel was relentless in his cross examination of Dr Ally.

BTW might want to talk to Anthony Rogers he has a great bit on the Miricle of 19 sham that can be adapted to almost any situation. Be warned it will make your head hurt lol.

One thing you might also want to get with Anthony Rogers on is a great response to pslam 101. Although you response was good, it fell rather flat compared to the rest of your awsome presentation

I asked a question similar to this on the recent post concerning Jesus' resurrection. However, I seemed to have gotten caught in the middle of a argument about someone's semantics in a statement he or she made about punishment of Muslims or something. Anyways, if someone could - what is the typical Muslim stance on why Jesus was to be crucified? If He did not claim to be God, then why, even if one doesn't believe He was killed, was any punishment to be administered?

Kristi, nice to see your beautiful testimony to the Triune God.

But you are aware that Judaism rejects God's self-revelation as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Since this is so, how can it be right?

No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.
(1 John 2:23 ESV)

Also, an aside to Kristi Ann J:
I agree that the Qur'an is not the word of God, and that Jesus is the truth, the life, and the way. However, we must remember that a Muslim, and every other person in this world, is exactly like we were before we came to Christ. It should not anger you that they oppose the Bible. Instead, remember the grace and mercy and love God has poured onto you. This does not mean to stop trying to reach them. Instead, this means to love them with the Truth. Instead of making me angry, it distresses me when I meet someone or know someone who does not have the Hope that I have.

God is one but three (trinity).
Does that require God to be one being, having three personalities?

What is wrong with there being one God, being three entities?

If I have three XP CD's (windows OS), and use one on my home pc, the other on my work pc, and the other on the server. Then all perform different functions, yet all are capable of performing the very same.
They are three entities, but still XP.

For the same reason Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit can be three different entities, but they would do exactly the same in the same situation as the other because they are all God.

Your thoughts?

The Judaism of the old testament is from god not the Talmudic Jewish supremacist form of modern Judaism. Modern Judaism is just as much an antichrist system as Islam. Anyone who rejects Jesus is antichrist.

The debate was an interesting one. Shabir when he said who made Paul an Apostle. I was like who made Muhammad a prophet? Because nobody knew when he was collecting revelations. From Allah.

Dr. Nabeel Qureshi really represented Christ well. And I bless God for that.

@Arno

I always find it hard to explain the trinity using real world samples. I feel your XP CD, and there's one I've heard regarding water in liquid gas and steam, seem to tread close to the boarder of modalism.

David I would love to know how you explain the trinity or if you could link me to some good articles.

Thanks

Hey Clint, I notice you were asking the question to David that I had just posted a week ago: Why, even if Muslims do not believe Jesus died, did the Jews wanted to kill him in the first place?

David's answer to me was the Muslims would explain that the Jews wanted to kill Jesus for claiming to be the Messiah and for changing portions of the Torah.

Keith,

I'm sorry if my question seemed like one I hadn't researched enough. But I do thank you very much for your insight. Could you link me to the original page where you asked the question?

Muhammad would have beheaded and crucified christ for the same offenses the jews had.

@Ex N1hilo...

I appreciate your comments. But if you're of the persuasion (as I am) that God did not send His Messiah into the world as a Jewish rabbi named Jesus, in fulfillment of the Hebrew Bible, to start a new religion, then Judaism does indeed affirm the Triune God. Or should I say, TRUE Judaism affirms the Triune God. Indeed Jesus is the fulfillment (goal) of Judaism....not it's demise.

Ex N1hilo said...

@Hazakim1 Jesus was born of the tribe of Judah and brought up in the learning of the Torah, Prophets, and Writings. He never was a part of the religion of Judaism, which was only just developing in His day. Judaism is an apostate religion, a distortion of the Law, loaded with man-made innovations in doctrine and practice. It is not the religion of the Hebrew Bible.

Hey Clint, I asked David in an email to him, so I couldn't link you to any page. Sorry!

By the way i will include Bible verses to back up my claim that the Holy Trinity explanations to date are wrong. Talk soon. Regards Mark

Triune God (Christianity vs. Islam)

There is nothing in the least liberal or akin to reform in the substitution of pure monotheism for the Trinity. The complex God of the Athanasian Creed may be an enigma for the intellect; but He is far less likely to gather the mystery and cruelty of a Sultan than the lonely god of Omar or Mahomet. The god who is a mere awful unity is not only a king but an Eastern king. The HEART of humanity, especially of European humanity, is certainly much more satisfied by the strange hints and symbols that gather round the Trinitarian idea, the image of a council at which mercy pleads as well as justice, the conception of a sort of liberty and variety existing even in the inmost chamber of the world. For Western religion has always felt keenly the idea “it is not well for man to be alone.” The social instinct asserted itself everywhere as when the Eastern idea of hermits was practically expelled by the Western idea of monks. So even asceticism became brotherly; and the Trappists were sociable even when they were silent. If this love of a living complexity be our test, it is certainly healthier to have the Trinitarian religion than the Unitarian. For to us Trinitarians (if I may say it with reverence)—to us God Himself is a society. It is indeed a fathomless mystery of theology, and even if I were theologian enough to deal with it directly, it would not be relevant to do so here. Suffice it to say here that this triple enigma is as comforting as wine and open as an English fireside; that this thing that bewilders the intellect utterly quiets the heart: but out of the desert, from the dry places and the dreadful suns, come the cruel children of the lonely God; the real Unitarians who with scimitar in hand have laid waste the world. For it is not well for God to be alone.

Hi Mahsheed,

I starting off thinking "Wow, Mahsheed is a brilliant writer!", then recognized the familiar style of G.K. and thought "Wow Mahsheed is a brilliant reader!"

Excellent quote Mahsheed!

Bethany,

Thank you for your kind comment.
GK Chesterton is the modern prophet of our times and it's a joy to pull up his quotes and hopefully introduce to new readers.

ignatius said...

Masheed, Which book of GKC does the quotation come from?

I don't follow many Christian-Moslem debates, and I never saw Shabir Ally in action before, so I have no familiarity with his tricks. However he seems considerably better than other Muslim debaters I have watched.
