In a recent lecture, Dr. Yasir Qadhi repeated the myth that Constantine and others selected the four canonical gospels and rejected others at the Council of Nicea. While such claims are common among uneducated internet apologists, seeing a respected Muslim scholar repeat this myth should be shocking. We expect scholars to be more careful in their claims.
Here's a brief response by James White:

Sheikh Qadhi has admitted the error graciously.

Wow. That's so incredibly rare nowadays, I feel like I must have thrust into Bizarro World or something.
Hello Dr White, did he admit this to you privately or is there a source online? Thx. Btw nice to see you here, been a while.
As of June 5th, Dr Qadhi had his FB status on the very topic of Council Of Nicea.
Any moment now these guys gonna renounce Islam then? >;D
'The Authenticity Of The New Testament' (parts 1 and 2) by Bill Cooper also definitively shows how wrong Muslims (and many others) are concerning the Council of Nicaea (and also in regard to all the other common misconceptions about the historical truth, originality and early authorship of the New Testament scriptures).
This is why I encourage u to do some episodes regarding council of Nicea in ABN's show someday...
