Fort Hood Jihadist Declares That Opposition to Sharia Is "War on Islam"

Major Nidal Malik Hasan would like to clarify his "workplace violence."

FoxNews—Acting as his own attorney, accused Fort Hood shooter Major Nidal Hasan has released a statement to Fox News claiming that the U.S. military is at war with his religion.

However, he does not directly address the shooting at the Texas Army Base in November 2009 that killed 13 and injured more than 30 others.

“My complicity was on behalf of a government that openly acknowledges that it would hate for the law of Almighty Allah to be the supreme law of the land," the 42-year-old Army psychiatrist said. Hasan then apparently asked if this was a war on Islam. "You bet it is," he said. "I participated in it.”

The statement, which begins “In the name of Almighty Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful, my name is Nidal Hasan, Major Nidal Hasan, and I would like to convey a message to the world,” runs more than six pages.

Hasan also says he regrets his years in the Army, claiming that his service was inconsistent with his religious beliefs. “I would like to begin by repenting to Almighty Allah and apologize to the (Mujahideen), the believers, and the innocent. I ask for their forgiveness and their prayers. I ask for their forgiveness for participating in the illegal and immoral aggression against Muslims, their religion and their lands,” he said.

Hasan also criticized U.S. policy in the Middle East toward the Palestinians.

While Hasan’s motivation for releasing the statement is unknown, Fox News has repeatedly requested an interview with him, with a specific focus on his alleged actions at the Fort Hood Readiness Center on Nov. 5, 2009.

It is believed to be the first lengthy statement by the Fort Hood suspect, whose court martial begins August 6. The judge in Hasan’s case recently ruled that he cannot argue as part of his defense that the shooting was an effort to protect Taliban leaders in Afghanistan – the so-called “defense of others” strategy.

George Stratton and his son -- who was wounded in the attack -- will both testify at the trial. Stratton told Fox News he is not surprised by the statement.

“I have all along believed Nidal Hasan to be a Muslim terrorist, so it confirms what I’ve always thought,” Stratton said. “I believe that’s exactly how he felt when he did what he did. We should take him at his word.” (Continue Reading.)

"Opposition to Sharia is 'War on Islam'"

Well of course it is.

Any attempt to expose a lie is opposition to that lie, and is therefore war on that lie.

What another evidence would be needed ? Should muslim still claim that islam is a peaceful religion ? Why don't westerner learn from what happen in sudan, somalia, thailand, myanmar, philliphine n indonesia .... Well what else you can expect since mohammad himself told the followers to fight those unbelievers especially jews n christian.

it is peaceful u people arent all u like to do is insult other people religon u guys are haters christans and jews hate muslims and they call muslims haters u people are ridiculous ur not reasonable.

@Rukia Ali
And it is reasonable to execute someone for leaving Islam? That is prescribed in your Sharia! I've read it!

Anonymous said...

Rukiah Ali,

In what respect is Islam peaceful?

In a civil sense, all we can see is false peace.

And in a spiritual sense, Islam’s peace is also false, because all it does is numb men to their actual spiritual condition by downplaying the seriousness of sin and blinding them to the necessity of salvation through Christ’s atoning sacrifice, which is the only means of escaping God’s judgement on sin/crime.

It's not false peace u people have no peace within, u try to make islam look bad with ur comments. I want peace i'm trying to silence this blog and make people understand islam is not so bad as they think. Ex. muslims didnt do the 9/11 terrorist attack it was some one dressed as a muslim to make muslims look bad.

Thanks for admiting you're a liar when you said you weren't telling people to shut up before. Also, thanks for admiting you are just another Islamofacist. I'd say the mask slipped, but it was so transparent it didn't really matter.

Also, the claims that all the attacks by muslims (thousands of them, with over a 100,000 dead) must have been false flags to make muslims look bad. Riiiight, but we're the crazy ones. You just show that the actions by Muslims are indefensible, so you try to pretend it wasn't by Muslims.

Rukiah, you need to start looking at the big picture.

The history of Islam shows that by and large it is a system of oppression and murder, of both soul and body; a criminal empire, which for the last 1400 years has been bent on conquering the world by any means possible.

Some may argue against this, but... “For a tree is known by its fruit.” Mathew 12:33
The fruit:

Here are the deaths due to jihad over the last 1400 years.

Buddhists: 10 million
Christians: 60 million
Hindus: 80 million
Africans: 120 million

Total: 270 million

These deaths are known as the tears of jihad.

Islam enslaved Africans, Europeans (over a million of them), Hindus, Buddhists, and anyone else who was in the path of jihad. Islam has enslaved more people than any other culture. Muslims do not acknowledge and apologise for their history of enslavement of all races and faiths.

Islam still practices slavery [as per the Koran] in Africa. It is found in Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, the Sudan and other Islamic areas that are near unbelievers.

Historically, it was the political actions of Christians that ended slavery.

For more information go to

The Bible’s foundational command to treat others as ourselves (Leviticus 19:18 Mathew 7:12) is an all-encompassing, non-negotiable and permanent command. It is a universal guide and reference for all other rules and regulations. It is the only command in existence that enables equality between all people and individuals.

The Korans very flexible, no-holds-barred, do-whatever-it-takes-to-win-relative-to-the-circumstances (in order to achieve the goal of a global Islamic state) commands are in complete contrast to this.

Rukiah, we don't need Islam and its Sharia law.

The West already has its own laws and system of secular government as per Romans 13:1-7 which has given western nations the freedom and power that they have today.

“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

Therefore whoever resists the authority [temporal government] resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgement on themselves [for criminal behaviour].

For civil authorities are not a terror to good works [abiding by the law], but to evil [crime].

Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.

For he is God's servant to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword (law enforcement) in vain; for he is God’s servant, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.

Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’s sake.

For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers [public servants – judges, magistrates, police] attending continually to this very thing.

Render therefore to all their due; taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue, respect to whom respect.” [About A.D. 57]

The preceding general mandate for the running of government is actually based on the ‘golden rule’ which was written down and in existence long before* the Koran, Islam and Sharia (about A.D. 600)

*“Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the Prophets.” Mathew 7:12 (about 2000 years ago)

“You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” Matthew 22:37 which also appears in Leviticus (Ch.19 V.18) which was written in about 1440 B.C.

As for your statement,

• Not everything that is in the Bible is condoned by the Bible; but is necessarily included in order to be able to relate the story. There is no story about life and history that would even be realistic or valid that does not have the good, the bad and the ugly included in it.

• The events concerning Noah’s flood and Sodom and Gomorrah, the Canaanites and other events described in the Bible prompt many to accuse God of being a murderer and a hypocrite. But there is a vast difference between the murder of an innocent and the execution of a criminal.

The events relate to a Righteous and Holy Judge executing judgement on criminals for often extreme criminal behaviour and after much warning.

All the infants and children that were killed were spared the inevitable involvement in their parent’s sins and consequent eternal ruin. In this respect God’s judgment was also merciful.

The inherited sin that all children are born with (no one has to teach children to lie and steal; it comes naturally to them) being covered by Christ’s work on the cross, which covers all of human history.

...of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8.

Another point that can be made for the reason for God’s judgement was to prevent more children being born into a society and a life that would end up destroying them.

For example, a God who did not judge Canaanite evil would not be a God of mercy, love and compassion (the Canaanites’ bag of sins/crimes being full, with, among many other things, frequent child sacrifice – idolatry at its worst).

The view of some that the Bible or parts thereof are evil is caused by removing and isolating verses from the surrounding scripture and comparing and criticising them out of their context.

This is done out of either:

(a) Ignorance, in which case the underdeveloped reasoning and logic of a child is being used to try to understand scripture.

(b) It is being done wilfully, which is the same deceitful “editing” technique that is used by the media in order to make a better story and/or to discredit someone.

Also, many of the violent commands in the Koran are actually misinterpreted, misappropriated, out of context passages from the Old Testament.

The bible dos not treat other 'look at the big picture' as you said How many voilent verses are in the bible? There are so many, more than the Quran if you want to ignore the fact. Islam is the religon of peace. christainity came first than Islam, so how can Islam be mentined in the bible?
The bible is changed so many times just to fit certain people.Islam id not exist when the bible was written so how can it be mentioned?
The Quran was the same never changed never rewritten. Yet the bible was changed so many times I'll say it will be foolish to follow it .The bible is meaningless.

Anonymous said...

"Christans are the ones that go to bars and get drunk, there the ones that get adicted to drinking..."

I think you are talking about western culture in general rather than actual followers of Christ. But if Christians are doing this then they are going against Scripture.

"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Corinthians 6:9, 10.

You also said,

"How many voilent verses are in the bible? There are so many, more than the Quran if you want to ignore the fact"

That's because the Bible covers a far greater span of history than the Koran, so naturally there will be more of the good, the bad, and the ugly in it.

"Islam is the religon of peace"

Tell that to the 270 million (and counting) that have been murdered, and those that been enslaved and maimed in the last 1400 years by Islam.

As for your other assertions and statements, how about some evidence to back them up?

People go to bars and get drunk, they get addicted to drinking and everything else you allege.

You have GOT to quit calling ever person who does something bad a 'Christian'. Just because they are not Muslim does not mean they are Christians.

"a mulim never trashed a bible"

Yes they do. They do it all the time. You could wallpaper the Vatican 7 times over with the amount of bibles Muslims destroy.

"You know what it's not my fault when you die your own grave squishes you."

If Muslims are so nice and loving, why did you-as a Muslim-curse us like this? Why do you say such mean things to us?

You're not being a good 'Muslim' according to your standards. How downright 'Christian' of you....

@ rukia

speaking about burning books did you know uthman had a burnathon to standardize the quran due to differences even though muhummed only allowed seven ? apparently it caused enough problems that Muslims thought over for it

this is for the burnings
Bukhari: vol. 6, book 61 hadith 510
Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Hudhaifa bin Al-Yaman came to Uthman at the time when the people of Sham and the people of Iraq were Waging war to conquer Arminya and Adharbijan. Hudhaifa was afraid of their (the people of Sham and Iraq) differences in the recitation of the Qur'an, so he said to 'Uthman, "O chief of the Believers! Save this nation before they differ about the Book (Quran) ..." So 'Uthman sent a message to Hafsa saying, "Send us the manuscripts of the Qur'an so that we may compile the Qur'anic materials in perfect copies and return the manuscripts to you." Hafsa sent it to 'Uthman. 'Uthman then ordered Zaid bin Thabit, 'Abdullah bin AzZubair, Said bin Al-As and 'AbdurRahman bin Harith bin Hisham to rewrite the manuscripts in perfect copies. 'Uthman said to the three Quraishi men, "In case you disagree with Zaid bin Thabit on any point in the Qur'an, then write it in the dialect of Quraish, the Qur'an was revealed in their tongue." They did so, and when they had written many copies, 'Uthman returned the original manuscripts to Hafsa. 'Uthman sent to every Muslim province one copy of what they had copied, and ordered that all the other Qur'anic materials, whether written in fragmentary manuscripts or whole copies, be burnt. ..."

this is for the seven varieties allowed in arabic

Bukhari: vol. 6, book 61 hadith 514,

Narrated Umar bin Al-Khattab:

I heard Hisham bin Hakim reciting Surat Al-Furqan during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle and I listen to his recitation and noticed that he recited in several different ways which Allah's Apostle had not taught me. I was about to jump over him during his prayer, but I controlled my temper and when he had completed his prayer, I put his upper garment around his neck and seized him by it and said, "Who taught you this Surat which I heard you reciting ?" He replied, "Allah's Apostle taught it to me". I said, "You have told a lie, for Allah's Apostle taught it to me in a different way from yours". So I dragged him to Allah's Apostle and said, "I heard this person reciting Surat Al-Furqan in a way which you haven't taught me!". On that Allah's Apostle said, "Release him (Umar) recite, O Hisham!" Then he recited in the same way I heard him reciting. Then Allah's Apostle said, "It was revealed in this way", and added, "Recite, O Umar", I recited it as he had taught me. Allah's Apostle then said, "It was revealed in this way. This Qur'an has been revealed to be recited in seven different ways, so recite of it whichever is easier for you."

so apparently allah didn;t stop what he allowed in variation in readings. this is from the 6 haddiths so its authentic

Foolster41 said...

stop using anecdotal evidence.

That there are some violent Christians doesn't follow that Christianity is violent, just as if there are some violent Muslims doesn't automatically mean that Islam is violent. Also, that there are some violent Christians doesn't make the far more cases of violent Muslims magically disappear (this argument would be called tu quo que).

How we know whether or not Christianity or Islam is peaceful is by what it teaches. Christ said "love your neighbor" and "pray for those that persecute you", so those Christians that punch and kick you are disobeying Chrstianity. Howevever, those Muslims who subjegate and harass non-muslims are following the commands of the Quoran amd the example of Mohammad who preached open-ended warfare, unlike the violence in the OT(which I know you will bring up) which is limited to specific times and places.

Please present evidence on how Islam is the religion of peace.

Deleting said...

Rukiah (again) said, "If christans are so loving, why did I get punched, kicked, cursed, insulted by them. My muslim freind will never I did not curse at you. It's a saying......."

ONCE AGAIN LITTLE GIRL....just because someone does something bad it does NOT make them a Christian.

By the way it's spelled 'Christian' and not 'christan'. Just sayin'....

Deleting said...

Rukiah also said, "Termites can't read. So you people belive God does not have the power to do these things I understand you don't belive anything is possible with God"

So let me get this straight, forget about seeing all of creation and our conscious that tells us not to do bad things...the proof that Allah is a creator god is termites are not allowed to eat anything written in arabic. They don't have to know how to read but if it's arabic and it's the arabic in the Quran they can't eat it.

I'm sorry, I'm trying really hard to be nice to you because you do go through a bit at school but this is the dumbest thing anyone could ever cite as a reason to embrace Islam, let alone another faith.

Rukiah-I'm not rejecting the idea that God exist and anything is possible with him. I'm rejecting the premise that proof is demonstrated (it's not but since you think it is)in termites.

Anonymous said...

@ rukia still
doesn;t answer why allah didn;t stop uthman have a burning spree on it. if uthman can burn it then termiest can destroy it deal with it

Anonymous said...

"So you people belive God does not have the power to do these things I understand you don't belive anything is possible with God."

It is not a question of God having the power to do these things, it is the lack of any evidence that he did them that is the problem.

People should not simply make up stories about what God has done in order to support their argument, because in so doing, there is the real danger that they may be blaspheming Him by attributing actions to Him that are not true to His character.
