Virginia Imam Shaker Elsayed Calls for Violent Jihad

Shaker Elsayed is the Imam of Dar al-Hijrah Mosque in Falls Church, Virginia. For some strange reason, he believes that Jihad involves physical violence, rather than making friends across the aisle. Where could he have gotten the idea that fighting in Allah's way involves killing?

Qur’an 9:111—Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain.

Shouldn't the FBI be alerted to this Imam? This is ridiculous. Islam will never triumph over free thinking true worshipers of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Jesus is LORD and He is coming back to rule the whole world. In the end time scenario every nation Christ is fighting against is a moslem nation. By the way He defeats every single one of them. The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our LORD.

This Imam should be arrested for promoting violence.

How about our adopting, instead of "at the mosque where he worshipped", other phrases like "at the socially divisive Muslims-Only Centre where he habitually listened to provocative anti-western polemic".
Just a thought.

Perhaps our very own, First Muslim should invite him to the White House and explain the concept of "making friends across the aisle". It never worked for him but, who knows, maybe he can convince Shaker Elsayed of the error of his ways. Perhaps before CAIR issues a Fatwah against him for his heresy.

I wonder what he was raising money for and who where the people that where pictured in the banner behind him?

Kind of funny the guy who comes up after him gives a "disclaimer" that the Imam is not advocating violence in Ethiopia just giving a lesson. Yah some lesson.

@taomeano You don't sound that different from him right about now. I disagree with ANYONE, ANYWHERE using their religion as a means to incite violence or bigotry. I don't care which invisible man in the sky either side worships, it is never a reason to incite MORE intolerance and hate. While I do think he is a reprehensible person I find it equally disturbing how quickly you fly back to your own religion as an excuse to sling mud. Protip, John 8:7 ; So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
He is no less inflamatory or inciting than MANY american christian groups today.
