Pakistani Girl Doused in Acid by Parents in Recent Honor Killing

More than 90% of "honor" killings are carried out by Muslims. Is this a coincidence, or a result of Muhammad's teachings?

BBC--A mother and father in Pakistani-administered Kashmir have been arrested for murdering their 15-year-old daughter by dousing her with acid "in the name of an honour", police say.

They say it is one of the first such cases of its kind in the region.

Honour killings happen when mostly male family members believe the victim has brought dishonour to their community.

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan reported 943 women were killed in honour killings last year.

That represented an increase of more than 100 from 2010.

But such happenings are rare in parts of Kashmir under the control of Pakistan.

Police say that the incident took place in a remote village in the southern district of Kotli. They say that the case was brought to their attention by the couple's eldest daughter.

It will not be clear until Friday - when the parents are due in court - if they admit or deny murder charges. (Continue Reading.)

One more "honor killing," and Islam is again disgraced by its own adherents.

Guys, though off-topic,the following is surprising.I am always in search of new ideas for articles in AVRAIDIRE.COM. Very recently there has been the annoncement by NT scholar KAREN KING that a 4th century papyrus fragment in Coptic, maybe copied from a 2nd century text, has been discovered that says Jesus had a WIFE.

That would be 300 years after Jesus died so I dont give it any weight, but it is the first time you see such a claim.

Here is some info,it is in French, you can translate using GOOGLE TRANSLATE:

@minoria It's just another attempt to attack the Gospel and it won't work. There is no evidence that prove the contrairy. I personally believe only the gospel, nothing more. For 2000 years, people have tried to stop the message (good news), the word of God with many attempts and it always failed. People also tried to prove the bible wrong and it always failed because it is the truth.
