Miracles of the Qur'an: The Female Honey Bee

Here's another so-called miraculous scientific proof that the Qur'an is the Word of God:

And here's what happens when Muslim arguments are forced to confront reality:

If the collective nouns are in fact largely feminine, then this makes good sense, whereby the rebuttal would, in fact, refute the original claim quite easily.

I clap my hands and yell with joy! at the end of every video that refutes the idiotic claims made by islam.

I just love, love, love, when islam is slapped right in the face when it tries to deceive the masses!

I think this refutation video deserves a party! Gosh! thanks David Wood for this video! please post more......

Ho boy Dr. David very good morning to you and your family. I said it the job your are doing only YAHWEH knows the importance of it. Keep it Dr.
Please Dr. David I did email you and I know that you are very busy but give just 5 minutes of your time. Thanks in advance.

My level in arabic is down to zero but YAHWEH has gifted some Christians with great knowledge. To start quran was not revealed in arabic but in quraishi dialete(tongue) sahih al-Bukhari vol 6 book 61 Number 510. Muslims need to do a bit of research please. Stop digracing yourselves as long as you cannot put a fridge in the bottle please I urge you to give up this battle which can only take to your destruction. Just take one minutes and YAHWEH to show you the real way I'm sure HE will do so IN JESUS' NAME AMEN.

Have a nice day

Male bees also make home in trees and man made buildings. But why does Quran talk about only about female bees ? because the sex hungry Muhammad likes ALL females. That FEMALE can be donkey or human being or insect. ANYTHING. But that must be FEMALE. may be he was after virgin donkeys and virgin bees also. But there is ONLY one condition. that animal or insect must be FEMALE.
ha ha ha ha........

Great clip and shows once some homework is done, the truth really comes out.

Come on everyone! This is just another one of those things that "only works in Arabic"! Don't you get it??

You refute an interpretation, not the content of the verse.
It's not like the absurdities you find in the Bible.

Lupis Lobo says "....You refute an interpretation, not the content of the verse..."

Let us look at the content then.

1. Do bees really "EAT" Fruit as this verse says? In reality honey bees 'drink' from flowers, not eat from fruit... It is wasps that eat fruit.

2. Is there healing in all honey?
Have you ever heard of toxic honey?
Honey produced from the flowers of oleanders, rhododendrons, mountain laurels, sheep laurel, and azaleas may cause honey intoxication. Symptoms include dizziness, weakness, excessive perspiration, nausea, and vomiting.
Did Allah forget he created flowers that produce toxins?

Please answer...

Lupus: "You refute an interpretation, not the content of the verse. It's not like the absurdities you find in the Bible."

Well then, in response,

1.) Your reference to the "absurdities in the Bible"... I believe that is a "non sequitor". You're trying to change the subject, not refute the comments against the "miracle" of honey bee in the Koran". Plus you're being vague, so by extension, your argument is weak.

2.) I thought there was no "interpretation" of the Koran. That to "interpret" means to "put in a human opinion" into the incorruptible word-of-God/Allah. So either the "miracle" of the honey bee is proof of the word of Allah... or it's not.

3.) So if by "interpret" you mean the English interpretation of the sura of the Honey Bee from Arabic into English (or whatever)... are you then making the argument that "it only works in Arabic"? That somehow the translation is the root of the problem?

Maya, the Bee. I use to watch that show as a kid.

Anyway, the last video seems to prove why so many Muslim men treat their women like sex machines. Oh, just pick any species where the male doesn't work as hard as the female, and there's your Islam!

The qu'ran needs to disappear.

It was the intention of the video to refute a nonsensical (but quite popular) interpretation of the verse, not the verse itself. The verse makes no extraordinary claims, it's just a little description of bees.

That's the point, according to his own way of "interpretate" the quran, he would be making another serious mistakes like the Bull giving mil hehe, but when you use the proper meaning of the word, which is for both sex, it doesn't say it's only female bees, so he is being deceptive, you need to chose one of both, it doesn't matter wich one, he will lose anyway (and maybe also you will)

I did like the beginning song tho...Very catchy.

Anyhow, sorry for reminiscing and getting off topic!

The enemy has gathered a cult around Harun Yahya (Aaron John) who puts out unscientific rubbish - with plagiarized real science used selectively - to advance muhamadan aggression.

The author of his junk is a Turkish mental patient, Adnan Okhtar. Until BHO, he defended the existence of Judeo-Christian Civilization in Israel, etc. Now that his kind control Turkey, he has turned against us. Actually, his beliefs were nothing but strategic-jihad. You can trust his kind as far as you can spit against a hurricane.

If you speak Arabic, you will undertand that the word اتخذي
is used to the feminin form and never to the masculin. if GOD was talking to plural where there is male and female he will mention the form اتخذوا
so the issue here is not whether the bees in the Arabic Grammer are masculim of feminin. the deal her is the way the verb take اتخذ
is used. so the argument here is fauls. I am sorry to say to you that is clear without any doubt in my mind that the Quran here speaks to females only, not males, neither males and females all together and again look at the form od the verb. salam/peace

This video is first tackling something that muslims firstly dont claim if you go in detail. And secondly deluding the viewers bu other subject that are not even relevant. Here you can read what muslims really claim:

"For the word "eat": "Kuli" is for females; "Kul" is for males. The Quran used "Kuli" (females).
For the word "follow a path": "Usluki" is for females; "Usluk" is for males. The Quran used "Usluki" (females).
For the word "their bellies": "butuniha" is for females; "butunihim" is for males. The Quran used "butuniha" (females). ''

But ofcourse this is only for the people who are in search for the truth. Secondly look at your own bible and see how science debunks it from the beginning till the end.

Sexes and castes[edit]
A caste is a different form, morphologically or reproductively, within the same sex of a species. Honey bees have three castes, drones, workers, and queens. There are two sexes: drones are male, while workers and queens are female.

Males or drones are typically haploid, having only one set of chromosomes. They are produced by the queen if she chooses not to fertilize an egg; or by an unfertilized laying worker. Diploid drones may be produced if an egg is fertilized but is homozygous for the sex-determination allele. Drones take 24 days to develop and may be produced from summer through autumn. Drones have large eyes used to locate queens during mating flights. Drones do not have a sting.

Workers are female bees and have two sets of chromosomes. They are produced from an egg that the queen has selectively fertilized from stored sperm. Workers typically develop in 21 days. A typical colony may contain as many as 60,000 worker bees. Workers exhibit a wider range of behaviors than either queens or drones. Their duties change upon the age of the bee in the following order (beginning with cleaning out their own cell after eating through their capped brood cell): feed brood, receive nectar, clean hive, guard duty, and foraging. Some workers engage in other specialized behaviors, such as "undertaking" (removing corpses of their nestmates from inside the hive).

Workers have morphological specializations, including the corbiculum or pollen basket, abdominal glands that produce beeswax, brood-feeding glands, and barbs on the sting. Under certain conditions (for example, if the colony becomes queenless), a worker may develop ovaries.

Queen honey bees, like workers, are female. They are created at the decision of the worker bees by feeding a larva only royal jelly throughout its development, rather than switching from royal jelly to pollen once the larva grows past a certain size. Queens are produced in oversized cells and develop in only 16 days. Queens have a different morphology and behavior from worker bees. In addition to the greater size of the queen, she has a functional set of ovaries, and a spermatheca, which stores and maintains sperm after she has mated. The sting of queens is not barbed like a worker's sting, and queens lack the glands that produce beeswax. Once mated, queens may lay up to 2,000 eggs per day. They produce a variety of pheromones that regulate behavior of workers, and helps swarms track the queen's location during the migratory phase.
