I wanted to ask Dr.Wood if there is realy a Hadith in which Muhammad says that the wife beating has to be done with a feather (tickling?) I already asked about this here: http://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=6590312557191237519&postID=4799926180592514979
Since Dr.Wood is in posession of all 6 collections of Ahadith he may be able to tell if this is true or a lie?(And how authoritative this hadith is if it exists)
I've never seen a hadith, strong or weak, that said to beat (i.e. tickle) wives with a feather. When a Muslim says something like that, just ask for the narration from Muhammad. Hopefully, the Muslim will realize he's passing on nonsense he heard from his friends, rather than reliable information from Muhammad.
I was surprised when I saw "Kangoroo" using this "example" of Muhammad, since I never saw any Muslim apologist using this. I also found it strange that he made this claim on your blog several times and no one asked him for the refference.
