BALTIMORE – A 21-year-old construction worker who had recently converted to Islam and told an FBI informant he thought about nothing but jihad was arrested Wednesday when he tried to detonate what he thought was a bomb at a military recruitment center, authorities said.
Antonio Martinez, a naturalized U.S. citizen also known as Muhammad Hussain, faces charges of attempted murder of federal officers and attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction, according to court documents filed Wednesday.
The bomb he is accused of trying to detonate was fake and had been provided by an undercover FBI agent. It was loaded into an SUV that Martinez parked in front of the recruiting center, authorities said, and an FBI informant picked him up and drove him to a nearby vantage point where he tried to set it off.
It was the second time in less than two weeks that a young man was arrested trying to detonate what he thought was a bomb during a sting operation. (Read more.)

I'd quote a bunch of passages from the Qur'an and Hadith showing that this man was simply following his religion, but I'll wait until the next terrorist attempt. Sadly, I doubt it will be long.

I think it's sad actually that RevolutionMuslim is down. It really helped the US government.
When was the last time you heard about a Christian Convert that tried to do anything violent? IMHO, the converts to the religion are the ones who speak volumes about the religion itself. They're the most intimate and most passionate about the religion because they left whatever they believed in to convert and that's hard, very hard. When we find Converts to Islam doing such pathetic acts of violence, you know that Islam has violent elements in it that can't be denied. Islam is indeed violent, from the devil himself I think otherwise why would new converts commit such acts.
I think Muslim converts sometimes engage in violence because
1. Work doesn't seem to be paying as well as it should.
2. Work isn't as available as it used to be.
3. The religion of their choice is ultimately, quite empty. It offers very little in the present day-- except for dreams of the glory of conquest.
So too many of these people take the bait, lay up treasure in the land of arrogance.
The extremist Muslims need a rule for themselves: There must be at least five months between each terrorism attempt. Otherwise, if they have attempted attacks only a mere couple of weeks apart, there will be higher degrees of "Islamophobic" hysteria, and people will have their guard up. It's easier to attack people ignorant of Islamic extremism, who have their guard DOWN.

What a contrast between a convert to +ianity and Islam. A +ian convert is told to lay down his arms and surrender to God through Messiah. A Muslim convert is told to take up arms and fight and kill in the way of Allah. And they say we believe in the same God?!!!
It is time that Islam is put on trial and is stripped of its status as a religion in the West. Only this can fight against this dangerous cult as it removes the veil to show that it was created purely as a brainwashing trick by an evil and selfish person to commit murder, loot and rape of innocent people whose only crime was not join his immoral, sinful and murderous ways. It is the only way to prevent abuse of Western democracies and their liberal laws by Jihadists to destroy Western civilization from within. As long as practicing Muslims hold on to their stupid supremacist belief that they are practicing a religion that is superior to other religions, the threat to modern civilization will not abate.
The root solution is to show what it is in reality - a violent cult not worthy of being called as a religion by Western standards of Human rights, liberty, equality and freedom. One need not look elsewhere for this other than their holy texts to establish this truth beyond doubt. It has no element of true spiritualism of universal value in nature. Islam bashing and other symptoms addressing approach must stop as there is no end to this. Trillion dollar security system is only leading to economic bleeding of West. FBI trapping a few here and there is simply a waste of time. This virus like cult belief system can produce all types of brainwashed Jihadi rats in millions and such symptoms addressing steps will not work. Unless the root of the problem is addressed, the Islamic cancer continues to grow within till it consumes the host.
