Get the 1981 McDowell Deedat debate online.

I am trying to get Josh McDowell to make his debate with Deedat available on Youtube. I was told years ago that he was going to do this but still nothing has happened. If you would like to see this happen then please go to Josh McDowell's Facebook page. Click on the "Josh McDowell + Others" or "Just Others" Wall tab and "like" my post and/or make a comment. Maybe if he sees some interest he will put it up? Deedat never made this available and it would be helpful for Muslims to see it. An MP3 audio only version is on Youtube but the video should be up too.

One of the first debates I listened to between +ians and Muslims. It was a one-sided debate that Muslims don't like to talk about. Deedat was humiliated.

I can't seem to find Josh McDowell's Facebook page..

Was this debate the one with Josh humiliating Deedat (and his 'fanboys') with regards to his swoon theory?

Zack:

Yes. It's the one where Deedat said: "No where in the whole 27 books of the New Testament does Jesus say he died and then rose from the dead."
You can hear the audience stir as they - I believe it to be the +ians at this juncture - see McDowell move in with what would turn out to be Deedat's humiliation.

"Mr Deedat. Did I hear you right? Did you say, "'No where in the 27 books of the New Testament does Jesus say He died and then rose again?'"
"Revelation chapter 1.18: "I am the Living One..."

Crowd; Loud!!!

With the name of Allah, Peace be unto those who follow the guidance from their Lord,

Samuel Green I believe the debate is up some where on youtube ( I have encountered it before ) It was by an obscure source...fairly good quality. I think the person was affiliated with IPCI in Durban. I saw the debate myself-the video.

Deedat did not do to well. Anyhow if I get the debate I will let you know. Also I am aware that you have had a debate with a Muslim (or two) other than Abdullah Kunde.

Were these recorded and is it possible to upload them?

Apart from Revelation chapter 1.18, Jesus himself says it in Luke 24:46 after He appeared to his disciples

"He (Jesus) told them, This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day,"
