The "Criminal Complaint" against Negeen

We should have our video footage of Roger Williams up sometime today or tomorrow. Roger is the one who made a "criminal complaint" against Negeen and the rest of us, which gave police the excuse they were looking for to throw us in jail. Given what Roger said in the police report, the video footage will be disturbing.

I sent Jason Smathers at Witnesses Unto Me a copy of the unedited video footage. After examining the footage and contacting both Dearborn Police and Roger Williams, he wrote an article on the affair.

Roger Williams affirmed the police report against Acts 17 to be accurate in an interview with Witnesses Unto Me and is sticking by his statements made to police. Acts 17 allowed Witnesses Unto Me access to the raw unedited video footage from three cameras to see what really took place.

The incident Williams reported to the police sounds quite long. The police recount Williams testimony "He added that he felt extremely uncomfortable and thought he could not leave although he attempted to several times." In reality, the situation captured on video matches David Wood's testimony in a previous interview with Witnesses Unto Me. In fact, Williams had radioed the police only thirty seconds after the interaction began. Acts 17 was walking down the street and saw Luke speaking with Roger Williams. Luke previously told Nabeel Qureshi of Acts 17 that he was taken to the police by Williams for handing someone a Gospel tract, Nabeel says "You good?" to Luke, who confirms they are "having a friendly conversation." Nabeel says "I just wanted to make sure he wasn’t messing with you or anything" then walks away. As Acts 17 begins to walk away, Williams stops them and says “You don’t have to worry about me messing with him, you need to worry about me messing with you, alright?” Williams only accusation against Acts 17 to their face is that they were complaining, but he never clarifies what that means. Williams says he would explain if the microphone is turned off, but never does even after it is turned off. The entire interaction takes about 2 minutes. Amal Alslami, a Muslim and employee of the American Arab Chamber Of Commerce told the police she witnessed this event and affirmed Williams statement. However, the videos do not show Alslami anywhere in sight during the encounter, but she drives up on a golf cart approximately five minutes later, takes pictures of Acts 17, then leaves. Alslami later tells police that she did not witness the incident.

When confronted about the discrepancies, Rogers says "This is why I did not want to be on any video tapes. It is always twisted. I ... wish it had never happened at all. I am not after them or anyone else." The way in which the raw unedited video has twisted anything escapes this author. Read More.

I have to admit I am more then disgusted with the likes of
Roger (Funktionshäftling) Williams.

He would make a good Kapo in Islamic Concentration Camps. But just like the Jewish Funktionshäftling (Kapo's)in Nazi Concentration Camps. He to is a victim of Islamic oppression.

Great! I can't wait for the video upload. You know, so far Muslims (and some "Christians") have been accusing you guys of deception based on the little evidence that they have. But so far, you every single time you guys bring the video evidence, you have been vindicated and proven innocent. Then, SUDDENLY those accusers have nothing to say and go M.I.A for a long time. Don't you love it when truth shines on darkness?

Can't wait to see you vindicated in the videos.

I really don't think those who accuse Acts17 and say they are "Christian" are really, really Christians. They DO NOT believe.

It is NOT even a thing having to do with religion.A DECENT person who accuses somebody and is PROVED wrong, immediately says"I was wrong."

That person can be an atheist, agnostic,Hindu, etc. It is obvious those accusers are doing it due to evil.

Minoria, I have no reason to think that people who have spoken harsh and unwarranted words of criticism against Acts 17 can't be Christians simply because of the way they've behaved. People can be and are messed up in various ways, even Christians. Some just find it hard to admit they're wrong, they may be relying on poor sources of information, have personal biases, etc.

I agree with Haecceitas. I have my doubts about people like Roger, who spread lies about fellow Christians in order to keep them from speaking to Muslims. I find it difficult to believe that such people are sincere Christians.

But when it comes to most of the people who are criticizing us, I think they've either absorbed some ideas I would disagree with, or they've gotten some false information about us. Either way, I don't doubt their sincerity. In fact, I know that some of them are devout Christians who do excellent work for the Lord.

Hussein, (for whatever reason I do not know) decided to email me and pointed me to this exact article that Jason did.

And from his email, he seemed to be of a different demeanor (compared to his recent posts).. but let's put that aside for now.

In the email, he stated he trusted Jason very much and he believes the conclusion that the Acts 17 team was framed and the witnesses lied...
but besides that, he has his opinions regarding (specifically) Wood's 'PR management skills'.

I don want to just blurt it all out in the open without Wario's permission... but I think it is only appropriate that I forward his email to Wood, if Mr Wood is willing to have a look.

Alright, Hussein has given me the 'go ahead' to share the email.

Here's how he started off:

"Hey Zack,

Have you seen this story? It is quite interesting. It sounds like the missionaries were framed like I said last week. Here it is...

Hussein"

I responded to the earlier email more cautiously, asking for clarification on what he wanted to tell me by linking to the article...

Here's his response.

"Zack,

Yes. Jason is really good at investigating cases. I trust him very much. My conclusion is, Acts 17 Apologetics missionaries were framed. I mean the volunteer lied about them. I had that suspicion last week. Question I have for you: How can you reconcile all the version of the story, especially the one Mr. Wood shared on Fox News. It is hard to believe that he is sincere. I have no problem with the rest of the group. As for the arrests, Acts 17 could have responded in a more mature manner. So far, because they defended themselves, a lot of damage has been done. Just read comments on their blogs that Fat Man, the person who Mr. Wood celebrates, wrote about me. This group needs to change their tactics. Another question: Do you know why they have Muhammad cartoons on their website? "Free speech" argument does not cut it because the Gospel trumps it. They are offending people. Thank you for writing. I will post a longer article tomorrow.

In Christ,
Hussein"

From here... I then pleaded him to 'change' his choice of 'rebuking' Wood to that of a constructive criticism, instead of 'exposing' him. Seems to me he's just very ill-informed and due to the tensions, larger and larger sparks kept flying.

Hopefully tensions will lessen and that we can build relations, instead of walls.

I'm surprised no one commented about what Hussein wrote so far...

and then again.. Hussein has not done anything on his blog either...

Zack,

Hussein apologized (sort of) and removed his unfounded allegations about Acts 17.

Zack_Tiang said...

Sigh... I'm so disappointed with the choice of action that he's made.

Made a rather long comment in response to him...

May the Holy Spirit rebuke him and correct him and lead him to repentance for his wrong use of the scriptures and ignorant or deceitful statements against his own brethren in Christ.
