Indonesian Muslims Preparing for War against "Christianization"

Hmmm. Muslims engaging in thug tactics in order to counteract Christian missionary work. Now why does this seem familiar?

In a move that could add to already simmering religious tensions in Bekasi, a new group calling itself the Bekasi Islamic Presidium is planning a roadshow aimed at persuading every mosque in the city to prepare for the possibility of "war" against "Christianization."

The group, consisting of nine members representing different Islamic organizations in the city, was formed on Sunday, the last day of the Bekasi Islamic Congress at Al Azhar Mosque that was convened to address the so-called Christianization problem.

Among its recommendations is the formation of Islamic militant groups, or laskar, within each mosque and the drafting of Shariah-based policies by the Bekasi administration.

"All Muslims should unite and be on guard because ... the Christians are up to something," Mur hali Barda, head of the Bekasi chapter of the hard-line Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), told the Jakarta Globe.

"Apparently they want to test our patience. We are planning to invite them for a dialogue to determine what they really want. If talks fail, this might mean war," he warned.

Murhali claimed that a certain Christian foundation had been relentlessly baptizing groups of people in the city, which has seen a number of religious conflicts in recent months. Read More.

The number of Muslims turning to Christianity in Indonesia is high, and the Islamic persecution and genocide of Christians is continuous. This sounds much like another widespread jihad is imminant much like the one in 1999. That time, the Western media shamefully avoided story. I wonder if our peaceful Western Muslims are gona make a riot about this this time or typically value the apathy and evil of Western media and political corrections.
Keep in mind according to Yahya Snow and others it is evil and intolerant to portray such attrocites as demonic or evil.

And here we have it again: "There is no compulsion in religion." - Ooops, sorry, I forgot, the verse was abrogated.

It is always very interesting why I don't here these news in any of the news magazines in Europe, why never a single politician adresses these issues and how there still can be so much ignorance among the muslims themselfes that still can't believe that their religion teaches opression towards the unbelievers.

I really wished just for sake of peace, that islam would be as the liberal muslims present it, but unfortunatly it isn't.

Let us keep our indonisian brothers and sisters in Christ, in prayers.

I am waiting for the worldwide Muslim outrage of this atrocity. Where are the Muslims calling out for peace and equal rights? Where are the Muslims condemning these evil deeds??? Muslims didn't hesitate to condemn Acts 17 for peacefully conversing with Muslims at the Festival, but why haven't we heard them comment on this atrocity??? I will be waiting....

"relentlessly baptizing"....

Sounds like a good start! May the baptizing continue until all the Lord's people who are captive in Muhammad's Islam have been called out. May our prayers always be with our brothers and sisters suffering persecution, and may those of us in lands with security and religious freedom be ever mindful of its value.

Perhaps this is somewhat related: http://www.thejakartapost.com/news/2010/06/22/up-bare-arms-over-statue%E2%80%99s-removal-after-hardline-protests.html. Shows how irrational these people can be.

What will Chief Haddad think about that? LOL. http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/wichman.asp

Claim: A Michigan professor sent an e-mail telling Muslim students to leave the country.
Status: True.
The story begins at Michigan State University with a mechanical engineering professor named Indred Wichman.

Dear Muslim Association,
As a professor of Mechanical Engineering here at MSU I intend to protest your protest.
I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like be headings of civilians, cowardly attacks on public buildings, suicide murders, murders of Catholic priests (the latest in Turkey), burnings of Christian churches, the continued persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, the imposition of Sharia law on non-Muslims, the rapes of Scandinavian girls and women (called 'whores' in your culture), the murder of film directors in Holland, and the rioting and looting in Paris France.
This is what offends me, a soft-spoken person and academic, and many, many of my colleagues. I counsel you dissatisfied, aggressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Muslims to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile 'protests.'
If you do not like the values of the West - see the First Amendment - you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option.
Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.
Cordially,
I. S. Wichman
Professor of Mechanical Engineering

As you can imagine,
The Muslim group at the university didn't like this too well.
They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded, that the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty,
And mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.
Now, the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray.
CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor had the right to express his opinion.

For its part, the university is standing its ground in support of Professor Wichman,
Saying the e-mail was private, and they don't intend to publicly condemn his remarks.
Send this to your friends, and ask them to do the same. Tell them to keep passing it around until the whole country gets it.
We are in a war.
This political correctness crap is getting old and killing us

mkvine said...

Joe,

That's very interesting. I'm glad that the professor has the backbone to stand up to Muslim oppression. Muslim students want the university to have a course on diversity, well that's fine. But I think the university should also have a course on Human Rights Violations and Oppression by Muslims. This course should teach students about the oppression and human rights violations that Muslims commit against non-Muslims in current times. Also, it's not surprising that CAIR would try to silence the professor's freedom of speech, even when his speech had a private context. I think Muslims are very good at doing that (Arab Festival). It's time for everyone to stand up against Islamic oppression, we refuse to be their dhimmies.

@Hogan Elijah Hagbard

Do you have any proof that the number of Muslims converting to Christianity is 'high'?

I ask you this because you're dealing with a social-political expert.

Paijo Budi,

Stand strong for the Gospel brother. My prayers are with you, and all of Indonesia.

The Berean Search said...

Besmikov,

"Do you have any proof that the number of Muslims converting to Christianity is 'high'?"

I don't claim to have any statistics on this issue, but it's obviously a large enough number of people that a Muslim described Christians as "relentlessly baptizing", and a large enough number that Muslim groups had to convene a conference to fight a "Christianization problem".

The rise in tensions among Indonesian Muslims concerning "Christianization" reflects deeper issues of religious identity and societal change. I believe it's crucial for all parties buy protection dog to engage in dialogue and mutual understanding. Addressing these concerns through peaceful, respectful conversation is essential for maintaining harmony and avoiding conflict.
