VideoBlog #3: Deception and Violence in Islam

On our first day at the Arab Fest, we saw a booth that said "Islam: Got Questions? Get Answers". At that booth was a pamphlet preaching that Islam is a religion of peace. In this video, I briefly analyze the inconsistency of the pamphlet, and attempt to give the booth a chance to explain their errors.

NOTE: This topic would have been covered much more in depth had the people at the booth actually engaged in conversation. Please do not comment that we didn't cover enough information and fully develop our arguments; we know that! We did not have the opportunity, because the Muslims refused to engage in civil discourse.

That's the point of this video: A booth offering answers to simple questions refuse to do so on camera. What are they afraid of? The truth?

Turn this video around where a Muslim asks a Christian at a booth at a similar event. I believe I would take the opportunity to witness knowing that the Holy Spirit would guide me. If I were a Christian who may or may not know the answers, I would say: "Let me find someone that can answer your questions." NICE work Nabeel.

I think that if this was reversed and a Muslim or any other seeker (sincere or not sincere) asked a Christian about their faith, that the Christian would LOVE to answer in front of the camera. We WANT to share our Lord and Savior with others and believe that seeds can be planted with those who may not be sincere in their questions.

Nabel, great work. I watched it twice and I didnt notice it until the second time I viewed the video. Your shirt with the big honkin cross saying NOT OF THIS WORLD, and you nice silver crucifix. You are so bold man. My hats off to you.

Roger thanks for the update with the video. MJ and the team are definitely in a hotbed of Islam. 30% of the Dearborn populace is Muslim. Thanks for showing the hypocrisy of the so-called religion of peace. SLM, a root that means submission, a MuSLiM is one who submits to the will of Allah, who is not the same God as the God of the Bible.

Confident Christianity, I think most Christians would respond just as you would. But, we don't have to weigh words/measure thoughts, nor worry about concealing certain portions of YHWH, hoping to make Christianity palatable for the unsaved.

Sometimes, my heart goes out to the Muslims who try to struggle so hard to sanitize Islam's teachings. In that sense, it is easier for me to read the pitbulls of Islam. They know there is no defense for clinging to the toxic teachings of Muhammad, so they just blast away with filthy language and death threats. Neither view of Islam makes it acceptable.

Great work Nabeel!Too bad the Muslim guy didn't want to be filmed.I think it is because alot of Muslims have a conspiracy belief.Maybe they thought you were a CIA agent or other type,part of a Zionist,or Western or Jewish or even Hindu conspiracy against Islam.I have a Hindu friend and she dislikes Muslims alot.You know Hindus and Muslims in India,even though they look the same and speak the same language don't get along.

Part 1:

What would a Muslim say about Jesus and martyrdom operations?That Jesus would say it is ok.One who studies the 3 religions notices that in Judaism there is no doctrine of hell(it is nowhere in the OT).Also nowhere in the OT is there a crystal clear passage that says "there is a heaven".However heaven is now a part of Jewish doctrine.What we do have in the OT is the resurrection of the dead.

In Sura 9:111 the Torah and the Gospel actually teach going to heaven for killing and getting killed(the Muslim doctrine of martyrdom):"God has bought from the believers their lives and their money in exchange for paradise.Thus they fight in the cause of God,killing and getting killed.

Such is his truthful pledge in the Torah,the Gospel and the Koran,and who fulfills his pledge better than God.You will rejoice in making such an exchange.This is the greatest triumph."

The Muslim religion is very strange.But first,Christians believe in gradual revelation so the idea of heaven and hell came last.Moses didn't know it.He didn't know about resurrection.It appeared hundreds of years later.

Part 2:

What is the emphasis on Moses?He gave the Torah and in it there is no mention of heaven,so 9:111's(not 9/11,only a coincidence) promise of heaven for killing and getting killed for God is incorrect.

Not only that but nowhere in the OT is there such an idea,nor in any Jewish writing till today.Muslims believe it was there originally based on faith.Also a faith thing is that the Gospel also had the 9:111 statement.Where?Not in any part,nor in the whole NT.Nor in the Gnostic gospels,or by any Christian writers(Origen,Jerome,Augustine,etc).The Muslim Jesus has a strange way of thinking.When you consider the documentary evidence against the Koran from the Grand Mosque of Sana,Yemen you have to say 9:111 says things that never existed.

At the very end of the video he looked as though he might be willing to answer your question on camera? Was he?

When you are defending the biggest lie perpetrated on mankind in history, like the Muslims in this vid, this is how you have to behave.

"we can talk but turn the camera off"

Very revealing. In other words yes I will defend these things but since my answer is going to be propaganda for you, I don't want it recorded.

Great job Nabeel. God bless.

Nabeel -

I have to ask. Did you end up turning the camera off and, if so, did he then answer your questions?

Brian,

A Muslim security guard grabbed the camera and forced Mary Jo to turn it off. When we learned from the police that we are most certainly allowed to record in public, we returned to discuss things with the Muslims (while filming). We left peacefully, but then we were repeatedly assaulted by security. Fortunately, we have everything on tape! Nabeel is putting the footage together. This is huge. At the Arab festival, Christians were bullied, threatened, intimidated, and assaulted by Muslim security guards. One of the security guards even had a "Hezbollah" tattoo down his arm. Don't worry, we'll have the footage for you soon!

Don't worry David,we are with you150%.Even if I were not Christian I would be.Or if you were a Buddhist or Hindu or still an atheist I would support your right to free speech.I am 100% sure all my friends would agree(and almost all of them are non-Christian,non-Muslim).

We have real problems in the world to have to put up with measures to make us non-Muslims be discriminated,our rights waived aside because one group believes they have the true religion.Like global warming,and that tunas will disappear in 3 years due to overfishing,and that there are only 3,000 polar bears and 5,000 tigers left.

you guys muslims are always on the media. always. al-queda, taliban etc.
IF this was done somewhere else, even tak saudi arabia, they would answer infront of camera's.
again its hard being muslim living here in the west with the media always putting our beliefs down.
Anyways did you ask and what did he say?

Wonderful work, you guys. Thank you for doing it.

Ali said: "IF this was done somewhere else, even tak saudi arabia, they would answer infront of camera's. again its hard being muslim living here in the west with the media always putting our beliefs down."

Ali, the questions routinely asked by Nabeel and David about Islam could NEVER be asked at an open air festival in Saudi Arabia. They would be charged under 'blasphemy' laws in numerous Islamic countries, beaten, or even killed.

As for the media "putting Islam down", I disagree. The media doesn't behead people shouting Allahu Akbar, the media doesn't blow people up in martyrdom operations, and the media didn't violate the Civil Rights of David and Nabeel in Dearborn. Islam has the reputation it has because of what Muslims are doing every day all around the world. Actually, the media handles Islam with kid-gloves. It is not critical enough, and it has been systematically obscuring the truth about what is happening around us.

Also, clean up the mess in your own backyard before you complain about how "hard" it is to be Muslim in the west. Deal with your coreligionists that blow things up, kill people, work to impose Sharia in our lands, and broadcast bigoted hatred for all the world to see in their mosques. Then, try being a Christian or a Jew in a so-called 'Muslim country'. In the west, you have Constitutional protection, full political participation, political lobbying groups, legal action committees, etc. Go talk to the people that have lost their jobs, families, and even their lives simply for converting out of Islam.

Ali said: «again its hard being muslim living here in the west with the media always putting our beliefs down»... another profection sindrome... well, at least here in the west you can live with your religion even when the media is always trying to show to everyone the truth aboute islam; on the other hand, in muslim countries Christians are:

truly persecuted (justte nott in a fertille imagination off some berie sensible and emotive folks);

emprisioned;

thretenned too dead;

prohibited too live there;

prohibited too have normal civil rightes;

prohibited too express their beliefs;

prohibited too have their religious books;

and so onne... and so onne

so, Ali, your comment looks like the hippopotamus accusing the sparrow for habbing a big mouth...

Hello Fernando:

Good comment.Also by Sepher Shalom.Ali,in the West most people have a low opinion of Islam for X reasons,some good,some bad.But the great majority of us non-Muslims leave it at that,in the realm of ideas.We are not going to beat up a Muslim we don't know just because we have a low opinion of Islam.
There are some people who are very racist.But that dosn't mean I am going to beat up a racist for his ideas.Argue with him,yes,no more.

I suggest you would do well by telling the people in your mosque that the charge of "Islamophobia" is wrong for X reasons.The term should be "muslimophobia".Muslimophobia is to attack,discriminate a person who believes in Mohammed.That is a real hate crime.Or to burn down a mosque.

Imitate the Jews.They never say "Judaismophobia".The say anti-Jewish crime or "judeophobia".If your people in the mosque don't agree with abandoning "Islamophobia" for "muslimophobia" then they are not serious about human rights,and you are intelligent,you would see the logic.

Now that's funny! His comments also sounds like Muslims accusing Jews and Christians of violence.

Great and courageous work guys! How about for next year's event we flood the festival with so many video cameras that we overwhelm their security's ability to respond? I would think 100 video cameras wandering around would make things difficult for them to respond to.
