I am from a country where the majority is neither Christian nor muslim. The hindu majority do not like the 'exclusivity' of both Christianity and Islam. However, almost every hindu would consider the life and moral teachings of Jesus as exemplary moral example/model. They are more than willing to accord the status of one of the incarnations to Jesus along with hindu beliefs in incarnations like Ram, Krishna etc (just that they do not like the Christian claim of Jesus as the One True Incarnation).
The exact opposite is true with respect to life/teachings/actions of Muhammad. It would be virtually impossible to find a hindu with any appreciation of morality of life/teachings of Muhammad. It needs tremendous amount if indoctrination/brain-washing (or as Jesus called it, a ‘love for traditions’ which are man made) to find overall appreciation of life/teachings/actions of Muhammad (though some may do it for political correctness) in comparison.
