Is the God of the Bible the same as the god of the Qur'an?

On Saturday November 17 I engaged in a dialogue / debate with Imam Farhan Iqbal at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque in Maple, Ontario, Canada. The subject was "Is the God the Bible the same as the god of the Qur'an?' This is the Q & A portion which also includes the final concluding remarks from myself and Imam Farhan Iqbal. I am hoping to post the opening statements which includes the power points soon. The recording was a bit of a disappointment as parts of it was a bit garbled and there was an echo in the background. To regular visitors to this blog, the Ahmaddiya Muslims are the group that Nabeel Qureshi was part of before he came to faith in Christ.

It is disgusting that one will be learning Islam from a Christian.I wonder how he could give what he does not have .He is teaching Christianity not Islam.

It's no different from other religions doing the same thing. There is a Islamic site teaching Christianity. There is a Jewish site teaching Christianity. It's just ig

Then there is Allah, pretending to teach Judaism with his corrupt version of the Torah and giving it a new name "Islam".

Is Allah the God of the Bible?

@ Amin

Allah claims to have revealed the Torah. Yet the teachings of the Torah are irreconcilable with the teachings of Allah. Many Muslims recognize this and hence they make the charge of corruption against the Torah. For Muslims to prove that Allah revealed the Torah is simple. All they need to do is produce credible evidence to show that the Torah once taught only pure Islamic doctrine. Since Muslims have utterly failed to do this, we can only conclude that Allah's claim to be the God of the Torah is fraudulent.

Is the Bible corrupted?

RS Raudh said...

With regards to the validity of Islam, If it can be shown that there is zero evidence for Allah's claim that he revealed the Torah, then the question "is the Bible corrupted?" becomes irrelevant.

Allah threatens those who reject his message with eternal damnation and consequences too unpalatable to contemplate. A just God must support threats of this magnitude with irrefutable and undeniable evidence. Yet the evidence condemns Allah as a fraud.

Is Islam a new religion? Does Muhammad differ from other Prophets?

RS Raudh said...

The message of the Jewish prophets in the Bible expose Muhammad as a fraud. But in the Quran the Jewish prophets are presented as prophets of Islam.

But there is zero evidence that the Jewish prophets ever taught Islam. However some of the things that Muhammad taught probably agree with the teachings of the Jewish prophets.

So Muhammad differs from the Jewish prophets to the extent that Islam differs from their teachings. Similarly Muhammad agrees with the Jewish prophets to the extent that Islam agrees with their teachings.

One thing is certain, where the teachings of the Jewish prophets and Muhammad agree, the Jewish prophets did not copy Muhammad. It could only have been the other way round.

Were the Prophets Jews or Christians?

How the Qur’an corrects Judaism?

RS Raudh said...

In the Jewish Bible the prophets are Israelites (bani Israil?).

With regards to Muhammad, how can a prophet who was so ignorant of the teachings of the Torah correct Judaism.
