Saudi Woman Pays Husband Not to Take a Second Wife

You can see why Islam would be appealing to certain "men."

Emirates 24/7—A Saudi man who was challenged by his friends to marry again in return for SR30,000 (Dh30,000) got a pleasant shock when he returned home and found SR90,000 (Dh90,000) spread on a cake-adorned table for him.

His wife, who had learned of the offer by his friend, decided to outbid them and waited for his return home to counter his thoughts about a second wife.

A YouTube film shot by the husband himself showed the SR90,000 notes were spread neatly on the table while a cake was placed among balloons. A massive pink heart-shaped postcard placed near the cake said in Arabic :”if they give you more…I will give you more and more…may God preserve you for me and only for me.”

Ajel newspaper said the husband’s friends saw the film but it did not make clear if they decided to make a higher offer. The paper did not say where in Saudi Arabia the film was shot. (Source)

Here's the YouTube video the husband made:

May it be that this Saudi husband will recognize how incredibly fortunate he is to be married to his loving wife. May the Only Living God reveal Himself to them and through them. May the Christ of God continue to bless and deepen their union. May they together express in their marriage the Union of Christ with His bride. May the whole world be blessed by the vision of the transformation God can accomplish through a Faithful husband treasuring & honoring a Faithful wife. I hope we get to hear GREAT things from this couple.

David, THANKS for sharing this!

While Muhammad turned the disobedience and sins of David, Solomon and others into virtues, the original command from God is for a man to have one wife.

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24; Mathew 19:5, 8-9

Muhammad’s blatant distortion of the truth to come up with the reverse of what God commands fits into the category of, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness. Isaiah 5:20
