Shadid Lewis PROVES the New Testament Can Be Trusted

In the following video brought to you by Radical Moderate Productions you will see Shadid Lewis demonstrating that the Qur'an teaches the corruption of the Islamic Injil rather than the Old and New Testament Scriptures that Christians possess today.

This oft claim by Muslims: 'The word "Bible" is not in the Bible (so the Bible can not be the Word of God),' is a fallacious argument. If they're being specific about Anglicization the name Isa is not in the Bible so will Muslims accept Jesus and Isa are not one and the same? How about the many other Islamic names which Muslims claim are the same Bible characters?

The word Bible is an Anglicized form of books. The word books (bible) is most certainly found in the Bible.

Daniel 7:10 “A river of fire was flowing
And coming out from before Him;
Thousands upon thousands were attending Him,
And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;
The court sat,
And the books (sef-ar') were opened.

Ezra 4:15 so that a search may be made in the record books (sef-ar') of your fathers. And you will discover in the record books and learn that that city is a rebellious city and damaging to kings and provinces,.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books (βιβλία) were opened; and another book (βιβλίον) was opened, which is [the book] (βιβλίον) of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, (βιβλία) according to their deeds.

Will Muslims now accept this or look for some other lame excuse for rejecting the Bible?

But it gets even more interesting, as we shall see in the Koran.

"Or say you that Ibrahim (Abraham), Isma'il (Ishmael), Ishaq (Isaac), Ya'qub (Jacob) and Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya'qub (Jacob)] were Jews or Christians? Say, "Do you know better or does Allah (knows better ... that they all were Muslims)? And who is more unjust than he who conceals the testimony [i.e. to believe in Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم when he comes, as is written in their books (ketaab è kotob - Anglicized, bible). (See Verse 7:157)] he has from Allah? And Allah is not unaware of what you do." S.2:140

"And (remember) when Allah said: "O 'Îsa (Jesus)! I will take you and raise you to Myself and clear you [of the forged statement that 'Îsa (Jesus), (note the acceptance of "Isa" as the Anglicized Jesus here), is Allah's son] of those who disbelieve, and I will make those who follow you (Monotheists, who worship none but Allah) superior to those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, or disbelieve in some of His Messengers, e.g. Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, 'Îsa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), the Qur'an] till the Day of Resurrection . Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute." S.3:55

.."'Îsa (Jesus), Musa (Moses), etc., or in His Holy books, e.g. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel),." The "Holy books" الكتب
(ketaab è kotob - Anglicized, bible) are stated for all to see.

"O you who believe! Believe in Allah, and His Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and the Book (the Qur'an) which He has sent down to His Messenger, and the Scripture which He sent down to those before (him); and whosoever disbelieves in Allah, His Angels, His books الكتب
(ketaab è kotob - Anglicized, bible), His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away." S.4:136

"Indeed in their stories, there is a lesson for men of understanding. It (the Qur'an) is not a forged statement but a confirmation of (Allah's existing books) which were before it [i.e. the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel) and other Scriptures of Allah] and a detailed explanation of everything and a guide and a Mercy for the people who believe." S.12:111

Yep, even the word "bible" appears in the Koran!

So if the Bible can not be the Word of God because "Bible" is not in the Bible why can't Muslims now accept it as such because the supposed superior book rectifies this in its Arabic form and translation in the Koran!!!?

Is Jesus your prophet and Messiah ? This is what Jesus said about quran. ---- ------ If you believe in Moses and Jesus as your prophet, follow their words. If you haven't, they are not your prophet. Bible first, not belated quran.

------------- What Lord Jesus said in those scriptures is the reason muslims tried hard to dismiss.

Interesting information by Hugh Watt, hello Hugh, how are you doing nowadays?

I am really surprised that nobody has yet pointed out the following reply to Shadid(and I am surprised Shadid himself said it):

"Where in the NT does it says that it is the Gospel according to Jesus?"

It's here:

Mark 1:1

"The beginning of the good news(Gospel, evangelion) of Jesus Christ"

How's it goin'?

Shadid is trying the lame old Muslim playing-with-words trick. It falls into the, 'Where in the Bible does Jesus say "I am God?" category.
Muslims set standards the Koran does not set.

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC, BUT I HAVE TO SHARE:

I got into a dialogue with a Muslim on youtube (the deen show channel which is no longer moderating (censoring) comments.
The topic was millionaire scam artists and partying to Islam.

The commenter is Mohammad Doofish (no, I didn't make up the name) said "The New Testament cites about 10 statements when Jesus said "My Father". Originally the statement "abee" in Arabic, or "my father" is "rabbee" in Arabic, or "my Lord". This is a deliberate dilution of the attributes of the Creator which was meant to mislead people.
There is no trace of any statement directly coming from the Father to Jesus to tell him that he is the Father's son. This is similar to the situation where Jesus never said that he was God or asked people to worship him as God."

My comment: arabic came AFTER aramaic, much of it being formed FROM hebrew and aramaic.
Besides, the New Testament was written in koine greek, the common language of the day so ALL people could read and understand it.

His reply to me: You place Allah versus history, and divine versus secular facts.

No joke. He said it. Allah is against history and secular facts.

Sorry, I know I yell when Rukiah does it but it was too good not to pass up.

Continue on your way.
