Shadid Lewis Helps PROVE the Trinity

Radical Moderate Productions does it again. The following video features Shadid Lewis unwittingly aiding the argument for Trinitarian monotheism even while he tries to argue against it.

The clips in the following video come from our recent debate that can be found here: Is the Trinity Polytheism?

There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:8).

The Hebrew word for ‘one’ is ECHAD which means composite unity — it is used in Genesis 2:24 where the husband and wife become ‘one flesh’. The word for absolute unity is YACHID which is never used of God in the Scripture.

I'm not so sure about the definition of polytheism advocated here, because in the so-called polytheists (Hindu) sutras there exists the concept of a Supreme Brahman (God) and is above all the demigods that are worshipped by the so-called polytheists. Isopanishad [1:1]: "Know that everything animate and inanimate that is within the universe is owned and controlled by the Supreme Lord..."

Even in remote regions of ancient Polynesia who were by modern definition polytheists, there existed the concept of a single all powerful Supreme Being.

So, this begs the question; why is this information ignored by the scholars engaged in discussing it as if it is really that important? Was it emphasised in the New Testament?
