Obama's Big Dilemma

The divinity of Jesus and the Trinity.

All the miracles that were performed by Jesus confirmed that he was indeed the Creator in the flesh; and he had no problem in demonstrating his creative power, which was witnessed by many, like feeding 5000 people, turning water into wine, restoring sight to the blind, healing the sick and raising the dead - all creative acts.

His human nature and body, after dying on the cross, returned back to life after three days.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." John 2:19 (only his human nature and body was killed. His divine nature remained intact because it is impossible to kill God).

"...I lay down my life that I may take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again." John 10:17, 18.
Only God has this power.

This temple (Human nature and body) is foretold in Malachi 3:1.

"And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple..."

Jesus also accepted worship and forgave sins which only God has the authority to do; since it is he that we have dishonoured with our sins/crimes (as we are made in his image).

"That all should honour the Son just as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him." John 5:23

Satan himself was one of the best witness's that Jesus was God the Creator, when, at the end of forty days of being tempted by the devil, during which time Jesus ate nothing and was hungry, the devil said to him:
"If [since] you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." But Jesus answered him, saying, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'" Luke 4:3, 4.

This would have been a pointless temptation if Jesus was not the Creator but just an ordinary man who could not turn stones into bread.

In fact, all the devils/demons/evil spirits were subject to his authority and feared him greatly.

...there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon. And he cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know you, who you are - the Holy One of God!" But Jesus rebuked him, saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him!" Luke 33:33-35

The Trinity

1. The Father is God.
"...because God the Father has set his seal on him." John 6:27

2. The Son is God.
Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM [Exodus 3:14]." John 8:58

3. The Holy Spirit is God.
But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit...? You have not lied to men but to God." Acts 5:3, 4

All three are God.

Then Jesus, when he had been baptized, came up immediatly from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." Mat 3:16, 17

The 'Trinity' is simply an abbreviation for Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; like a team of three like-minded individuals working together in perfect harmony for the same end.
In this case, and since they are of the same nature and essence (Which is love and light, and are therefore as 'one' and have a 'oneness') and have a common purpose and a shared authority, the team as a whole is called God, as per Genesis 1:26, 27

And God said, "Let us make man in our image acording to our likeness..." So God created man in his own image; in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

The divinity of Jesus and the Trinity

Continued from previous comment:

Jesus, the Creator, humbled himself and became like a man...

God was manifested in the flesh. 1Tim 3:16

...in order to become an unblemished and perfect sacrifice on our behalf, as foretold all throughout the Old Testament.

He was both the Sacrifice and the High Priest who offered it up. He willingly sacrificed his perfect human nature (but leaving his divine nature intact) in order to make atonement for the world's sins/crimes.

Without this there would be no salvation for anyone.

...and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Heb 9:22

my dear Brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ
I know this is going to be off-topic, but i really need help here:
1. I live in THE UK, and due to the spiritual influence by God to become an apologist to Islam by David Wood, and Sam Shamoun, i have researched the Koran, Tafsirs, al-Hadith, Sirat Rasul Allah, and now about to study the al-Tabari volumes. where do i get the full original Volumes of al-Tabari?

2. Muslims claim that Allah is only Omnipresent by knowledge NOT by existed. How can i refute this?

3. Based on al-Tabari, some muslims claim that it is not authentic based on this claim he made: "Hence, if I mention in this book a report about some men of the past, which the reader of listener finds objectionable or worthy of censure because he can see no aspect of truth.. let him know that this is to be attributted to those who transmitted it to us and we have merely passed this on as it has been passed on to us." (Tarikh al-Tabari Vol.1 page 3)". what do i do here????

THANKS AND LORD GOD JESUS BLESS YOU ALL RICHLY.

@ Don, you said, some Muslims claim that allah is only Omnipresent in terms of knowledge not existence. how do i refute this?

yeah that's allah, there's certain things he cannot do and be. Proof positive that he is not the true God who can be/do whatever He will. There's no need to refute this, simply tell them their god is limited. Period!

Thank you for another excellent video. I am confused about a detail:

I have always heard that the Arabic word for "mischief" is "fitnah". However, you are saying something like "fassat" (sorry if I have transliterated incorrectly). Can someone explain? I do not know anything about Arabic and would like to be explaining this verse correctly to people.

Thanks.

TA -
there are two words -
fitnah فتنه
= rebellion, mutiny, mischief, chaos, confusion

Surah 8:39

Many Muslims also say it means "temptation" and "trial" and "oppression". When society rebells against Islamic standards and children are disobeying and rebelling against their parents, that not only mischief and rebellion, but it leads to chaos and when enough young Muslims are in the streets and becoming western, then it is a trial and temptation and oppression for the real consistent Muslims.

they stretch the meaning of the word to the practical implications of allowing corruption and rebellion - because of the way Islam interprets things, as Sam and David explained, anything that is not Islamic can be interpreted as "fitneh" (rebellion, mutiny, mischief, chaos) and also "corruption" ( Fessad, Fassad) see below ]

fassad or fessad - فساد = corruption, moral corruption, rottenness, decay

Surah 5:32-33

Consistent Muslims who believe in all of Islam for today - Sharia, Caliphate, Jihad, etc. - they can all interpret both fitnah and fessad as pretty much the same thing. Freedom of speech, Democracy, Capitalism are also against Islam - Capitalism is against Zakat, Democracy is against an Islamic state and government, and Freedom of speech goes against "don't insult the prophet", etc. Freedom of religion - freedom for Muslims to turn away from Islam is against Islamic law, so all of these things ultimately are both fitneh and fessad.

David and Sam,
Very good video.

What do you say to those Muslims who say they disagree with the Jihadists/terroists/honor killing/wanting Sharia, etc. who say that all of those verses and issues you guys bring up are only for
- a true Islamic state with the Caliphate
- and that there is no true Islamic state right now
- they say even Saudi Arabia is not a true Islamic state because they allow a monarchy and that is un-Islamic

and . . .

These Muslims, the "moderates"/ westernized Muslims, etc. - those that disagree with the Taliban, Al Qaeda, etc. killing civilians, etc. (at least they say that) - at the same time, also promote the re-establishment of the Caliphate and talk about the benefits of Islamic law (Sharia), etc. and say it is wrong to insult the prophet (for example it seems that Paul B. Williams, Sami Zaatari, Abdula Al Andalousi, Muslim Debate Initiative, etc. constantly have articles on how wrong it is to insult the prophet, and want to re-establish the Caliphate in the Muslim world (Hizb e Tahrir) , yet also say they disagree with killing civilians, 9-11, Al Qaeda, Taliban, etc. (yet constantly have articles that are against American attempts of defeating Islamic terrorists, etc.).

The big questions that need to be pressed to them is what if the Caliphate and Islamic state was restored, would they then agree to Jihad against the west?

It seems that as long as there is not an islamic state and there is not a Caliphate, they can say they disagree with honor killings and killing civilians and Al Qaeda, but if there was an Islamic state and Caliphate restored, they would have to agree with the Islamic leadership in calling for a Jihad against the west - and against Democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of religion (including freedom for Muslims to turn away from Islam) - Abdullah Kunde apparently believes that the law of apostasy is not automatic death penalty, but Bassam Zawadi does.

That seems to be the issue that differentiates the Islamic terrorists/Jihadists, etc. vs. the Muslims who say they disagree with that Al Qaeda stuff, but who also want the Caliphate restored.

The Holy Bible said...

The Bible is also against democracy because God said honor your king not Democracy because it is a hidden danger we are already involve in about the Islam in our country.

Today we do not have a king but a government a Atheist believe center mi call it.

Islam use democracy to spread their ideology in our Christian countries.

Also, Catholic is also not a Christian believe it's a ideology that use the Bible and their rules in it.

Islam and Catholic are very dangerous ideology.

Sam, do you agree that the NIV translation is wrong? Look out for using that translation Brother special the new testament.
