INDONESIA--An Indonesian civil servant who declared himself an atheist on Facebook was arrested and is now facing jail for blasphemy after being attacked by an angry mob, police said today.
Alexander An, 30, who wrote "God doesn't exist" on his Facebook page, was beaten by a mob of dozens on Wednesday in his hometown in Pulau Punjung, West Sumatra province.
"He is suspected of having blasphemed against Islam," local police chief Chairul Aziz told AFP.
"The man told police investigators that if God really exists and has absolute power, why didn't he prevent bad things from happening in this world."
An said on his Facebook page that he was brought up as a Muslim, like the vast majority in Indonesia, where blasphemy is a punishable crime carrying a maximum five-year prison term.
Dozens of locals stormed into his office after a heated debate with them on Facebook over religion, police said.
An was also an administrator of a Facebook group promoting atheism with 1243 followers. His postings no longer appeared online following his arrest. (Source)

I'm sure Muslims in the UK would jump at the chance to defend this atheist's rights, if only they weren't so busy complaining about cartoons.

Maybe it was the notorious "bill jarkata", an Indonesian who refers to himself as "Muslim-Atheist", which is baffling and confusing but likely since that's what Muslim society does to a person.
Whoever it was, You can see, you don't even have to live under sharia in it's completeness just a Muslim dominated society to be trashed on. Oh wait, that's even possible in the West now.....
If that happened to me here, I would still be in jail for one more year.
However unfortunately according to the latest stats, in Indonesia still every 1/3 people wants Sharia Law for the entire country:

I will bet my life on it that these 4 men and many other scholars know we are in stage 1 jihad. They KNOW, and the media knows. BUT, they can't say it because the media would air it so much that radical islamists go from crazy to insane.
These 4 men WILL change their views on Islam and the world once they realize they are in stage 2 Jihad.
Once in stage 3 these men will be on the front lines promoting the Muslims to take attack.
I would bet my life on it because once stage 3 hits I, along with every other Christian, will have no life. I pray that God saves us from this punishment and that we receive his grace and mercy.
Yup, that's my country folks the largest nation with muslim majority. Oddly enough many foreigner still consider us democratic nation (mostly because foreigners only knew Bali or other certain minor region which dominated by non muslim, but FYI non-muslim here is around 10-12%)
Other forgotten case is A church in West Java who being denied their religious right to worship by local authorities and surrounding muslims in spite their right has already being granted by SUPREME COURT, but strangely government in highest authority don't dare to execute this SUPREME COURT decision upon lower local authority and neglecting christian right to worship and even allowed angry mob to prevent anyone who want to go to the church

Really lets not be that stupid.. there is religion in China mostly Buddhist, christian and most of the USSR is orthodox Christians and Muslims. SO many times I see this ancient propaganda from 1930 and ask myself WHO the hell is really this stupid? Do you live on a farm in the middle of an island, on another planet???
