Just when I thought that you videos can't get any better than they already are, you proved me wrong.

Please also consider making a video response to this Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTUPZDln-NY

In a way, your latest video is already relevant as a response to it but I think it would be worthwhile to make a point by point response.

Very childish video.

Misquoting verses and misinterpreting.

Again..try to understand the context...lol...

I know Nabeel was never a Muslim in his life, only a wannabe Ahmadiyya. Now he's misrepresenting his own past religion which I'm sure he disagreed with these interpretations when he was a wannabe Muslim.

@Haecceitas

The loon giving that August 2010 "Don't Resist Islam; It's Our Future" lecturing speech (yes, speech; it WASN'T spiritual guidance) was Deborah Countiss Lindsay, Minister of Spiritual Care, of First Community Church, Columbus, Ohio.
http://www.fcchurch.com/aboutus/clergy

She is a participant in the Faith & American Politics where the "Rev." (so-called) Jim Wallis and lots of other lefties "teach."

Her bio states that she was formally a "journalist" and "former television newscaster."

From this video it's clear that she is not done with her indoctrinating career. Today she is simply carrying it out in a different venue. The left can never be trusted.

She knows NOTHING about Islam.

We will pray for guys, Jesus stated that we would be persecuted for following Him.

Jesus states in Revelation 1:8: I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

Kangaroo, with all respect, even Wikipedia the most politcally correct encyclopedia ever penned calls Ahmadiyya Islamic.

Whatever quibbling you want to propose, would you be equally agreeable to differentiating between the various denominations in Christianity?

Hello everyone,

Since this post is titled “Islamophobephobia: Politically Correct Persecution”,,,, I hope this comment will get approved and some of you will share your experiences with me.

How many of you have suffered the loss of loved ones for taking a stand against Islam, and to what extent? I hope standing against Islam has not cost ya’ll like it has me but I have a feeling some of you have paid dearly just like me. Let me give my brief testimony and please tell me if anything like this has happened to you all.

On 9/9/10 I became aware of the Islam threat when I went to Facebook pages, both for and against, Terry Jones Koran burning and was shocked by what I saw. Muslims where saying “we will kill you all if you burn our Koran” and others where saying “not if we kill you all first”. What was worse is that people started posting videos of Muslims cutting peoples heads off, burning them alive, stoning them to death etc,,, and not a single Muslim denounced the videos as atrocious and appalling and many of them where justifying the heinous actions. Even non-muslims where justifying them. So I got very involved in the counter-jihad movement and started a website. I immersed myself in everything I could to learn as much as possible about Islam and the dangers of it to the west. I even studied almost everything at CitizenWarrior.com to try communicate effectively about Islam.

But about 1 1/2 years ago my best friend of 30 years got hooked up with a very passive aggressive relativist (for those that don’t know a relativist is someone who thinks all people, cultures and religions are equally good and that there is no such thing as objective morality or good and evil and the only judgment that is allowed is that there should be no judgments). It took less than 2 months before the relativist called me a racist but I shut her down with the fact that Islam is not a race. So then I was just called a hater and bigot. My friend looked like he was going to turn out to be an active counter-jihadist too but the first time the relativist called us a racist, it shut him down. Since then he has slowly turned against me saying I am a “Highly Opinionated Brutally Honest Asshole”,, and the relativist told me that “I wanted to kill every Muslim on the face of the earth”. I spent several months defending myself and trying to reason with my friend, which he could not argue with my logic and agreed with me, but I ended up losing him anyway. He acted like he could not stand to be around me anymore and I got tired of having to defend myself and walk on eggshells to not offend the relativist. So I just chalked up the loss of my friend as a price I was willing to pay to continue to fight for my country and freedoms.

CONTINUED

Then another friend of 12 years came back into my life after not talking much for a year and I thought things where going great and then the same relativist, which my other friend is engaged to, started bashing me and telling him things like I was a “religious fanatic” and of course that I want to kill all Muslims. Well my friend ended up telling me he did not want me in his life if I did not add anything positive to his life and when I asked what he meant he said my “obsession with Islam and debating’ where not acceptable. Well I had hardly ever talked about Islam to him. Only on 3 occasions have I said anything about Islam to him and one of them was “I’m thinking about doing a parody song on Islam called I shot Muhammad but I swear it was because I did not have a sword,” and he laughed and liked the idea. But I ended up losing that friend to.

I try to take comfort in the fact that Jesus’s friends betrayed him too. And I read an article on what the signers of the US constitution suffered for doing so. But to be honest, it still don’t make me feel much better.

The only thing I can think to do is just get more involved. I have joined two local ACT for America chapters and hopefully I’ll gain some like minded friends there because I don‘t have any family.

Can anyone give any advise or maybe share your stories about what standing against Islam has cost you?

I run a support group for Ex-Word of Faithers who have been abused by Word of Faith churches and pastors, do you guys think enough people suffer from “Islamophobephobia” standing against Islam that there might be a need for a support group?

THANKS
damon

I think you got it wrong: Politically correct people do not cheer on Muslims who preach hate or respect their hate in the name of cultural tolerance, but ignore them, insist that they are radicals, and say that true Islam is practiced by the moderates. So this video is woefully flawed.

Also, context is important, contrary to what you say in the video. If I'm not mistaken, weren't the people being spoken against in surah 9 doing something wrong? Didn't they break some kind of agreement with Muhammad? (And context is very important when it comes to the Bible, too. Without context, a reader would think that God is horrible for commanding the Israelites to destroy the inhabitants of Canaan. But with context, we learn that the residents of Canaan were very wicked and deserved judgment. Are you consistent, David?)

Traeh said...

Brilliant. Again.

GAP, you have now piqued my interest. Tell me, what was the bad thing that all of the polytheists did that made Muhammad command they all be exterminated UNLESS they become Muslims?

"And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

The Lord God sees into Islam, and right through Muslim fear and pride.
He still searches for the lost. What a worthy thing to admire and try to imitate.
Don't you think?
I am aware that there are many Muslims out there who have disregarded the violence and imperatives of their faith, Muslims who decided not to pick up a sword, who decided not to kill, maim, humiliate or join with those who do.
And Christ the Savior has seen them.
He is more than merely aware of them.

David Wood said...

Yes, I'd like to see what the polytheists did that would justify (a) Muhammad calling for his followers to massacre them, and (b) GAP attacking my character. I'm thinking GAP is buying into some of the myths Muslims are spreading in the West. Let's see the sources!

GAP's other accusation is that our video is "woefully flawed" because PC people don't cheer Muslims who call for the deaths of infidels. Well, if she's going to be that picky, she should also point out that (1) Muslims don't don wigs and preach in churches, (2) donning a wig wouldn't change a person's skin color, (3) donning a wig wouldn't change a person's outfit, (4) Christians don't physically assault people who criticize Islam's violent teachings, and so on. All of these may be regarded as inaccuracies, provided one ignores the fact that the video is a comedy spoof. I wonder if GAP watches SNL or other shows. If so, she most go mad at all the woeful flaws!

That was incredible. I especially liked the the muslim laughing. At us.

Kangaroo called everyone on this site "loonies" I bet they go to a pro-islam website called loonwatch.com. The comment site is unbelievable. There is absolutely no dissent of opinion. If you disagree at all you will be barred from from submitting comments. Go ahead, try it. They don't want to debate and we don't seem to be able to stop debating.

The Golden Rule - this is what separates islam from a dozen relegions that I can name off the top of my head and hundreds more that i cant.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is a beautiful aspiration for humankind to reach for even if the goal is hard to reach. It is also worth defending.

Kangaroo said: I know Nabeel was never a Muslim in his life, only a wannabe Ahmadiyya.

The way Muslims prioritize things simply never ceases to amaze me. On the one hand, you have a "Muslim" like Kangaroo who is quick to reject Ahmadiyyas as Muslims, largely because of the place that Mirza Ghulam Ahmed occupies in their thinking, which they take to be contrary to their belief in Muhammad as the last prophet and messenger, and yet they don't reject Salafi's even though their error pertains to the very nature of the Islamic god. By this reasoning, it is far more serious and blameworthy to derogate from the importance of Muhammad by saying their was another prophet after him than it is to say Allah really has eyes, ears, hands, feet, etc. If this doesn't give people a window into the Muslim mindset and the fact that Islam unduly exalts its false prophet beyond all proportions, thus meriting the charge of shirk, then nothing will. This is shirk with a vengeance.

P.S. Sorry to follow another "Kangaroo trail". The video was sheer genius once again. This stuff is vintage.

Hello Kangaroo:

Traditionally Muslim scholars have said that the verses in the Koran were made for a specific time and place but at the same time have universal application.

It seems you are of the opinion that some verses are ONLY and ONLY for the 7th century.Never to be applied again.

That's ok with me.Otherwise David and Nabeel quoting violent verses as applicable to our time is not incorrect.

minoria said...

Hello Damon:
I just read your story. Those 2 people were never your friends.A real friend does not act like that.

But I know that mentality:I have seen it in Dan Barker,Hector Avalos, and now Richard Carrier. In a video Carrier even says Hitler practiced a form of Christianity.I know better than that. They are beyond reasoning. They have gone off the edge.

As for Islam and people none of my friends has ever done what yours have.I have told other non-Muslims about aspects of Islam and they were shocked.

THEIR PROBLEM

It is that they dont see religious fanatics of Islam are a danger to THEM.They have a lack of immagination and cant understand that it is possible for a nuclear war to begin very soon.

Damon Whitsell said...

Thank you so much for your response Minoria. I am feeling much better today. I posted the same thing at a few places and you’re the only one to respond as of yet. Believe it or not it makes me feel better that this kind of stuff has not happened to you. That tells me that the problem is not with me but with my ex-friends, and mostly my ex-friend’s relativist fiancé. The one that told me should would make it to heaven because she is a good person that has never hurt anyone, and then she turns around and tells me and other people that I want to kill every Muslim on the face of the earth - like that don’t hurt, it is also the sin of bearing false witness because I have never wanted to kill anyone except the guy that murdered my brother and God set me straight on that.

I know my friends where real friends, at least they once was before the relativist convinced them I am a monster. One even risk his life to save mine before.

Let me tell you what my friend and his fiancé did. They sat me down and opened up a huge book on astrology and said,, “this stuff is true because it says here that because of when you where born you like to debate and you debate more than anyone we know”. I pointed out the lunacy of that because not everyone that likes to debate was born at the same time as me. But then I was told that arguing is a form of violence by the relativist. And then she said that every relationship she has ever been in was full of arguing. She is willing to infer that I am very violent but not herself because she is a sinless little angel. But think about this, if I debate because of when I was born, the stars says so, and I just cannot help it,,, then aren’t they basically picking on a disabled person by saying arguing is violence?

Can you believe when I came into this counter-jihad thing that I expected deaths threats from Muslims but have not received any from Muslims yet but have already received two death threats from Non-Muslims? They where both far left and relativist. Little did I know my real battle would be with those types.

Yesterday I was thinking I’ll never talk to anyone about Islam again because I don’t have any family and now all my friends are online friends. I have a good church now but I am still new there and did not want them to end up demonizing me too. But I think it will be a whole different thing there because they are not relativist.

THANKS SO MUCH for your response. People die everyday for their faith, I’m not going to be whining anymore. There is much work to be done.

I just thought that the surah was given as a result of the polytheists breaking treaties with Muhammad. Plus, the surah says something about "once the sacred months have passed," which seems to indicate that this was an "occasional" command (as in not a command for forever and always, but for the occasion), so I don't think it can actually apply to what Muslims are supposed to do today.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the point of the video to illustrate that people are inconsistent when it comes to Islam and Christianity? If they, in reality and contrary to the video, respond the same way to a Christian preacher preaching hate and a Muslim preaching hate, they're not really being all that inconsistent. The inaccuracy touched on the very purpose of the video--that's why I said it was flawed.

Attacking your character? Don't you call people inconsistent all the time? (Or are you mad about me likening your wig to a furry animal? lol)

I believe a treaty is mentioned in Quran 9:4 and in Quran 9:8 (Sahih International)
----------------------------
Excepted are those with whom you made a treaty among the polytheists and then they have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you; so complete for them their treaty until their term [has ended]. Indeed, Allah loves the righteous [who fear Him].

---------------------------
How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient.

---------------------------

Lets also look at Quran 9:29

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.

---------------------------

So Quran 9:29 says that those around them had to pay the jizyah and adopt the laws of the Muslims.

Quran 9:4 says that those who made the treaty with you, as long as they had not been deficient in any way or supported another. Not sure what they were supposed not to be deficient in. Perhaps resources? Does it refer to the jizyah demanded of the others in 9:29?

Quran 9:8 says that there cannot be a treaty with the polytheists if they are dominant. It goes on to say that while they have the treaty, they refuse to be compliant and are disobedient. So they refuse to comply and refuse to obey, perhaps they refuse to submit, as required in Quran 9:29?

---------------------------

It almost sounds like a protection racket.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Read some commentaries. I feel a post coming on. Muslims refer to 9:5 as the "Verse of the Sword." It abrogated all previous verses calling for peace with unbelievers.

GAP said: "If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the point of the video to illustrate that people are inconsistent when it comes to Islam and Christianity? Wrong, wrong, wrong. The purpose of the video is not "How a Crowd Would React to a Radical Muslim vs. How a Crowd Would React to a Radical Christian." The point of the video is that people (including GAP, apparently) claim that the Qur'an is peaceful and tolerant. Whenever we point out violent verses, we're labeled as intolerant and racist. So we ask a simple question: If the words of the Qur'an were put into the mouth of a non-Muslim, and spoken against Muslims, would people regard them as peaceful? Of course not. People immediately recognize the verses as violent and intolerant. GAP even referred to Nabeel's presentation as "preaching hate." But all he did was quote the Qur'an and Muhammad! So GAP recognizes the quotations as hateful and violent, yet wants to maintain that the Qur'an is peaceful! That's the point of the video.

GAP said: "Attacking your character? Don't you call people inconsistent all the time? (Or are you mad about me likening your wig to a furry animal? lol)"

When I call someone inconsistent, it's because they're being inconsistent. When you call me inconsistent, it's because you're buying into absurd Muslim explanations of extremely violent texts.
