A Muslim worship leader is accused of raping a 12-year-old boy during visits to a mosque for religious lessons.Mohammed Hanif Khan, 42, is alleged to have sexually assaulted the boy inside the Stoke on Trent mosque where he worked as the imam.
He is also charged with the attempted rape of and sexual activity with the boy's cousin, who was 15 at the time, as he stayed over at his home one evening.
Khan, who appeared in front of Nottingham Crown Court yesterday wearing a black suit, white shirt and red tie, spoke only to confirm his name and to enter not guilty pleas to all eight charges against him.
Khan, from Sheffield, is charged with three counts of rape, four counts of attempted rape and one count of sexual activity with a child, all of which are alleged to have taken place on various dates between July 1, 2009 and October 16, 2009. (Read more.)

A few years ago, I read a article that Muslims in the UK were coming to grips with the ever increasing sexual abuse scandals in there Masjids. They were seeking advice from the Catholic Church in England on how to handle this problem.
I'm not joking on that. I can not find the article but perhaps someones has seen it.

I didn't imply that at all.
Here's the point. Muslims point to various instances of immorality in the West. Then they say, "You see! You need Islam! Islam will change all of this!" But then we see Muslims doing exactly the same thing. So why should anyone believe that Islam will change the immoral behavior?
You know what if the media will expose these atrocities like it does with the Catholic church then I believe 100% that the abuse with muslims outweighs the abuse with the Catholics!
I will not be surprised since i know what the haideth and the quran allow regarding sex with women, and young boys. Sick!!

The key difference is culture.
In the West, the personal and physical integrity of an individual is violated when that person is raped.
In Islam, and in the countries where it dominates, there is no such belief. Rape is not seen as inherently wrong.
So while certain Christian clergymen rape in the West, they always do so under the shadow of its being thought criminal.
In Islam, no such shadow falls on the rapist.
But the shadow of misery always, always falls on the victims of rape.

Our problem -as west - is summarized in: generalization with hatred + ignorance with prejudice.
why do not we use better glasses to see the truth as it is , instead to be surprised by our own mistakes and foolishness.. we used to thing Arabs are so donkeys till we see them in the streets crying for freedom... we must read, from truthful historical and present resources, to know what is all about...
