I've not watched the entire thing yet, but I loved when James mentioned the Knostics. It's very clear that Muhammad took a lot from the Knostics. For example, Jesus did not die on the cross but someone that "looked like him" died instead. Hmmmm, where do I find this? IN THE QURAN! Also, there is a monk mentioned in the hadiths called Waraqa bin Nawfal that Muhammad frequently visited. I wonder if he was a Knostic? But it seems to me that Islam took some of its things from the Knostics.

Does anyone knows why muhammad was "more" "tolerant" to Christian priests and monks? I'm wondering iff it was only due to the fact they could not habe kids and, son, were no threat to islam supperiority...

Interesting to see analysis. Given your background, I would be interested to know your refutation of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9Yj8o9NYcQ

While I agree that Muhammad may not have known that much about Jesus, I question whether he never heard Christians use language very much like this.

I never use the word Trinity, because it simply is not a biblical word. I use the word Godhead, because this is the word used in Romans 1:20 and Colossians 2:9.

More to the point though was what Christians were talking about in the 7th century, and the fact of the matter is, that there were a number of ecumenical councils around that time give or take 2 centuries either way, that were hotly debating the nature of Jesus.

The Council of Ephesus, in 431 CE began calling Mary the mother of God.

In 451, the council of Chalcedon made it anathema to all who did not confess that the Virgin Mary was the mother of God. "Theotokos"

Fifty years after Muhammad died, in 680 CE, the debate of the nature of Jesus was still being debated in the Council of Constantinople.

Christians can really argue, too. Have you notice that? I love to argue about the bible, because it helps me learn it--but sometimes... Was it Neitche who said "We flock like sheep, attack like wolves."

So I am sure that Mohammad had plenty of time to listen to men arguing with each other about these matters, and absolutely get confused about what nature Mary consisted of.

Anyway, if I was a Muslim, and I was going to argue with you, I would take you right to those council decrees. Back then, they would have been the talk of the day.

Of course I haven't finished your arguement, though. I've only listened for an hour.
