Trial Begins Monday--Support Needed

Paul, Nabeel, Negeen, and I will stand trial next week on charges of "breach of peace" (and, in Negeen's case, "failure to obey the lawful order of a police officer"). Those of you who have been following the case know what we're up against. Roger Williams lied about us. Amal Alslami lied about us. Corporal Brian Kapanowski lied about us. Sergeant Jeffrey Mrowka lied about us. Even the mayor lied about us. Despite the fact that our video footage proves our innocence, Dearborn prosecutor William DeBiasi is still coming after us. Please keep the trial in your prayers. It's apparently going to go on for four or five days. If you're in the Michigan area, the trial is open to the public. We'll also post daily updates here on the blog.

We need help covering our expenses (e.g. hotel costs, rental car, etc.). Please help if you can.

I really wish I could charge the DA the $$ it will cost the citizens of Michigan for such a frivolous lawsuit. Thank God you guys have the cameras. I can't believe the judge is actually letting the trial continue. Praying for yall.

is there an address to mail a check?

Wow. I thought the judge would at least dismiss the charges against Negeen. It's ridiculous that this should be going forward to trial. Praying for you.

I wish I had money to support you all. But I have a feeling a request will be made by the prosecution to continue.

I used to live in Dearborn and still have property and family in Dearborn. Don't know if this helps but about two years ago when I was visiting my Grandmother in Dearborn I found a koran in her house. When I asked where it came from she said someone was passing them out in the neighborhood. So apparently its okay to deliver koran's door to door but not pass out the Gospel of truth in Dearborn. My prayers are with you. If I could I would like to take the group, out for dinner Tuesday and invite you to my Church for Worship service Wednesday night. You have my email let me know how to contact.

I would encourage the Christian brothers and sisters to contribute even a little amount toward providing some financial relief for our siblings in Christ. They must bear the brunt of this persecution, though Christ Himself is being persecuted. It will eventually come to all of us sooner rather than later if we do not help our fellow Christians in need.

Jesus, thank You for being our Lord and Savior--for dying on the cross to give us freedom from sin and death. We love You and devote ourselves to You and to the proclamation of the gospel. Father, we pray for those who do not know You--especially those who fear You so greatly that they consider You and Your people their enemies. Help us to tell them the truth of salvation, regardless of whether they persecute us or accuse us wrongly. We know that we already belong to the kingdom of heaven, and they will perish if they do not accept the truth. Help us to stand strong for the sake of Your name and be as loving and forgiving as You would be. We rejoice that we follow in Your footsteps, as the disciples and prophets did before us. Prepare hearts for repentance, Lord, and give us Your words so that many can be brought to Your salvation. Thank You for hearing our prayers. We praise You this is not an occasion for fear but an opportunity to bring in a plentiful harvest of souls. In Jesus\' name, Amen.(From Charles Stanley 140 days of prayer for our nation)

Hi David and friends,

I just sent you some money via pay pal, it was not a much, but I hope it will help a little and also show you that there are christians all over the world who support you, after all I am from berlin germany and ppl even here know about the injustice in dearborn. BTW, the address on my pay pal account was my old address, so please ignore that address. However, I did pray for you, I am praying for you and I will continue to pray for you and that not only because of the trail, I pray also that your work will blossom and grow so everybody has at least a chance to hear the truth and that would be the word of God. God Bless you.
Peter

I guess I could go to the trial in Dearborn next Monday. I live in the Detroit area.I'm off of work. It is just that I am afraid.

Will it help people from the public show up? Otherwise I would rather not.

Hey, guys, we're all going crazy out here waiting for an update. Is there any place else that updates are being posted? Praying that it's going well. I would love some kind of dramatic thing where Roger Williams insists on testifying and says God has convicted his heart of lying about you and bearing false witness, asks forgiveness, tells the jury it was all a lie from the beginning, etc.

This, of course, is a fantasy. But one can hope. Please let us know what's happening as soon as you can.

Hello:
I am glad at east $2,770 have been raised for food and hotel.
I posted the same petition in favor of your case again in avraidire.eu,in French and another time in the popular anti-Islam blog called:
pi-news.org
(politically incorrect),it is the 3rd comment in the comment section of their article about the Mohammed cartoons("Muhammed Caricatures in a Book").It took them 2 days to approve it.
They say that blog is read by tens of thousands everyday.Very few make comments,so any comment is read just out of curiosity.
I have a feeling it made at least 1 or 2 more people contribute and it certainly made others know about the blog.
Check out pi-news.org.

Is there someone willing to donate a guesthouse or a rental home? That way you have a place of operations during the trial.

Thank you to all who donated! We praise God for you!
