David:

I was happy to see you with bros Sam on this TV show tonight, it was really cool.

I Hope someone is recording these shows, to be posted soon.

Anyway, i would like to comment on that guy who tried to prove Muhammed prophecy , that Jesus prophecised at him.

But my approach is different, what is the real name of muahmmed ??!! it was surprising to me, and I know this will be shocking to every muslim, that muhammed is not his real name !! in fact i am still searching what his real name is.

In fact this was mentioned in several places, That muahmmed is not a nmae, it is an adjectivethat is why the name muhammed was mentioned among other adectives, and he is the one who called himself so, thinking by this he would fit himself into any biblical text , to prove his prophethood !!

references: Zad El meaad Seera
A; rod al anf
and couple of other hadiths

i have the links but in arabic, still cant locate english translation yet !!

David said he can't understand why people convert to a religion without knowing anything about it. He adds he was an atheist that carefully investigated Christianity before converting. I have to strongly agree with the first point and therefore point out to David that the majority of Christians I know of depend on religious experiences(holy spirit) for conversion, not reason or evidence, so David please make sure to tell these people to be more careful by using reason and evidence.

Unfortunately David then even contradicts his first point. David says he believes the words of the only person in history who has risen from the dead, and that's why he accepts the claims Jesus made about himself. Yet even the Torah contradicts this point. Having miracles (signs and wonders) occur is not proof of the persons theological ideas according to Torah.

So i'd like to point out to David if Jesus did rise from the dead, that only means he rose from the dead. That doesn't mean a God exists, or that God is one, or that Jesus is God.

You mean Nadir Ahmed? Did he call in to the program? Let me guess, he challenged David to a debate after claiming that everyone is "running away from him" because they just can't handle a debate with the #1 apologist for Islam.

Oh man,

I have not seen the programs, but I am hearing from people here in UK that you turned the Muslim world upside down.

You guys need to do a few more of these programs, possibly on a regular basis, the reaction has been unbelievable.

Good work my two brothers (Wood and Shamoun), may God strenghten and encourage you in this glorious task.

DK, can you quote the portion of Torah where it says that signs arent proof, so we can examine the context where this is said.

thanks,
Nakdimon

Hahaha, how did you guess ? :)

I listened to all three nights and I have to say the last one is one of my favorites. The Screaming Sheik, and the screaming muslima by far made the program most entertaining. I just wish the screaming muslima would of called in sooner instead of at the end of the show.

I loved teh second night where MuslimTruthRevealed called in. He is the muslim who was giving the arabic lesson. He is a Quranni, and even by Quranni standards he has deviant Idea's. It is funny to hear him argue with natural born arabic speakers. Even muslims have said in his rooms that they agree with me. LOL now that is funny.

I hope there is more shows in the future.

Haecceitas said...

"Hahaha, how did you guess ? :)"

So is that what really happened?

Well, Nadir is quite predictable, so it only takes a little observation of his past behaviour to predict things like that. :)

I only listened to about the 1st hours of shows on friday and saturday, while missing the sunday show altogether. (The timing was the worst possible for me as it was in the middle of the night here in Finland.) So I really hope that recordings of the programs can be viewed somewhere somehow.

I did not listen to it but may have called in to challenge any misinformation being circulated.

Anthony Rogers said...

Yahya,

Do you always determine in advance of hearing what is going to be said by people that they are guilty of spreading "misinformation"?

By the way, whatever happened to that baton you accused David of dropping? After tossing it to me, I tossed it back to you and you have yet to answer me. I'd like to know what you have to say on the issues I raised.

P.S. If you do muster up the courage to respond, you would do well to refrain from accusing me of spreading "misinformation." You have already made yourself unbelievable using that line of argumentation.

Yahya Snow said...

Semper

The "misinformation" I suspect is du to my experiences with Christian missionaries speaking abouy Islam; they have a tendency to get their facts wrong, this has been observed by myself. thus I am always suspecting misleading information from such people as Wood, not only due to my experiences with internet critics of Islam but also with my observations of Wood personally.

Now, just to make myself distinct from the current "yaahoo brigade" on the internet I do not get motivated to respond to somebody if they childlishly accuse me of cowardice (which you did do).

Please take your amateur discussion tactics elsewhere as I have no time nor desire to part-take in such tussling with you.

I try to adopt a scholarly, reasoned and mature approach to discussion/criticism. Please also note I have studies and other scholarly, as well as social, commitments which occupy me thus rendering me lacking in time to respond to opposing arguments but I do intend to set more time aside as I have recently undertook a house move to a new city and am just settling in now, so watch this space:)

In short:
Please do not confuse a lack of time to a lack of "courage" and if you persist with such obnoxious sabre-rattling then I would only ask you to leave me alone and take your "discussion" to somebody of a similar manner to you.

Thanks

Peace

i dig the new "sam and dave do motown." ;+}> lovin' that new motown sound.

i didn't get to listen to all because i had my grand-daughter for the weekend. but i got in a couple hours each night. loving the screaming sheik. i hope he consents to a public debate. he's probably just looking for a way out of this mohammedan farce, and you guys will provide the avenue of his escape.

G_d bless and keep you two, sam and david, and bless you and your beloveds. in the precious name of Jesus our Lord, our G_d, our Savior, and our King. Peace, in His love, papajoe

Anthony Rogers said...

I am sure I am not the only one to smart from the fact that a Muslim has no time for "Sabre-rattling" with me. I always thought that Muslims and Sabres went hand in hand.

I'm also sure there are others who think it strange that the same guy who called David a "liar" - you know, the thing people do when they are trying to be "scholarly" - and who accused him of "dropping the baton" and runnning from his questions - as if to portray David as a bumbling, cowardly buffoon - now wants out of the discussion he initiated with me on the grounds that he doesn't like being told to muster up the courage of his convictions and provide a response.

And I just know I can't be the only person to puzzle over a person who writes long posts about how he doesn't have time to answer people that he challenged in the first place. To me it looks like this person has a lot of time on his hands to tell everyone that he doesn't have a lot of time on his hands. (Who knows, perhaps his hands are busy swinging a sabre around while chanting "Allahu Akhbar.")

Not Sheik Mohammad!

There is no way to combat this way of thinking other then with the gun. Words have no place when you stand against evil. A conflict of violence is the only course when you are dealing with these types of villains if you wish to remain free......

Semper..

Wood has been highlighted to have misrepresented and mislead on numerous occasions. Also, calling Wood a liar is not what I have alleged, ever ( there is a difference in highlighting misrepresentation and misleading information on the part of Wood and accusing him of telling lies) Please remain factual despite your desire to respond in a piecing fashion.

Also the dropping the batton issue...he responded to part of my post but left the more pressing questioning concerning Christian theology out...hence the dropping the batton. Nobody (well not myself) accused him of cowardice..that is the way of the "yaahoo brigade"

Ok, I told you I have little time in a longish post. And?

Also Semper you said:

I say:

Grow up.

May Allah guide us all. Ameen

ubiquitouserendipity says: no brother, violence is the first resort of the spiritually bereft and intellectually disarmed, read: mohammedans. we discuss, dialogue, exhort, expose, explain, and always have an answer for the hope that lies within, which we desire to impart to our mohammedan counterparts.

but be advised friend, Christians are not door-mats, and many of us feel that as american citizens we have been given the right to protect our properties, homes, beloveds, and persons. i personally will endeavor to share with those who are lost in the darkness of mohammed's cult of death, that there is life more abundant in following Jesus Christ the Righteous.

this board is an apologetics outreach, not a forum for calling to arms. we are called to faith. G_d bless you friend. Peace, in His love, papajoe

Anthony Rogers said...

Yahya Snow said: Also, calling Wood a liar is not what I have alleged,...

Of course you have, Yahya.

On September 26th you said, "Wood is not the most trustworthy of individuals”, he is “devious,” “lies,” is guilty of "intellectual dishonesty," and he needs to “learn how to be honest and just.” (See here)

In any event, Yahya, whenever you have some time to get away from writing long posts about why you don't have time to respond to the people you have challenged, do let me know.

Tawheed has fallen on hard times, and I understand why you would hesitate to help it get back up on its feet, but please do use that sabre of yours to carve out some time for little old me when you are feeling up to it.

David and Shamoun (dear brothers)

I have had the privilege to see some of the programs.

I absolutely loved it; we need more of this much more of it.

In fact we ought to have a world-wide apologetics channel broadcasting 24 hours daily.

I am sure that if the apologists of the entire world put their heads together, such a channel would exist and impact billions of people.

Just imagine challenging atheism, cults and religions such as Islam even in different languages.
